If you're very handy and know your way around a home improvement store, just make your own mount. These aren't the sturdiest materials and don't offer a ton of flexibility for different scenarios. If you've got a basic install and don't feel like DIYing, it's fine.

It was so easy to order from Best Buy and the item was delivered about 2 days later.

While the adapter fits perfectly onto the Standard dish, there is not enough diametral surface area to securely hold the dish onto a pipe or pole properly. It is very easy to remove the adapter and dish from a pole using very little force. I would be afraid that a good gust of wind, or a bird perching on the dish, would be enough to cause movement or break away from the pole. This item needs to be redesigned for proper fitment.

The new model is deeper mounting hole with two support screws. The one they are advertizing as latest model is the older model with one screw that only grabs the pole 1/4” from the end. Do not trust a company that is trying to sell off old inventory before updating. Now I have to go through the trouble of ordering a new one from starlink, that is actually the LATEST model with two screws. Then remount the darn thing and return the current mount to BB.

The design of the product is poor from the jump. Mounting a $500 satellite with a single clamping point doesn’t fill me with confidence. I managed to make it work in the mean time by beveling the edge of the pole to secure it further. I would look toward other pole adapter options.

It worked exactly right. I didn't install the part.

Not heavy duty if your are looking to put it up in the air.
