It didn’t arrive in time so it took time away from the early access I paid for. Thankfully I didn’t have any damage like others seem to have had. I would wait for a sale and buy it then for the story expansion and if you like the steelbook. Early access was pointless in the end.

It was always gonna a be a Bethesda game, and it definitely is. If you like their games, definitely buy it. I’m the type that has multiple thousands of hours in Skyrim having played it for so many years and knowing every little thing it has to offer, and this will be the replacement to it for the next decade. I bought this upgrade after playing even though I already pre-ordered the deluxe on steam. It was so good I just needed the patch and steel book. Gorgeous stuff too. The steel book is a great displaypiece

Definitely worth it- the premium upgrade let me play 5 days early, and it also gives me access to the DLC when it releases. And the steelbook looks so pretty too.

I got this for my husband for his birthday and we weren't disappointed. The game starts out slower but got really good my husband barely put it down. There weren't too many bugs but it did crash once or twice in the beginning.

Starfield looks and plays amazingly. The character customization is deep. I am really glad that I picked up the Starfield Premium Upgrade in conjunction with having Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to have the Early Access.

I rated this a 2 because this was rushed so the game will eventually be abandoned because everyone went back to cyberpunk 2077

Game is great, but it arrived 4 days late which ruins the whole “early access” thing. Cool patch but a nice big dent in the steelbook.

Game is great, paid for the pre-order in order to get early access to play the game which was set to release August 31. Best buy didnt ship item until Septemeber 1st. If your looking to get your hands on the game as soon as possible, i advise pre ordering from somehwere other than best buy.

Game is NOT included, but I have the game on gamepass and just wanted the steelbook and season pass. It is exactly what it is. If you’re buying this, then you like Starfield just as much as I did or maybe even more.

Well, fist off bestbuy messed up the early release, we know that. As for the game, it is kind of ehhh. The story is really good, the graphics amazing, but honestly for someone who was going off the trailer and description the game itself is kind of mid. For all the hype and the descriptions I expected a space game, but it really is just a game set in space. You want to take off in your spacecraft, cut screen, want to land, cut screen, want to travel, cut screen. It is an RPG and that aspect is pretty good, but for a game that claims to be in the Starfield, you just are not in the stars. Especially when I hear stuff like "25 year in the making" it just feels like Fallout 4 wanting to be in space. I don't want to fast travel in space, I want to crack a cold one and explore space and that is just not there. You can explore planets and that is amazing, but I really thought I would be able to explore the universe and that is just not possible.

While Starfield did not live up to my expectations as a huge fan of every previous Bethesda RPG since Morrowind, I still had a good time with it and put in 150+ hours. It definitely suffers from being too big and relying on procedurally generated content on barren planets that is far too repetitive, which makes all that big empty space seem much smaller, and worse, completely not worth the time to explore. The main plot-line is fine but too linear, and there isn't nearly the same freedom to roleplay as there are in the Elder Scrolls or Fallout series, and your roster of available companions are all very one-note and tonally similar. You could technically live out your fantasy of being a space pirate, but the penalties for doing so make it pretty pointless, without any rewards to counterbalance those penalties. Shipbuilding is incredibly flexible but there's nothing to actually DO with your ship once you've built it, since you can (and probably should) just fast travel from planet to planet to avoid the myriad unskippable load screens when you enter your ship and select your destination. There's room for the game to grow and improve with future updates, but sadly right now, it's a misfire. All that negativity being acknowledged, if you enjoy this style of RPG it is still probably worth your time, especially with the recent major patches, addition of mods on console, and the upcoming DLC. The combat is the most refined Bethesda has ever had as well, so while not being up to par with your AAA FPS games like Halo or CoD, it's still very good and a huge improvement over the likes of Fallout 4.

    Cool Steelbook, Decent game!!!

Steelbook is very clean with sharp aesthistics and perceived depth within its design yet it's a very boring steelbook and just Decent. This essentially describes Starfield as a whole. Unlike many, I was able to participate in the early access period. I also preordered in order to take advantage of the free 1 month Gamepass subscription bonus which I applied to 12 month of Gold to convert into 9 months of gamepass ultimate. If not for this, I would have regretted this purchase as I lost interest real quick in Starfield due to the lackluster main quest and plethora of forgettable side quest although faction question can be thrilling. The biggest nail in the coffin is the handicapped exploration, outdated animations, disappointing space travel mechanics, safe unoffensive no-depth writing, and the lack of oomph behind any accomplishment in this game. I mean I receive space powers and it appears the game, my companions, and Betheada don't even care. Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty in comparison is a better purchase. With that said, the game is not bad whatsoever. But we know that games like this have more riding on them than other releases and based upon those merits, this game does disappoint. But rated within its own vacuum, the game is enjoyable and awe-inspiring at times, but definitely leave a lot to be desired.

Pointless in purchasing from here when you wont be receiving 5 day early access and each agent guarantees an email with a early access code the 1st but then claim the on that day they won't send it but Bethesda and xbox/Microsoft will LEGENDARY bestbuy purchase

I purchased this preorder back in July for September launch. I bought it primarily for the 5 day early access to the game. Best Buy really dropped the ball on this one, shipping it late and slow. It actually won't arrive until after the main public launch date of the game, nullifying any chance of early access. What is the point of offering early access if you don't provide the product in time? Very deceptive. After realizing I was being screwed by BB, I ordered from a competitor with prime shipping and got it next day. I'll be returning this to BB and this will be my final business dealing with them.

Thank you Microsoft for steel book and dlc extra. I like the concept. Don't care about 5 days early access. Would be nice if all exclusives came with steelbook and DLC add on. Can't wait for physical disc on Wednesday.

I pre-ordered this edition for the 5 day early-access, in addition to the physical goodies rather that you cannot get through Microsoft. Who's bright idea was it to SHIP THE ACCESS CODE??? The incompetence is insane on this one. One of the most highly anticipated games so far this decade and they botch it like this. We should ALL be getting refunds. Absolutely absurd. And the worst part is that the email to redeem Gamepass access came immediately but the code for the game is in the package?! And they got shipped so they'll arrive at best, 1 day early if we're lucky... WORST BUY!

Purchased to get the steelbook and the early access as I have game pass for the game itself. Unfortunate that there wasn’t a version that came with the disc, but at least I can snag the disc eventually at a reduced price.
