I purchased the arctis 7x about a year ago and loved it. I have a decent sized head around 7 3/8 on a hat and this one fits me just fine. I love this headset because my ears never get too hot like my old Voids did. Retractable mic is great as well as the type c port for charging. Would recommend to anyone.

2nd Steel Series headset I have purchased. This is the first wireless Steel Series that I have purchased. Very easy to set up. Clear audio and mic with no dropoff within 10-20 feet. Have been able to walk up to 30-40 feet without complete loss of audio. Very durable.

I've tried several other brands of headsets all purchased from BB over the years. All of their styles involve trying to put your head in a vice and crush your skull. The Arctis 7+ is by far the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. The sound quality and battery life is also good.

Very comfortable to use, with really good sound quality as well. They feel very sturdy and I like having the choice of wired vs wireless.
It comes with its own adapters and bluetooth device so there is no issue with needing to buy extra cables.
It also comes with volume controls and a button to turn the mic on or off.
If you have your mic on, you can hear yourself talking. Not in an annoying way, but more in a way that helps you know your own volume. This was a pleasant surprise.
The SteelSeries engine is amazing, and it gives you a LOT of versatility on controlling your own audio with that one Sonar thing.
Some issues:
-If you have more than 1 of these, the wireless connection will feel choppy. At times the audio will cut off completely for a few seconds.

Comfortable! The sound quality is good. The range is great. The steel series desktop app is kinda garbage the built in noise canceling from the desk top app doesn’t work that great.

The best wireless headset for the PS5 I think. The Sony headset gives me that clamping head pain after wearing it for about half an hour, but this one doesn’t. It’s very comfortable to wear & tge sound quality is not bad!

These are honestly great. This is my first wireless headset and I don’t have any complaints so far. The sound quality is good. I’ve only charged these once and they still haven’t died on me. I’d definitely recommend.

Extremely comfortable with an almost unnessary range! I have never been more satisfied with headphones at such a pricepoint or with software that would allow for such customization.

Sounds good, when it works... Very comfortable and good looking headset but otherwise it's a paper weight. The microphone is poor both in sound quality and volume. Friends have me turned up 2 times as high as everyone else in the discord. I don't think I've ever written a review on anything on Best Buy but figured I would for this so you don't waste your time or money.
After owning it for about a month I started to get connection issues. It would lose connection briefly while being within 2 feet of the receiver it comes with in the box. This week it really started to get bad with connection issues to where the audio would just clip the entire time, teammates saying my mic was cutting in and out. Just an overall waste of money. If you plan on getting it definitely get the protection plan for when it starts to decline after the return period. I will be going back to wired Astros.

Bought these to replace my astros a 50s, was using them for both my pc and ps5, but for some reason the headset isn’t good on ps5. When using it, the sound would make weird noises. now I’m only using these for my pc and they work great honestly much better than my astros a50s. So if you have a pc and are looking for a good headset these are the ones, but if you want them for the ps5 look for something else unless you want to hear that disconnecting sound all the time.

I used and LOVED the Arctic 7 headset, so when it finally needed to be replaced, the 7+ was a no brainer. But the changes they've added are more downgrades than improvements.
On the plus side, the wireless connection is improved. And the cable connection is a USB-C now. The comfort and solidness are still there and definitely a plus over other brands.
One of my favorite features of the Arctic 7 was having a sound device for chat functions and another for gaming and other computer sounds. When both were active, such as having a team chat going while playing a game, a wheel on the side controlled how to split the volume between the two. If gaming sounds are drowning out the chat, simply use the wheel to increase chat volume and lower gaming sounds.
For unknown reasons, SteelSeries changed all of this to some proprietary function they call "Sonor" which quite simply does NOT work. Volume may decrease chat but not adjust game sounds or vice versa. Sometimes it doesn't do anything. Sometimes it changes completely after rebooting. But it never works completely. So one of the key features of this headset just simply doesn't work.
Hopefully this will improve as they work on Sonor, but until then I'd look elsewhere.

I got this one for my son, to replace the Sony Pulse 3D. The quality and sound of the Arctis is way better. It is also more comfortable for a teenager.
