Gameplay is nice and smooth and feels like you are flying an actual aircraft. Not a fan of having to attach or detach weapons from the controller since you can simply play the game without using this feature. This is mostly done to market the game and create extra sales from "purchasing" more weapons. The game is fun though! Would definitely not pay the full $75 for it. I got mine on sale for $35.

This game is awesome and I love toys-to-life games. However, after purchasing the game I find that the peripheral toys have to be attached within a seven (7) day time span or their use will run out and you will have to do it again. If you buy the peripherals digitally there will be no problem in switching them out. Beyond that issue, the game is awesome and underrated.

If your like many you were probably left dissapointed by Starfox zero on the wiiu,this game does starfix right! And it isn't even a Starfox game the starfix content isn't only 3 missions ether it's a whole campaign with characters reacting and speaking to them enemies neven have their own recorded lines for fighting Starfox members. As everyone else describes this is no man's Starfox all the promises of no man sky worth stafmrfox how could it go wrong.

Great game for the price and for the collector. A must have for the true fan.

Even though I have the PS4 Pro & Xbox One X, I wouldn't buy Starlink for any other system other than the Switch because of the inclusion of Star Fox. This is a game similar to No Man's Sky & role-playing games where the tasks can become very tedious after a little while, but the graphics & gameplay are still very enjoyable. I'd like to see a sequel that offers ground combat outside of the ship.

My 5 year old son and I play two player on it and beat missions. Sometimes the plane controller and weapons are sensitive and when bumped are notrecognized, but once you get used to that it is not too bad. Game appears to have alot of missions and time to spend beating it all. Would not spend the full price o it, but got it heavily discounted, and worth that price.

For the price, you can't beat this Star-Fox game with hours of time to explore the universe

Eye candy for the Switch, decent gameplay, and makes you crave for a new entry in the Star Fox series.

This is a great game, love the extra stuff it comes with and caught it on a steal of a sale of $30!

This game looks cool and has some fun elements, but game play gets a little repetitive and sometimes objectives are not clear, which can be frustrating. I'm giving it 5 stars only because it comes with a real Arwing (the toy I've been wanting since I was 10!) and the Star Fox parts of the game are awesome. My kids also think it's really cool that you can move the spaceship on your controller and it moves the spaceship on screen.

My nephew enjoyed the game. It was on sale for $5 when I purchased it so I ended up purchasing 2 just in case a second player wanted to take part. On the switch, you can purchase all the add-ons digitally rather than buying the physical pieces. For those who aren’t familiar, this is similar to Disney Infinity where you can add different characters/vehicles etc to enhance game play. I would recommend!

Great game for die hard star fox fan. The ship is a plus. Cheapest toy game combo ever!!

Handles similarly to other ship combat games, but with a focus on open world planet exploration. You will travel around doing fetch quests and taking part in combat. There isn't any outer space flying in the early game yet, but maybe that comes later on. Lots of loot, upgrades and modifications you can attach to your ship. Has a simple but developed story mode.

It's a gimmick late to the punch with interactive toys with games but still fun.

This game does Star Fox justice. Gameplay and story are solid however the Star Fox part is very short. Once you finish the Star Fox story the main game becomes very repetitive very fast. It became a chore to keep playing it and for that reason I can't recommend it.

just picked it up and it was a steal on Best Buy for only $5.99!! really enjoyed it because it has the ability to play Fox from Star Fox. For me that is pretty much worth it and since i saw the reviews for different platforms this one was really the want to buy!! if you have a Switch do get it even if it is on clearance really worth it and my kids love to use the controller with the ship attach to it.

Often in space shooter games, you're stuck traveling a predetermined path. Not true here. You can pick which threats you take on, when and you can even modify your ship as you see fit with mods you earn in-game. Then of course there are the ships you can pay for (either physical or digital) and have every ship you've purchased with real money be available to use in-game. It's pretty stellar. Of course I only ever use the Arwing.
