I purchased it after they released the update to fix whatever issues folks were having, and I'm addicted. It's reminiscent of the first one, but gameplay is smoother and the graphics of course look far better. It's challenging but not hard, and well worth the money.

If survival and zombie games are your thing, this game is perfect for you. Not mush replay ability after you beat it as the missions are repetitive. I have fun playing it.

Really awesome and fun to play - you really get immersed in the game and the world. Can play online with friends. Who doesn’t love killing zombies.

Played the first state of decay for over 1K hours. SoD2 is just as great as the first. Has some minor bugs and issues but the new patch notes have addressed the issues as of this post.

I suppose it's obvious to compare this game to The Walking Dead, but it really is a great comparison. You're not going to discover the origins of the zombie outbreak or find a cure and save the human race; all you're doing is trying to survive. Build a community, recruit members, scavenge resources to keep the community and its members growing... and, of course, survive. There's a great atmosphere to the game. There's a fully realized world here (that's collapsed) that you can explore and salvage. And with different areas, and loads of characters to take control of and further their agendas, there's tons of hours and replay value here.

Amazing game! Very addicting yet satisfying. I would definitely recommend this to all of the gamers out there.

This game is great way better than the first one. Graphics and overall feel of the game is improved. And two games for the price of one is awesome

Definitely a must buy for those seeking to experience a true Zombie Apocalypse. How will you survive. Game has a few bugs but updates will fix that. Definitely a must buy for the price and fun factor.

Great game. Not for everyone. So do some research if you don't know. It is an older game but a fun open word type game. Got it for $20 or less. So definately worth it.

Loved to play the original over and over again. I haven't finished playing this sequel yet. But I like the fact that when you beat the game you get to take all your remaining survivors with you into the new replay of the game is awesome!! Being able to keep going and see how far a legacy you can lead is an inventive way to keep you going back again and again without getting bored. Would recommend this game for gamers that like games similar to Tropico and The Sims. You have control of characters as they survive a zombie apocalypse and have to collect resources to build up their communities.
