Great value, but louder than advertised

The wrist rest makes extended sessions a lot more comfortable, and the volume control being a wheel rather than buttons is very satisfying. Color selection is based on zones rather than individual keys, but the program is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. Potential buyers should be aware that the keys are absolutely not "silent". They're not loud enough to be distracting, but if you're not wearing headphones you'll definitely be able to hear them, so if you prefer silent keys I would recommend looking elsewhere. If noise isn't a deal breaker for you, this is a great keyboard for someone with a lower budget.

The backlight is very bright and the letters are extra large and easy for me to see now. I'm still learning how to use the software to get the most out of the board, and the steelseries website seems pretty comprehensive. I don't game too much on my pc, but I think would be a cheap, viable option for someone just wading in to gaming world. Very good value for the money spent.

Hobby Gamer/Streamer loves on SteelSeries

Typically I am a Razer Gamer and love Razer products. This keyboard has the same feel if not better to someone who has use everything from Razer Ornata Chroma to the Huntsman Elite. If you are wanting to try something new, or already a SteelSeries fan, this is a great buy.

Let The Games Begin!!!

It balances price with functionality. Beside the bells and whistles, he really likes the weight and feel as opposed to my laptop keypad. He has been putting it through the paces and it is still holding up, taking a gentle beating if there is such a thing. I took out the warranty anyway because it is a mechanical keyboard so anything can happen but it’s covered. Overall I rate this at the top for its price point and overall performance.

Does a great job

Does a fine job and to my surprise it has a volume mute wheel. My previous keyboard was non-wired and I couldn't keep up with the batteries it used.

Good keyboard with initial issue for KVM users

My only concern is when you are using a cvm switch, this can cause the keyboard to act uncontrollably (sometimes it is showing the same key in a textbox similar to holding a key down, sometimes it will not work including lights turned off). By searching the internet (sorry I can no longer find the original post for the solution) the solution is to update the driver in your windows system. Once you update the driver, it will work well even when you are using a KVM switch

Excellent Keyboard without breaking the bank

I honestly can't imagine how much better the keyboards that are double or triple the price can be. This has great response, and feels excellent to use.
