I was tired of using headsets that made my ears ache or my head sore… I decided to buy something comfortable. These are indeed lightweight, and the ear-cups are soft and breathable. I noticed the way the head band is set up stops any pressure on the top of my head, so no sore spots. It has a retractable mic, which I have not tried (I don’t use it). The audio quality is not bad, it’s above average for the price range this headset is in. If you need a headset you can wear for a long movie or game session that won’t empty your pockets, this headset fits the bill.

For the longest time I saw no need for a headset for my PS4 as I'm not an online gamer, despite the best efforts of my nephews so they could trash me in Fortnite. Then I started working from home and suddenly a headset was something needed. I have to say I have no regrets with this purchase. Works perfect for business Skype calls, great sound, I've had no complaints about the clarity of the mic, and it's comfortable. I've found I've started to prefer them when playing PS4 because of the great sound. Definitely recommend.

The Arctis 3's were a stop on my quest to an affordable but quality headphone with a built in microphone for my Series X. These were comfortable with nice breathable earcups and head band. However, the BIG drawback of this headset is the mic! It causes feedback from the headset audio to play back through your mic as well as if you have a ceiling fan it picks it up no matter the angle! It sounds like Darth Vader is in your game of CoD. Even using it with a Turtle Beach or Xbox chat adapter it still does it if you are speaking.

This headset is SUPER comfy & I like that the microphone retracts. It includes a 3.5mm audio connection so we’ve been able to use this with a PS4, XBox One, and an iMac with great sound and no issues.

The other reviews are right, every now and then I can hear small buzz during dialogue in my gaming and in some cut scenes that are quiet. Usually sorts itself out after a while or is fixed (for me) by readjusting the jack. Overall good sound, haven’t tried the mic, but overall sound is solid. Has a volume adjuster which helps for quick adjustments when gaming. Very comfortable. A little pricey imo but great starter headphones for someone looking to start upgrading their gear.

Really good headset. Just be careful with the aux piece. Pull from the hard plastic piece not the wire when unplugging.

Used mine for console gaming--comfortable during long sessions. Crisp, clear sound that isn't washed out by the bass. Excellent buy--grab it while its on sale for ~$50...!

I bought these headphones to use while working from home on my Macbook Air. The sound quality is excellent and they are super comfortable. Most headphones give me a headache after an hour of wearing them. However, I can wear these for 8 full hours of work without a problem. I use the mic when doing video conferences for work. The sound is crystal clear on both ends.

I love these headsets. They are very comfortable plus they work perfectly sounds great,light weight,noise cancellation. Would definitely recommend especially for the price.

Pretty Solid headset with clear audio. Lightweight is a really good bonus. The hideaway mic is great for when you don't need to talk.

Highly recommend! If you wear earrings, it might be uncomfortable but that really depends on how you wear it. If you have glasses like I do, these are really comfortable to wear with them! Since I have loose glasses, these headphones made them stay still. I really recommend if you are on a budget for a gaming headphone. My friends say my phone quality is way better but these are really decent! Overall, it is really easy to use! I was confused at first because it came with 2 wires.

Although this is a gaminc head set, it accomplishes everything I need it to do in great fashion. The audio quality is excellent. The microphone allows my voice to be clearly heard by my audicence. I've used sterophones all my life and these fit as comfortably as any nice pair I've had. They wear nicely as I use them between 5 and 7 hours per day. Taking them on and off. They're a great value for the spend. Don't shy away from them just because they are classified as a "Gaming Headset". I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We use these for our PS4. We previously used the expensive PlayStation ones that kept breaking on us and I had them all splinted and taped up to even use them. I wanted something cheaper this time around and we got the plug-in version(into controller). These things sound really good and are very comfortable for those long gaming streaks. Would recommend!

Really good headset, sound quality is good only issues is the cord will become tangled terribly bad.

So I bought these because apparently Bluetooth headphones are still not good enough for video games on PC . However what I found was that my favorite songs had so much more to offer my ears but were limited by my old Skullcandy Hesh 2 that I once loved to the end of the world. TRUELY FULL SOUND RANGE! I love the retractable mic because it makes this gaming headset a headset you can bring to coffee shops without looking like a telemarketer
