Customers consistently note the Aerox 9 Wireless mouse's lightweight design and numerous programmable buttons as significant advantages, frequently praising its responsiveness and long battery life. However, some users experienced issues with the scroll wheel and software, while others found the size or price to be less than ideal. The wireless connection was also a source of some reported problems.

This is the best gamming mouse on the market. The features are great and the side buttons make it a must have for any gamer. Cutting edge performance, the software is very good with everything well mapped out. The lighting effects are a nice touch.

Excellent multipurpose mouse. If you need something light enough for competitive fps but with enough programmable keys for MMOs and MOBAs, this is really the only option. Excellent build quality with TTC Gold Switches.

Pros: Comfortable mouse, good performance, and 0 issues with wireless pairing. Water resistant is a really nice plus, my last one died due to an drink accident.
Cons: Number pad is not adjustable, 123 can be hard to reach if you have a claw grip. Not cursor speed buttons are a big minus. It's pretty pricey, but hopefully that means good build quality and it'll last for a long time.

Great as a mouse, bad for mmos

This is a really strange product - on one hand, it’s extremely light and accurate, and is an objectively excellent regular mouse. On the other hand, the 12 key mmo pad on the side is very poorly designed. As opposed to most mmo oriented mice, the buttons are slow to click and have a very defined press to them, so you cannot actually use it comfortably in game. It’s more for if you are playing an fps game and somehow need 12 rarely used keys bound. Spamming buttons on the mouse is an ergonomic nightmare because of the poor keypad placement and the choice of click mechanism. I can use the mouse for approximately 30 minutes before experiencing enough pain from the poor ergonomics that I no longer want to use it - an issue that I have never had with the Razer Naga, Corsair Scimitar, or Logitech G600.
Considering only RGB features, weight, and standard mouse usage I’d give it a 5/5, but this product just doesn’t work as an MMO mouse. I’d still recommend the Aerox 5 or 7 for fps gaming.

Really wanted to like this mouse however, SteelSeries products just suck. Great design and look, super lite, however the software is just garbage, making functionality glitchy and Support is nearly non existent.

A bit biased since I love steel series. I got this mouse because I love having all the extra buttons. It feels good and has a good battery life.
My one complaint is that it has the holes in it. At first it didnt bother me but as I used it it started to get hair and dust inside. I wish steel series would make one without the holes. Other than that mo complaints.

Mouse is light and comfortable enough, however it disconnects all the time while in direct sight and within 1 foot of the dongle. As i bought is for gaming, waiting randomly 3 seconds for it to reconnect is not acceptable. I have triedball the suggested gixes and uodated all the druvers with no effect. It looks like this is a common issue. Side buttons are usable but not great, a coule of tactile pips on some buttons would have been great.

Mouse is and was great, I have two of them, but one the center wheel click started to not work. This is a common issue apparently. My newer one however does not have the issue so maybe they fixed it.

This review is now 7 months in the making. By the 3rd month of owning it I noticed that my connection was cutting in and out. Thought it may be a software issue. Up dated drivers and still I get drops from the mouse to the receiver. my scroll wheel sometimes doesn't work from time to time. I'm glad that there is a blue tooth option, no problems there. Hope I just got a dud.
Build quality is nice and how the 12 side buttons feel are a but too forward. I like how light the mouse and responsive.
