Customers consistently note the Standard Actuated Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System's ease of use and quick setup as significant advantages. Positive feedback also highlights strong performance, particularly for streaming and gaming, along with excellent signal strength. However, some customers find the price to be high. While occasional downtime is reported, it appears to be infrequent for most users.

We live in a small rural subdivision with little prospect of ever getting cable. We have been living on marginal telephone WiFi for years. We installed our Starlink about a month ago and it’s like daybreak has finally come after a long, long night. One caution though about the Starlight kit: it doesn’t list how long the supplied proprietary cable is on the box. I was told by the salesman that it was 75 feet and that is what I needed to reach my clear-sky antenna location. Alas, the cable in the kit was only 50 feet. I was able to use it temporarily by routing it through a window, but I had to purchase a 75 foot cable from Starlink for our permanent route. I return to Best Buy and told the salesman about the problem - he was unaware that Starlink had changed the cable length in the kit. I understanding the first version of the kit actually came with 100 feet of cable; so Starlink has changed the cable length 2 times without warning.

Great for internet in the rural areas of California. Not quite At&T or the majors but will do the job. You will need to set it up yourself too so make sure you get all the documentation necessary.

I live in rural south west Iowa and have tried a couple other providers with nothing but issues and slow speeds. I’ve run a few speed test and have got nothing lower then 60mbps and regularly seeing over 100mbps. I would recommend this to anyone living in a rural area. Easy setup, had it running in less then 45 minutes.

We live up the canyon and do not get service. We heard about Starlink at Best Buy, so I paid them a visit. They helped me order Starlink and it showed up the next day! I was shocked at how fast it got to us. We were able to set it up and had it working the very next day. It was easy to install and set up and I really appreciate Best Buy for all of their help!

Very easy setup. Downloaded the app, set up an account and followed instructions to get a location with max satellite coverage. Was up and running in 15 mintues. At my cabin in the mountain, with no reliable internet service, it was a joy to get speeds upto 100Mbs downloads and 20 Mbps uploads.

Easy to setup and great service too. I work from home and have never been without service. With my previous ISP I was limited on multi-tasking while on Zoom meetings. Now I can be on my phone and a zoom meeting while also doing other things on my computer.

Was using an old school satellite internet system. Switched to Starlink and the difference is amazing. Can now work effectively from our remote, coastal property.
Regular 150mbps down.
Install easy though larger than usual hole in wall needed to run modem connection through.
Set up very easy. The dish takes care of that automatically.

Fairly easy setup it does about everything for you find the satellite I set it on the ground had better luck on a pole but 10 ft in the air just above the roof line some of the instructions could have been a little easier to understand using it with the Ethernet adapter which should come with it but it doesn't constant speeds of somewhere between 80 and 120 Mbps beats the heck out of AT&t wireless which kept going up and down on me you have a couple of times maybe an hour where the signal drops out or possibly 1 to 10 seconds other than that very pleased this is something that is going to be in pretty big demand as they expanded I hope the speed goes up in the price comes down the only I wish the price was a little cheaper for senior citizens per month hopefully the price will come down but the way prices are going up probably not very satisfied with it would recommend it especially if you live in a rural area where you can't get reliable internet service and it will do 4K TV P.S. There is nothing I don’t like, came fast, very easy to install- no expert needed- instructions were easy to read and follow, signal and performance is great, if anything bad is that when we have a storm you may loose signal for a few minutes but that is the same with any other satellite system. So that is why I gave it a five star review, value for your money sure up front cost may seem high but you have unlimited data and as many devices you can fit we have eight and can’t tell so there is no dialing down as I call

We’ve been using Starlink for a few weeks now. So far we are very happy. We live in a somewhat rural area. Our previous internet signal fluctuated between 2-4 mbps. (That is not a typo!)
Our typical household would have 1 movie streaming, 1 kid live gaming, and 1 on the internet. It was not working.
After sorting the logistics of installing the Starlink, we fluctuate between 100-600+ mbps now. Everyone is thrilled.
We live in SW Florida where Hurricane Ian kicked our tails last September. This is why our installation took a bit of thought. We wanted to be able to easily take the Starlink down with the threat of severe weather.
We are also trying out where to place the internal tower. We are currently trying the easy route without drilling through an exterior to interior wall. One kiddo (the gamer) at the back of the house has a great signal. The other does not. However she leaves for college in two weeks so I am not sure we will move it since it is working for everyone else. This is a 1200 sq ft single level ranch. The signal is currently penetrating three drywall/wood walls and a bookcase to get to her room. The gamer has only two walls to get through to the signal.

I recently purchased the STARLINK - Standard Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier with my experience!
The ordering process was seamless, and the delivery was prompt. The STARLINK system itself has exceeded my expectations. I appreciate the user-friendly interface that allows for easy customization and monitoring.
The range and speed of the Wi-Fi signal are impressive, providing seamless connectivity for all my devices. The device's sleek design also adds a modern touch to my home office setup.
Moreover, I must commend Best Buy's customer service for their responsiveness and assistance throughout the purchase process.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the STARLINK - Standard Kit AC Dual Band Wi-Fi System from Best Buy to anyone in need of a reliable and high-performance Wi-Fi solution. Five stars all the way!

With no communication where I’m at and being in a valley with only one cell tower somewhat close, without this I would be cut off from everything! Works awesome!! High speed internet out in the middle of nowhere! Works perfect!! Love it. Easy setup (but make sure you have internet by other means before setup to register!) and it works!!

Way better than bright speed Internet. I've had it for a couple months now still working pretty good even with trees around, just got to position it right and raise it up higher and it'll do fine. Speeds are great, sometimes acts up when big storms are around but it recovers like nothing happened. All in all id recommend it to anyone in the rural areas yes it's spendy but in the end it delivers the speed for the price of it.

Starlink is an amazing internet option for people in rural areas. It is super fast, easy to set up, and cheaper than other satellite providers. You can download 50 gig in about 2 hrs, and you can play online games!

I live in the woods in SE Missouri. Have to have satellite for everything. Starlink became available so I ordered and I'ts been working great even in a 5 inch rain we just had. I'm surrounded by tall trees so I installed about 20 + feet up on a pole 1 1/2 inch metal conduit. Had to slot out for cable and used two 1 5/8 inch muffler clamps to clamp to pole. Painted clamps for rust. There is only 50 feet of cable and I had about a foot left. That cable unplugs from the dish too easy so I double black zip tied it . I fastened that pole to the end of my shed and put braces on it because the wind blew it around. wish that router came with a rj45 jack had to order the rj45 cable off ebay for 25 bucks. I have not cancelled my hughesnet yet and the starlink is on when hughesnet has lost connection. in the process of hooking up phone and tv's to starlink. I have never had a pause in service and it is way faster. I'm going to hook a gigabit switch to it to run cables.
