Starbucks dark roast pods are a great deal for me because I can brew a much larger cup and it still has a lot of flavor! (Most other pods you're better just to keep it down to 8 oz. or it will taste watery.)

For those that enjoy a dark, somewhat strong flavor of coffee, you will probably enjoy the Starbucks French Roast K-cup.

I saw this on sale and decided to try it. Hubby likes dark roast coffee. I guess he likes it, no complaints.

This was a very strong coffee so if you need a lot of caffeine to get you going this is your go to product I have recommended it to friends and family who have worked graveyard or second shift it definitely gives you a boost when you’re sluggish

French roast from Starbucks is a medium roast coffee with a great not too strong taste that everyone will enjoy!

Has a good flavor, I use them for ice coffee they are a strong flavor

Purchased my wife a Keurig a few Mother's Days ago and she has been putting it thru its paces using these pods to make her coffee in the morning. She loves this flavor as well as many other and she enjoys the convenience and taste.

For a quick pick-me-up or just morning wake-up, this is the coffee that tastes great and gets the job done. This is a strong roast and k-cups taste just as good as the fresh-poured cup of coffee from a Starbucks store.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but my girlfriend loves this roast. She likes the k-cup so she can brew for herself since I don't drink it. She's a fan of darker roasts and she drinks this for her everyday coffee. They were on sale at the time, so we got a good price on them.

I've tried most of the K-Cup dark roast varieties -- French Roast, Verona, Sumatra, etc. -- and this by far is my favorite. Gives you a nice jolt but doesn't have that "burnt coffee" taste.

Excellent bold flavor. Compares very favorably to Starbucks French Roast. Starbucks French has always been my favorite. But this one is excellent. This "French Roast" Starbucks maybe a tad more 'smokey' and a bit more bitter than the other flavors, but this is still close in flavor to the "Coffee-Shop" itself. Tomorrow, depending on how my taste buds are working, I may find no difference at all. I guess if you like a nice french roast, I don't think you can go wrong trying this coffee, especially at this price. PS. I used a Keurig K-Select brewer, and the cup size was the 3rd largest, just before the mug size. So how many ounces of water you use will, of course, affect the flavor.
