    Huge issue with the starter pack not coming with the actual game disc. I'm actually returning it for the 2nd time as I sit and write this.... bought it once, no game. Returned it, they mailed me another.... no game again

    Doing a Skylanders type of an IP with ships has a smart angle to it, but the game is relentlessly mediocre - nothing is bad, but nothing stands out either. The ship construction on the controller is initially a novel idea, but it quickly degrades due to the extra weight it puts onto the controller. All of these things could be better done at the press of a button. I got rid of my copy of the game after a couple hours of trying to enjoy myself. Pass.

    The starter pack includes everything you need for a fun experience. The Story is good. The game play is fun. You don't necessarily need to buy any extra packs to beat the story. Buying different ships/weapons will help you during certain missions. I bought a few other ships/weapons and I found it fun to switch stuff in and out without any hassle. I also liked that a 2nd player can join the game and use all the ship and weapons you have used before.

    Starlink:Battle for Atlas is an interesting and fun game. I have always enjoyed shooters... and space games. This one fits the bill. And my boys, and even my husband enjoy it too. The ability to swap out ships and weapons with toys at any time during the game makes it even interesting. And the story and graphics are good.
