Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Standard Actuated Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System's ease of use and quick setup as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights strong performance, particularly for streaming and gaming, along with excellent signal strength. However, some customers find the price to be high. While occasional downtime is reported, it appears to be infrequent for most users.

    $100 off made me buy

I dislike paying that kind of money for thr dish and router, but Im limited in my options. So when ot was marked down $100, I decided to give it a go. I have it mounted on my garage, the only spot on the property with any clearing. While it still tells me Im obstructed, it does give me a strong enough signal for internet and streaming. The only thing left to do is get the 150' cord to run everything correctly.

    Wonderful FAST Internet

After being a customer of frontier for almost 20 years and having horrible internet, I was super nervous paying the $600 up front for Starlink. I went ahead and did it and am so happy that I did! I live in the country and do not have alot of options when it comes to internet. Starlink is a GAME CHANGER! Don't think just buy, you'll be happy you did!

I live in a rural area and thought I would have to deal with slow speed internet from our cell phone or trash satellite option. I Didn’t really want to spend that much on equipment for it to fail but to my surprise it works great!! I can work from home download files, stream with no lag. Definitely recommend this is life changing.

Best internet option on the market for rural areas

If you live in a very rural area with only Satelite internet options, this will change your day. One price and uncap data at 100x the speed. I was using a cellphone as a hotspot after dropping the satelite internet but this option was still too slow. So switching to Starlink was a PLUS. Wish I had done the switch sooner.

I think the Starlink system is excellent! We use it in our RV and can get service anywhere. As long as you can see the sky. Also, you can turn the service on and off as you need. I would definitely recommend this for somebody who needs a mobile Internet system.

The set up purchase is costly and it’s more expensive then my previous option. But this is pretty much my only option now. It wasn’t too hard to get set up and it’s much quicker than my previous internet. And it has a built in heater so when it snows it still works!

Our internet is so fast now!! We live in a rural area and the internet was so slow that we couldn't stream movies or tv shows. Now we can get it all!! If you're thinking about getting Starlink, do it! You wouldn't regret it!

We went from viasat to starlink and the difference is amazing! Simple set up, We mounted ours on the gable using additional accessories but the equipment it came with worked well. We just wanted it on the house.

A Game Changed … but only af first

Living in a rural area, I was always frustrated by my lack of Internet options and tried literally everything over the last 20 years. For about eight months I was a very happy customer. Decently, fast speeds, no data caps, and a price comparable to mainstream cable offerings. Unfortunately, it all falls apart the longer you have it. Eventually, you will have an issue that will require the help of someone at customer support. Good luck getting said help. Mine went out in January and I ended up waiting almost 8 weeks before I heard back from somebody. There are no telephone support numbers to call and while you can track down people who work there using LinkedIn they will get back to you relatively quickly and tell you how much they do not care about the problems you’re experiencing with their product. Then, there is the equally frustrating part about the lack of a contract. Because there’s no contract, you are at the whims of Starlink, which, raised the price is three times while I used them without any warning and instituted a data cap without any warning either, which then disappeared a few months later. I was lucky that thanks to the world development grants fiber finally became available in my area a couple of months ago and I was able to drop Starlink completely. I will readily admit it was the best option at the time, but you need to know what you’re getting into when you purchase this product and sign up for, the offering.

I depended on AT&T for Wifi for years, but my homesite was really a dead zone and service was unreliable . It was my only choice ,though, as Cox wanted $5000 to bring a cable up my hill. [I live in a small grove.] LUCKILY , MY GRANDSON had me switch to Consumer Cellular , and for a year , My only wifi came from my Phone's personal hotspot. It worked well, but you couldn't walk away for 2 minutes without having to reconnect. STARLINK is a Godsend. Thank you BestBuy for having it in stock when my son was in town. He was able and happy to connect it for me. Now all my visitors and family can do zoom calls for business or just with friends. And I am amazed. I feel like I did 50 years ago when the rotary dial phones were phased out. Hallelujah.
