This game is just plain fun. It has nice graphics and plenty to do. I believe the issue is that it was billed as a toys-to-life game, only, so people immediately compare it to the Disney games which is not really accurate. Not to mention, that this could have easily been a Star Fox game. If you like Star Fox, give this is shot, even if you don't play it on Switch. If you get it on Switch, it basically is a Star Fox game.

This is an excellent upgraded game from the original and great fun for the kids as well!

Great fun and the toys are pretty neat. But unless you get the add on toys for a really low price and the starter set for CHEAP, you'd save a lot of money buying the complete digital version. That way you don't need to keep track of the toys and you get it all at one purchase point. It is a fun game though for my younger kids.

This has been out for a while and I was late in the game with getting a switch. I used to play StarFox on N64 ages ago, so this is why I got this game. It's a huge game, but its kinda nice to get some starter Amiibo for this game. Controls are little complicated compared to a fighting game or sporting game unless flying games are your thing. It will take some getting used to but I like space themed games.

my experience with the game has been enjoyable thus far. it has the new style of gaming with exploration as well as rpg style, but with classic as well as new characters and fun callbacks. encourages you to explore regions and develop in-depth knowledge of game locales. plus, the new nintendo-style figurines and attachments for gameplay encourage experimentation with new ship weapons and pilots, albeit at a monetary cost

Good price on sale for a started pack. Wasn’t sure if I’d play this often but for under $10 I figured I’d give it a shot and add to my switch collection. I think it’s a cool idea but since I don’t usually play my switch in docked mode I don’t know how often I’d actually be using the “toy” parts. If u can get this On sale id recommend to just grab it.

I got this game for my son for Christmas. It looks to be good quality. The toys that come with it are for the game as add on's for you characters. It is not necessary to have but give you a bonus in the game. If you are afraid your child may lose the parts you can download the application to the the Switch from the market place instead of buying a disk copy. Also there are some benefits of going digital copy versus disk.

Really fun game especially for 10 bucks on sale can’t beat it.

For the like, $5 I paid for this game it's definitely a steal. It does have that typical Ubisoft open world feel where there's not too much interesting to do outside the story itself, and the game can feel repetitive, but having Star Fox in there is awesome. I would love it if Nintendo came out with an open world Star Fox in a similar vein.

I have not played much of the game itself. I admit, I bought it on sale just for the Arwing itself. That being said, the game is a pretty good As a spiritual successor to StarFox. (Peppy’s comment at the beginning is great). The games use of a docking port (for the ships) is a bit annoying as one would need to play using a tv or disconnected from the switch.

The game it self reminds me a cross between star fox and no man sky. It uses toys such as space crafts in which makes it interesting. In which it has a split screen mode for 2players co op. There is an additional ship with this version as free dlc. The only complaints the action figures seems way to small and no motion controls which is a bummer with the ship attached.

First, I got this for like $10. For that price, it's an AMAZING steal. The gameplay is really fun, and the openness of it is quite amazing for a Switch game. It has really good looking graphics, and it has the Arwing and Starfox! I'll be honest, that's the reason I bought it. It does get somewhat repetitive and the parts where you have to fly through space can get long and frustrating (especially space battles, I struggle to enjoy those), and my main frustration with it is the gating of things. You have to buy new pieces to get everything. It wouldn't be a deal breaker, because I got a bunch of that on super clearance, but you have to rescan it once a week to keep it unlocked, and that's just super lame. If I had known that, I would have just bought the digital deluxe edition, but then I wouldn't have gotten the arwing...so...yeah.

The game is a lot of fun. You can take apart each plane and add it to others you purchase.

Fun game but 1 ship is a life so it should come with at least 2 ships.

Fun game with nice graphics, love exploring the planets and seeing all the different creatures. The figures are nice as collectibles and you don't HAVE to use them every time to play with those specific weapons/ships in game. You can just use them to unlock the stuff in digital mode and play that way, which is a nice option if you'd rather not have to mess with the pieces every time.

I'm like MOM! Look at this... a new spaceship toy! And then I'm like oh WHAT!? IT COMES WITH A VIDEO GAME. I LOVE video games. Now Mom HAS to buy this for me. So I plug this bad boy in and i'm flying my space ship... pew pew pew!!!! And this toy is so rad. and I'm flying and I'm shooting and I'm like... SERIOUSLY I LOVE YOU MOM. Best plastic toy based spaceship shooting game i have EVER played (on the Switch).

What can I say? I am a sucker for anything Star Fox, I would not even cared about this game if it werent for the add-on of Fox in the game. I am glad they added him since the game is great. The toys are a bit of a turn off that you need to buy the phyicial toy to get new weapons or ships but aside from that the gameplay is great. Also a steal at $6 (current sale of this writing)
