The open world play is a great concept for kids they can explore forever making it a great value for the money.

Solid flight shooter experience on the Switch. The Star Fox storyline was short but fun. New DLC is coming out soon as well. I beat the game in about 15 - 20 hours with much exploration. I did not complete all tasks but feel I was satisfied with the game in all. I would definitely wait to buy at a sale price point and the game does work in had held mode rather well without the toys or on the TV with a pro controller without the toys too.

Starlink is amazing. The story is intriguing and the toys to life aspect makes the game that much more fun! highly recommend.

This was purchased as a gift for a young gamer. I've never been a huge fan of the games-as-toys line of marketing but what Nintendo has done here is hard to ignore! Packaging Star Fox and friends in to the extensive degree they have makes this 'the' version to have if you're taking the plunge. Gameplay is simple and fun and will provide many hours of adventure. Star Fox and friends are really the only extras I might recommend, but I can see the allure if you have the disposable income.

Fantastic for the price. Switch version is the best due to the model you get alone. Gameplay is really solid.

This was on sale and I ordered online for my 6 year old grandson. From all appearances the game looked to be a lot of fun. Well, as we live in different states, I wrap Christmas presents and ship them to the kids. What a bummer when my grandson opened the box, loved the characters but there was no game! Fortunately, the local Best Buy took care of the situation but Grandpa hasn't heard the end of it yet!

This game is very solid on it's own. Adding Star Fox on top makes this game an absolute blast and a great purchase for any Nintendo fan. You don't need to use the toys which makes the game nice to play in handheld as well. I would take a star off for multiplayer because it isn't great. Coop is tough because you have to stay close at all times and it gets confusion. However, the game gets a star back because the Arwing toy is fantastic with movable wing-thrusters. Very happy with this game.

Can't complain because i got it for less than ten dollars. This game unfortunately didn't do very well, but its still pretty good. Especially the switch version because of star fox, i definitely would not buy this for any other system. The AR wing model is really nice and well made, and the figures are decent as well. Kind of like no mans sky, ut more focused and less open.

This game was quite fun for both myself and my son. He always wants to play it now after trying it once. It's definitely a good buy and reminds you of a No Man Sky like game. If it's on sell I'd definitely recommend the purchase. I really don't know how the game didn't gain traction. P.S. You don't have to connect your joy-cons to the ship. All ship items are digital as well which is how my son and I both play. The ship is a cool statue to look at though!

Got this on sale and i can not be happier. If your a huge fan of Star Fox, it is a must have. Add to the collection ASAP!

I’m a Star Fox fan, so getting a model Arwing for display is a nice perk. The game itself does not require you to use the physical starter pieces to play, but it’s fun to have it in front of you if you are playing from your couch for a while. I ended up placing the Arwing in display and play the game entirely digitally. The game itself is okay. Missions get a little repetitive, but it’s fun nonetheless.

I bought this on sale, as I wanted the figures and ship for my shelf. The game is very locked on content, as it requires the purchase of other ships/figures. The digital version has all of it unlocked. I ended up returning it. The ship looked cool, but the figures were poor.

While I'm sad Nintendo hasn't made a standalone Star Fox game for Switch yet, this is a must-have for Star Fox fans. The quality of the toy itself is very high, and the functionality to add Fox McCloud and all his catchphrases and charm to the Starlink game makes the Nintendo Switch version significantly better than the versions found on other consoles. The game itself is quite fun, lots of planet exploration.

The Switch version has the lowest graphical fidelity over the XBONE and PS4, however you get a fair amount of unique content to make up for it, and honestly if you don't look up a comparison you probably won't notice. Gameplay is simple yet satisfying, trying out ship/wing/weapon/pilot combos is engaging for a while. Keep in mind you need to buy 4 other packs minimum if trying to 100% the game using physical components. The Arwing and Fox are worth it, they look so great on a shelf.

This is the closet thing you can get on switch to an awesome Star Fox game and for only 8$ you can’t lose!

Don't confuse this with a StarFox game, even though he's in this version. It's nothing like StarFox. What it is however, is a very nice sci-fi/adventure/flight game with endless replay value. You get to fly all around the solar system and down onto the planet's surfaces with a supply of never ending missions. You can easily dump hours into this game without even realizing you've been playing so long.

The gane is really good and with the exclusivity with starfox it's a must! Very fun!

Starlink is a ho-hum toy-integrated game; not a new concept (does anyone remember Captain Power?), but this one is fairly well-done. But if you're buying the Switch edition, there's something special - the included guest character (and fairly well done fighter) results in a halfway decent unofficial StarFox game, something that the console has been missing.

Got this at a really good price. The game is fun, and having a cool Arwing makes everyone jealous of me.

I’m new to the Switch, but I’m an old hand at Starfox, so I was excited to check this title out! I’ve always been a fan of the look and gameplay of the original SNES game so I already felt the bar was really high—but I was not prepared for the quantum leap from SF to Starlink! I’m still getting used to variations in gameplay mechanics, scenarios, and weapons upgrades, but I’m truly enjoying learning, and just plain old ABSORBING this game.
