purchased this game because it had star fox for my switch. overall the game is fun. lots of side missions but the downfall is the toys to life aspect. you will probably want to buy additional ships and characters so it will cost more money. luckily the base game is usually on sale

While this is not technically a Starfox game, it does include Starfox on the Switch version and the entire game can be played through as Fox in his Arwing, which is exactly how I played it. This has a very solid foundation for taking Starfox in a new direction and I hope Nintendo and Ubisoft team up for a legit Starfox game from this same team.

Closest way you'll play as Star Fox in a video game, at least for the forseeable future. Switch version is the way to go for nostalgia purposes and the game isn't half bad either. A little different than the old Starfox games, but it is it's own game. Give it a chance and you just may become hooked!.

This game came as a bonus (free) with my son's console purchase as a promotion for Christmas. I didn't think he'd like it, little did I know, he said this was the best game he'd played in a long time. He loves the pieces that connects to the controller giving it a more realistic feel when playing the game.

Fun little game that features the Starfox characters in the Switch version. I just wish that Nintendo would actually develop a game that features those characters because it's been far too long since we've got a proper Starfox game.

Having been a long time gamer I wasn’t sure what to expect since my standards are higher than most people. It is a great, fun, and solid game. I would recommend this game to anyone. The only real issue I have with it per se is the cost of additional weapons, characters, and ships though the game comes with 1 ship, 2 weapons, and 2 characters.

Don't bother with the other versions of this game. Being able to play as Fox McCloud is the best way to play this game! It is a shame as of now we do not have a Starfox game on the switch but this will keep you busy until that day comes. The graphics are great and the game play is very addicting!

This was a great little game that features Star Fox from back in the day. It is a really fun game and is actually very much like an old school Star Fox adventure and I really can’t think of anything negative to say about it. I recommend it to anyone who loves those old games!

The game is a lot of fun and is very much a Ubisoft open world game. Can get to be pretty repetitive but there is enough to do to make things interesting. This version is cool but the digital version comes with all of the ships so if you care about that you should consider the digital version.

Great for playing Starlink on the go, but when hooked up to a big screen don't expect XBONE or PS4 level graphics. Bought this for my son, love playing StarFox (only available on the switch) and it is great entertainment on the go. The models are nice and the game has an interesting story so far.

This is the star fox game for the switch that we’ve been waiting for except if you like RPGs it’s even better. You can level up your ship, explore planets, scan wildlife, gather materials. It’s no man sky meets starfox. The story and cutscenes are good too. Snow drop engine. Same as the Division.

Hey, at $5.99 this is a steal! It's definitely a fun game, don't get me wrong, but at the current price of under $10, this is a must own. Great action, good graphics, cool story. If you like Starfox than this is a must have. I didn't buy any of the add on toys, but if you do those have dropped to $2-$3 as well.

This is a pretty good game that reminds me a bit of Starfox on N64 and No Man’s Sky mixed together. The Starter pack comes with a bunch of plastic doodads you don’t need (I threw most of them away) but the Switch version comes with a surprisingly nice model of Starfox’s ship

The game is a lot of fun to play and fairly simple. Any can play it and it has star fox. I'm glad I got the toys versions, but they are a bit of a hassle. I wish it came with actual digital versions of each toy physically purchased istead of temporary unlock. I don't regret it tho.

Honestly most people probably would think this game is to repetitive and their absolutely right however for some reason it didn't bother me at all. StarLink has tons of things to do story could be completed in a small amount of time or if you choose to explore the worlds and mostly all of what it has to offer you could be looking at 20-30 hours. The Starfox content is neat but fairly minimal being only around 1-2 hours long. Total of around 7 planets Moral is get ready to rinse and repeat because anything that you've seen on one planet is repeated in every other planet (all the game has to offer). Didn't bother going into the toys to life because this game can be completed without it although you'll find you can't do everything (open a certain container for currency) Story is fairly simple. Villain is Weak and Characters for the most part are uninteresting. They are adding some DLC in a few months that adds more StarFox content. Not sure if it's free or not but i'd assume it would be.

How could you have a Nintendo product without a Star Fox to go along with it. I personally grew up with Star Fox and I'm glad my family has the same opportunity now! Fox McCloud is back in a new take on the old classic. A game for any age and a perfect first game for us!!

If you’re into star fox and collectathons/completing games then this ones for you. It’s great in that regard, if you want a fast paced game with minimal repeating elements then I would pass. Plays like a Ubisoft game but seamlessly entering and exiting space never gets old.

I know Starlink is bigger than Star Fox, but his addition makes this game a must buy for the Switch. You get the added content of his ship, weapons and character plus the story line includes his fleet of members. The game is rather large open world, that can get repetitive at times but I am still having a lot of fun playing.

Best Starfox game. Buy this it's cheap and awesome
