Good mic if it works

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t know if it was my PC, or it was a dud, but it worked for an hour, I tested out the mic in discord, my buddy was able to hear me, the headset sound worked just fine but the mic ended up stopping so I returned it as a trade in for the ELO 7.1 ROCCAT USB

The first one I had no issues with but on the second the input cable is very finicky. If I touch the port into the controller at all sometimes I lose audio in the headset. I'd honestly recommend spending a few extra bucks and getting a nicer headset. Clearly they lack some quality control.

Just, wow

I will say, the “sound” portion works great. The mic, however, has decided to just stop working all together. I tried all the support steps the Steelseries website had to offer, but to no avail. Also, an absolute joke that this happens 7 days after my return window ends. $60 down the toilet and a gloried set of wired headphones is all I have to show for it. To say I’m disappointed is the understatement of the year. Maybe you won’t have my experience, or maybe you will. Just remember this review before purchasing this device
