This Wi-Fi system was super simple to set up and instantly made a noticeable difference in my connection speed. The signal reaches every corner of the house, even areas that used to be dead zones. Streaming, gaming, and working online all run smoothly now with no buffering or dropouts. The design is compact and sleek, and it has been completely hassle-free since installation. Excellent product for the price. I wish I had upgraded sooner!

The Starlink Mini system has so far proven itself to be a fast and reliable Internet option, being able to work almost anywhere there is a clear view of the northern sky. The Mini model is fairly compact and easy to set up.
Cons: The included power cable is fairly long but somewhat flimsy, and I'm not sure I would rely on it for a permanent installation.
The Mini is not capable of being powered over Ethernet on its own like some of the other models, but this can be worked around with some additional third-party hardware.
I would recommend looking into an PoE++ Injector and outdoor Splitter to be able to run power and network over a single ruggedized ethernet cable. (I've seen the power usage level about 30W, but it pulls more when its melting snow off the receiver and it's technically rated at 60W, so basic PoE or PoE+ devices won't cut it. You'd normally need at least 802.3bt PoE++ injector/switch and splitter, but I did find one PoE injector/splitter set that uses its own proprietary method that seems to work and was quite inexpensive.
This is a very viable way to get a fast and reliable Internet connection where there may not be cell coverage or any landline ISPs available.

Easy to set up. Able to play games, watch tv, and work on laptops at RV sites. But has trouble in RV sites with a lot of trees still able to watch tv and work on the laptops but not so much playing games.

Holy smokes!!! Best invention EVER! I travel all over the country with my Mini Starlink. I have internet in the car, on the boat, and I have recently started using at home for internet! Its perfect. Bought a little back pack for it and Starlink Mini travels everywhere with me! Well worth it! Just do it!

We purchased the mini to use in our camper while traveling and staying at remote locations. We set up our Starlink at the house, which only took a few minutes, before we began traveling. It was easy to setup and we had no problems getting connected while camping.

I have used this several times and the fact that the router is part of the unit makes less mess when traveling. Speeds are very good and the plan is cheap if you select the right plan

Great product for our RV travels! Bought it at Best while on a trip, and began using same day. We ordered online a day ahead and picked it up as we traveled through La Quinta. It got great connection everywhere we went in the Southwest, never failed. Fast speeds too.

This product is changing lives. The ability to go on the road and connect for work or connect with family while in remote locations is a game changer. Easy set up... follow the directions. It's idiot proof. All you need is open sky. Those that complain can't seem to understand this concept... direct satellite exposure needed. It's not that comllicated.

Super easy to set up and I was surprised how quickly it got a signal that was good enough to get online. Got a battery that can run it all day for our needs too. Awesome!

I recently picked up the Starlink Mini — and I’m absolutely blown away. The portability is a game-changer: it’s compact, lightweight (fits easily in a backpack), and much easier to set up than a traditional satellite dish.
Once powered up, the internet performance is impressive — I’m getting fast, stable download speeds (enough for 4K streaming, video calls, and remote work), even in remote areas without cell service.
The built-in Wi-Fi router makes setup a breeze — no extra equipment needed. Great for van-life, road trips, or remote cabin use where you want reliable internet without complicated installation.
Power efficiency is another standout — it runs on modest wattage, so pairing with a portable battery or solar panel is realistic for off-grid setups.
Overall — if you want dependable internet anywhere, whether you’re traveling, living on the road, or just need backup connectivity — the Starlink Mini delivers. 5 stars all around.

I used this in the mountains of Montana. Unfortunately, I had to bring my work with me on an Elk hunt.
This device is very easy to set up and worked as should without any hiccups! I could have spent more time setting up in an open area but didn't.
Besides bringing work with me, I disliked that my hunting buddies were on multimedia platforms while sitting around the camp fire at night.

This is a good little unit other than the extra monthly cost but $50 isn't so bad. I take it camping with me and so far unless I am in thick trees it works quite well. Especially for having cell service. This is probably dependent on location as we seem to have good Starlink here in Oregon. I think users are going to have different experiences based on their location. For me it was worth the risk to try and it is working. Its roughly the size of a note pad and easy to transport. I probably need to look at amazon for a case to store it when not in use.

Let me start out by saying, this is my second Starlink product. I used the original as home internet from 2020 (initial beta tester) until late 2023 when we got fiber to the home.
We bought this for travel as we go to remote places with no cell towers and I own a small business. This is easy to set up and get up and running. It fits in a small laptop carrying case for protection when not in use. Speeds vary and have gotten up to 300MBs. I do suggest if you use it sparingly to boot it up and put outside monthly for updates and before you go on the road. It will save you a lot of hassle.

I had 2 reasons for my change.
Dismal high speed DSL at my location with only one choice for internet. A good day was 4mbps download, but it did work.
Second reason was for internet access while on the road whether business or pleasure.
Even with some tree obstruction my download right now is 218mbps and 26mbps upload.
Quality: extremely impressed with all components.
Setup: Very easy and straight forward instructions.
Billing and account access: Super straight forward and easy to understand and make changes.
I wish other companies operated like this!!!

The portability is one of its best features. It’s lightweight, easy to pack, and works great in remote areas where traditional internet options are unreliable or unavailable. Even in challenging weather, the connection stays stable.
