This is an excellent keyboard for the price. I can type fast on it without a lot of errors and I like the depth of travel. It's quieter than other keyboards I've used with the same feel. I really like that you can customize the colors using the software. I also love the volume control dial.

so far so good, had to replace another more expensive keyboard that had problems with the volume sporadically going up and down. This keyboard has been great. Definitely like the feel on the keys and the lighting is great.

Very solid keyboard. Feels very nice and while the wrist part is solid it's still pretty comfortable to use. Keys are nice and use membrane so there's no loud noise like with mechanical boards. If you're a sucker for RGB I'd go for newer Steelseries boards cause they do some crazy stuff but this is still a solid choice regardless

Curbside pickup was easy. Keyboard itself is well-built and has a good tactile feel. The wrist rest is comfortable although the magnets attaching it to the keyboard are a little week. It’s only a small issue if you Lift the keyboard often. The RGB lighting is bright and easy to customize. Overall great value.

It took me a while to find a compatible keyboard for the ps5, it works great, comfy, I like the floating key look, but it’s a little too plastic-y. Still recommend 100%

Great keyboard, and I really like the old school clicky keys. Lights are an added bonus. Occasionally the LEDs go wonky with the lights, but a reboot of the computer it is connected to fixes it.

If you are looking for a keyboard that feels like a mechanical keyboard without all the click-clack, this is the one for you. I picked it up to use in my office because I have the mechanical version of this at home. I wanted something that felt good and tactile but didn't irritate all the others that have to sit near me at the office. It's exactly what I was looking for.

This is my favorite keyboard to date. I've always been a mechanical keyboard guy and I've had about 6 in the past. I've gone through Cherry MX brown switches, red switches, red switches with O-rings dampners, and even silent red switches. They were all too loud. This keyboard feels as good as a mechanical keyboard without the noise. What sold me on this keyboard was the premium wrist rest. It's grippy and not cheap plastic. Looks amazing too.

Tried a HyperX keyboard similar to this one and this is by far dramatically better. I have had mechanical keyboards. I don't care about how loud they get. I was always okay with that. And I never understand this whole need to be quiet thing people always point out. Mechanical keyboards are not that loud. And if no one around you wants to hear them, they can leave. Enjoy your mechanical keyboard if you have one, regardless of who hears it. But this specific keyboard has no flex in the middle like the HyperX, has an excellent palm rest pad that has strong magnets, the keys have a great coating on them that provides a non slip, almost grip like feel to them when typing. I literally feel as if my typing has gotten more accurate from the first minute I started typing. The lighting is okay. I have seen brighter but it is more than enough at this price. It has a volume wheel, and a button that allows pausing. For 50 bucks, it is incredible.

Bought this when my $200 Corsair keyboard bricked due to bios update (all done through Corsair's own software). This keyboard showed me I don't ever need to blow $200 on a keyboard again. Sure, if you must have some rainbow flavor fruit-tree style keys, custom molded caps and individually selectable lighting per key, go look for money to waste, but this one does what I want it to. Keys were a little stiff at first, compared to my bricked one, but they are quiet and I don't accidentally activate them just by resting my fingertip on one. Lighting is simple but pretty. Keyboard has a nice heft to it, solid aluminum base and very plain but effective arm rest. No USB pass-through at this price-point but I can live without it. Bonus: SteelSeries' control software had updated bios available the day I got it and it did NOT brick the keyboard! All-in-all, I'm glad I learned my lesson, and this keyboard is a sweet (affordable) consolation prize. Best Buy's free overnight shipping (from regional store to my door) was awesome, too!

Good price and the keys feel nice. Not too loud but with good tactile feedback. Media scroll wheel for volume is nice and even though it only comes with one button the button does play/pause (click once), prev track (click three times), next track (click twice) without programming. You will need the steelseries software to program any macro keys or change the default RGB config from rainbow. This last bit is very annoying as the keyboard is quite functional without the steelseries software, except for the fact that you have to change the color. Since I bought the keyboard for work, I wanted to avoid the software if possible but was unable to due to default Judy Garland mode. Pretty poor design decision but otherwise the keyboard is very good for what I use it for (a lot of typing all day in office).

Such a fun keyboard to have, the lights are nice with plenty of ways to customize it with the steel series program! And the magnetic rest bar is nice so my hands aren’t reaching over the keys

To start, I have never written a review for anything EVER. I have purchased a lot of keyboards over time, a few that were $150+. This keyboard is by far the best typing experience I’ve had. I was a little hesitant at first because of the silent switches but man they feel good. Every key has a great feel and the letters on each key are large and well placed. For less than $50, this tops every keyboard I’ve bought. I would’ve easily paid $150 for it. To each their own but I think just about everyone will love the look and feel of this one. Oh and did I mention it had a wrist rest included?

Good keyboard. Bought this for my sons gaming PC and he absolutely loves it. It’s a good deal for the price. Comes with a wrist rest which is very important even for a kid, and it also lights up. Which will delight anyone who games, of all ages. For $50 pretty good deal

I've been testing the Steelseries Apex 3 RGB gaming keyboard for a few days and so far, my experience has been good. At first glance the keyboard looked a bit large but it's actually a standard size and shape. The keys are quiet and super responsive, key caps and wrist rest are nice and soft, RGB backlighting is vibrant. The plug and play setup was a breeze and the Steelseries Engine software made it simple to change the colors of the backlight, set the key bindings and change the polling rates which is great for aesthetics and gaming. It also included one of my favorite features which is the media control wheel. The only thing that I’m not a fan of is the extra springiness of the keys but, I guess that is the trade I have to make for them being quiet. With all that being said, this is still a great keyboard.

This is a solid keyboard that does everything it's supposed to. You need to download the software for it from the internet first. After that, everything is very straight-forward. The volume-scroller on the upper right is a nice feature. Only drawback is the caps-lock light placement behind the numlock key... which is basically invisible because of the raised keys. So entering passwords can be annoying if you don't know it's on.
