Starlink is a fun, story-driven gaming experience!

The kids loved the game, it's a big hit in our home (we're a family of gamers). They already knew about the game from watching a popular YouTuber share about it.
So there are these controller snap-on attachments that sync with the game, and then there are interchangeable weapon blaster options where you can pause the game by simply removing and replacing the weapon attachment. The graphics are really impressive!
After playing for a couple of hours, we enjoyed Starlink's story-driven type of gaming experience. The story is about space exploration with various types of characters and the villains are trying to take over the galaxy. We battled with villains on other planets in the galaxy and it was up to the players (us) to defeat and stop the villains. It's definitely an action packed more strategic type of game filled with hidden adventures that all ages in our home enjoyed.

Kids Rate Starlink Battle for Atlas Amazingly Fun

Our kids love Starlink Battle for Atlas! The action and adventure in each quest are spectacular. The levels are tough, but not so tough as to discourage young players. Plus, they love the open world-play and the opportunity to each create a custom starship that they love.
Our kids also fell in love with the Crusher Weapon Pack including two weapons, the Crusher and the Shredder Mk. 2 weapons. While the crusher is designed to create gravity wells around its targets before crushing them and pulling in nearby projectiles for extra damage, the Shredder Mk. 2 continuously fires projectiles damaging enemies when they are at their lowest strength.
Starlink Battle for Atlas even features a two-player, split-screen, capability making it the perfect game to gather your team and set out to defend the Atlas Star System.

Fun For Family Gamers

Whether you are a gamer family or a parent of gamer kids, this is the game for everyone!
The fact that you can make each starship uniquely your own with the different accessories makes this really fun for our kids ages 6 and 10. (let's not forget Dad, he really had fun with it as well!) They really love seeing their custom ships being played in the game. It's nice that it can be played as a single player, with partners or co op.
I like that it is not difficult to get the hang of and since they have played similar games, got to be pros in no time. I like that it is not impossible but challenging enough to make it worth the battle!
We got the starter pack, Lance, Imploder, Hunter Hakka Sharship Pack, the Pilot Levi McCray and the Crusher, Shredder MK.2 Weapons. which made it a lot of fun to customize, mix and match and try new configurations.
I really like that the pilots, starships and weapons are not too expensive so we can add on to what we already have to make playing Starlink battle for atlas an even more fun experience for our whole family.

It’s fair to say that my family is really into technology, electronics, and gaming. Even the grandkids are joining in some of the online games with their cousins, friends, and even aunts and uncles! I certainly wanted to be prepared this holiday season with the latest and greatest since we’ll be hosting everyone at our home! So thanks to Best Buy, we’re going to join the fight with Starlink: Battle for Atlas, on the PS4! It’s a wonderful space action-adventure game where you build and control your own spaceship, bringing it to life on the screen. I’m already mastering the skills I’ll need to help teach the kids how to play if they don’t know already!

Canon loved how the pieces go on the handset and when you turn you turn the craft. He thought that was pretty cool and fun.
I’m impressed on how affordable the entire line is including the main starter pack. I’ve seen some games that are priced at $100 or more, but the Starlink at Best Buy is under $40 with most of the accessories being under $15 and some under $5!

I just want to start this out by saying I have never played a game like this before. I was a serious skeptic because of the controller add-ons and the interchangeable parts.
I have to say, it's awesome. It's so much fun to have the physical parts to change around for optimal gaming experience. The visual effects in gameplay are great!! It's fun and I think any gamer would like it.

Features we love:
Mix and match pilots, ships, wings, and weapons to fully customize your dream starship. This makes the possibilities almost endless for hours for unique play!
Instantly see changes that you make to your physical ship get applied in-game- my son loves this!
Build your own play style with unique pilot abilities and weapon configurations to overcome deadly challenges. The more weapon configurations, the more challenges, the more fun!
The starter pack includes a controller mount, which allows you to connect your starship and pilot your controller. Mix and match weapons, pilots, and starships and watch the seamless transition happen in-game. You can purchase additional physical Starlink: Battle for Atlas starship, weapon, and pilot packs at participating retailers.
This is a great game for kids of all ages! It’s a safe game environment for kids but has challenges that teens will love

Starlink for PS4 - Noah's New Addiction!

Starlink, the Battle for is a new game for the Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. With Noah having all 3, we went for the PS4 as that is the system he plays the most. This game is launching in an Real toys that play era being similar toy-enabled titles like Skylanders, Disney Infinity and even the Lego Dimensions craze. So it may be a tad of a risk, since most of these have faded into the gaming black hole, but I see a huge craze for this one as My son is already asking for another, so his sister can play with him too.

Like a great animated film from the 2000s, this game can entertain both young and old. With great action and fun (albeit repetitive) gameplay and couch co op, this is a game that you can play with your kids any no one will get bored. The collecting aspect is really fun too, though I think the toys will get harder to find. This game takes the best parts of starfox and makes it open world!

This original IP developed by Ubisoft was designed as a space exploration shooter and while it fits with the Star Fox theme that it has on the Switch, plays and works great on the PS4 or Xbox One. The game allows you to use physical characters and vehicles that snap into a controller accessory, or play digitally if you prefer. The base game can be played without anything connected, though if you buy physical toys you'll need to slot them in every seven days or they'll become unavailable. The best value is in the base game, though the digital deluxe pack is well worth the cost and adds a lot to the base game. Though there is something fun about slotting in ships and characters to your controller and seeing them light up. So again, if you enjoy games like Star Fox, No Man's Sky, or even StarLancer this game will not disappoint.

I purchased this starter set so that I could own the Zenith physical ship and complete the current line of Toys-2-Life with my Nintendo Switch starter set. The game is fun, but a little short with being able to beat the main campaign in less than 20 hours. Couch co-op is enjoyable, with limitations that include having to be near your teammate in game. Some graphics (water), and draw distances are improved on PS4 versus the switch. Great gameplay with cool toys that open the future of this franchise to many fun and exclusive possibilities.

This game is a lot of fun to be so casual. You basically collect resources to upgrade and accomplish missions to advance the story. The interchangeable parts can be purchased as digital DLC, so you do not need to purchase them unless you are a collector. You can purchase all of the DLC together at a massive discount to purchasing the parts individually.
Overall great game for kids and parents to play with their kids without great challenge.
