Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Standard Actuated Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System's ease of use and quick setup as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights strong performance, particularly for streaming and gaming, along with excellent signal strength. However, some customers find the price to be high. While occasional downtime is reported, it appears to be infrequent for most users.

I live an a very rural area that only allows for satellite or hot spots. I started with a hot spot it worked, but there was buffering, hot spot speed was 2 mbps. With starlink I get speeds up to 187 mbps. No more internet issue. Streams great, xbox live has no delay. I highly recommend. Very easy to set up. The only annoying thing is you cant order the mount until you start your service, however it makes sense because you need the dish and the app to figure out the best placement.

Super excited to have this product. It was easy to install. It needs to face north which we had to figure out. I ordered the wrong mount for it to face north. Best Buy said it was in stock and I had to wait an extra week for it to be in stock. That was frustrating as I needed to drive back to the location for this which is 2 hours away. It works well in rural Virginia, where we have no high speed internet.

Where to begin..I live in an area that currently has very few options for internet. Cable internet will soon be available and I’ll be using that, and because of that I have returned Starlink. The system itself is very easy to set up..getting an account set up is the hard part. That in mind, here’s a very important tip to anyone going down this road. If at all possible, create your account on an Apple device. You will be given payment options and one of those options will be Apple Pay. Use it! Debit and credit cards will work, but quite a few people (myself included) have had difficulty getting them to work. For some reason though, Apple Pay does the trick. As far as speed, reliability, etc, I would sometimes get speeds approaching 200mbs. Usually it was in the 100 range. This was with 25% or so obstructions (at first) which later got down to 10% or so after mounting the dish to a 20’ telescoping flag pole. I have a lot of trees around my house, and the higher you can get the dish over obstructions the better off you’ll be. It worked ok for streaming movies, YouTube, etc, but for gaming I experienced frequent interruptions. This is to be expected as the app will tell you how often you can expect service to be interrupted. It didn’t last long, a second or two, but it was enough to kick me off any game I was playing. I really will miss it, and really wanted it to work. If I didn’t need it for gaming I’d have kept it. I’ll be moving soon and should I be left with no internet service available, I’ll definitely buy another Starlink and set it up again. If you live in a remote area with few, bad, or no options for service, just get it. You don’t regret it but use Apple Pay!

The installation was very easy, and the dish auto tracks the satellites. We installed the ethernet adapter, so we could use our mesh WiFi routers, and it all works great. We’re very happy with the internet service so far. We stream all of our tv services, and have had zero problems streaming multiple devices at a time. Heavy storms, ice/snow has had zero effect on service (unlike Dish Network). Highly recommended!

bought it to mobile game in the car, wild how easy it is to set up. plug it in a Yeti500x and put it on top of the car. wifi in minutes with enough speed to play games and watch movies, video calls etc. it does need a clear view of the sky. If your living that type of life car camping/ van life its super nice if you like being connected. very pleased, pause and resume plan as well. $150 a month is a little steep but i get why.

This Starlink unit was very easy to install. My husband figured it out instantly and he’s definitely not “techie” We live out in a rural area and struggled to find the right internet choice for years! After many marginal choices, we are thrilled! I work from home and what a relief to finally have incredible speed! This far and away is the best choice. I highly recommend Starlink to everyone

I live in preston county wv and hugesnet is my only option for internet. Hugesnet sucks its not worth the money. Starlink is the best internet i have ever used. We watch Netflix on 2tvs, while our boy plays ps5 online with no issues. I would recommend this to anyone. Veys easy to setup. Just hook the cord to the satellite and it moves its self to find singal. Another cool thing is it will melt snow and ice off itself

STARLINK was the only provider that I could go to for reliable and fast internet. I live somewhere that doesn't have fiber optic internet. STARLINK was able to supply internet that rarely ever goes down, has amazing speeds for my location and the latency is outstanding. The only issue I do not like with STARLINK is it's router and having limited access to advanced settings, however you can bypass this with a 3rd party router.

I absolutely love Starlink! We have had it for a year now. We use to have Windstream in a rural area and it was AWFUL. Starlink is so reliable and dummy proof - you will not be upset swapping!

Starlink is an amazing product so far we have had it about 30 days fast reliable internet at a location no one else could provide it at least for the same price. Super easy and quick setup, and coverage is great in a 2000+ sqft home! The whole family has access to do what they need to from streaming to gaming.

Its been great having internet anywhere i go. I rv full time, and its great that i can pull over anywhere and have internet service. $150 might be a little steep for regular internet. But on the road its a good value. My speeds do range from 30 mbps to 200+. Id recommend this to anyone thats on the road fuul time, or lives in a rural area.

Starlink works as expected. The setup is very quick and easy, you just need clear access to the sky. The system literally manages itself. Speeds are reliably north of 100 mbps down and average 10 mbps up. Enough to handle most needs. The router functionality is pretty basic and, if you don't need advanced features, works well enough.

The Starlink system arrived in excellent condition. Installation was easy. The Starling cell phone application was great for setting it up. I now get internet downloads averaging around 100mbps. I can finally stream without seeing the blue circle on Prime, Britbox, and Netflix. Thank you Elon Musk for having a fantastic product.

We live in a remote location, with no other options for internet. We were able to get a good internet speed, for streaming, etc. it was easy to set up, it located the satellite by its self, and connection was solid. Router was easy to configure and integrate with our mesh Wi-Fi equipment. Have recommended this to several friends and they have purchased and set up with success also.
