Great headset! Definitely worth the investment. Super comfortable and even fits over my big ears. Sound quality is all you'd need out of a gaming headset, although can sound a bit tinny and spacious like you were in a room with acoustic foam. For a gaming headset though, nothing too much to complain about and you won't have a problem even in competitive settings. A plethora of features that I honestly haven't even tested yet! Sleek design and retractable mic make it a good look for people who love minimal design. Battery life is good, usually have them on for about 4-5 hours in a day and it takes about 2-3 days until they need a charge. If you walk around the house with wireless like me, you'll find the effective range before disconnecting at about 8m or 25ft.

I really love this headset. It’s extremely comfortable and has awesome sound quality with a really great set of drivers and settings that allow you to do things like enable side tone, enhance the bass, or change the dynamic range. The only flaws I have are the mic quality, being mediocre which is hard to make super clear in a wireless headset, and the fact that mine personally will have a very weird static issue. Sometimes while playing a game or talking to friends on discord, sounds in my headset will have static and I guess my friends can hear the static too. It’s an annoying flaw in mine that happens only sometimes but it may just be my headset that’s glitched or something. I wish I got the protection plan on it, which I recommend to everyone that buys a headset that’s decently expensive. Another plus, this headset went on sale and I bought it for 110 which was a super good deal and a great value for this headset.

I've never used such an easy pair of quality gaming WIRELESS headphones. I had returned two other pairs that were just a nightmare to pair or even have work properly, Razer nari and black shark pro. These literally worked within seconds of taking out of the box. Really good surround quality, fitment is amazing, not to tight but not loose. I haven't used the microphone, so I can't speak to that just yet. But the sound quality is great. My ONLY dislike is how touchy the volume knob is, with a tiny movement it's too loud or too quite. Recommend just putting it to 100 and using the system volume control.

This headset has been a blessing for me because I work from home and I need to stand up a lot so the wireless is great. I can walk through my entire house and they will be connected. The sound quality is amazing as well. They are great for listening to music and just anything else. They stay charged all day long and even when I do need to charge them I can plug them in and still use them. For a full charge it doesn't usually take but an hour maybe 2 so they are fast to charge. Oh and changing things in the software like bass, treble, etc is really easy and the software is really user friendly as well.

the headset is awesome they feel like they float over my head I wear glasses and they are still comfortable to wear while I'm wearing my glasses. Only thing I dont like is the charging is a bit annoying only way to know if it's charge os to charge it then turn them on and follow what the lights on the power button mean if you have a pc the program makes it easier to know the how charged the batteries are if u get them for a console u really won't know how charged they are but other than that great sound quality, very comfortable and batteries lasted me for a week I used them like 3 to 4 hours a day

Great sound quality, good fit, comfortable for long hours and decent software. My only minor gripe is the volume bottom doesn’t have enough resistance so it’s easy to brush it and go full volume or mute.

These headphones are awesome. They feel great when wearing, fit great, doesn't fall off while wearing, doesn't overheat, and sound quality is excellent. Range is also really far. Would recommend these headphones over any other wireless headphone.

Very comfortable and seem to be durable also. Microphone bends nicely and retracts when you don't need it. Wireless is flawless. The sound is really good for a gaming headset. Music just doesn't sound great. Bass is lacking slightly. Overall a really good product!!

    Gamers' ideal wireless headset

I was looking for a gaming headset and found so many that my head began to spin. In the gaming aisle alone there were over 40 makes and model of headsets. I tried every one I could. I am an ex-recording engineer, so I have a pretty good ear for evaluating sound. I liked the feel of the steelseries headset as they were comfortable to wear and didn't pinch or put too much pressure on my head. The weight was balanced and felt like it was a quality product. The mic works very well and I can mix between the game sound and other players. Now I will admit that the Arctis Pro (wired and wireless) do sound better than the Artctis 7 that I got, but they cost significantly more. I think the Arctis 7 is at the good balance between sound and price. There are so many features that you can tweak to your heart's content. My only gripe is that I wish it had RGB lighting but to maximize battery life they did not include RGB lighting. I highly recommend these headphones, but each person is different and may have different preferences.

This is one of the better sounding pairs of headphones I've owned. It's comfortable to wear for long periods, and the battery life is amazing. I routinely get 12-16 hours of near-constant use and the battery charge indicator never drops below half. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Chat Mix feature on it is a bit weird to set up, and when trying to use it to work from home I sometimes have audio problems that requires unplugging and replugging the USB adapter. It doesn't show up locally, though, which could be a problem with the phone software work uses. Still, if you're looking for an amazing pair of headphones and don't mind some setup and the occasional hiccup this pair's for you.

Ah the Arctis 7 Wireless DTS Gaming Headset by SteelSeries. I had such high hopes for this product as my set of Limited Edition Arctis wired headphones were amazing and have been going strong for almost two years now. Unfortunately these new ones did not deliver that same quality experience that has fueled my gaming sessions for the last few years, instead these have left me feeling crushed and defeated. Lets begin: The initial presentation was nice, simplistic, packaging was pretty average, nothing over the top. The headphones are essentially plug and play, the aesthetic of them is pretty nice, as you'd expect when paying $150+ for a premium headset. The band over the head is incredibly comfortable and the ear cushions don't make your ears ache, they have a nice matte black look and overall the headset is pretty aesthetically pleasing. Basically its as much as you'd expect from a premium $150+ headset. Until you realize it isn't... While the initial presentation and use of the headset was phenomenal, the sound is amazing out of the box even before doing any EQ and adjustments via the downloadable app for PC. The bass is great and the surround sound was one of my favorite features of the headset. Unfortunately, this is where the compliments end for now. While everything seemed perfectly fine and went about as good as you'd expect on the first day, throughout the following three days is when everything started to go downhill. While initially I was impressed by the quality of the headphones, this impression quickly changed when they developed a "creaking" sound, like what you'd hear when something is being forcibly rubbed against a plastic surface. My research online quickly told me that this was most likely due to the circuit board rubbing the inside of the earcup that it was housed in. While frustrating, I tried to deal with it like it was no big deal. Although it was, because this "minor inconvenience" quickly became an annoyance as this "creaking" sound was heard any time I'd remove or put on the headset, or even so much as simply adjust the position of the left ear muff. This only got worse though, as the next day I could hear what sounded like something loose in the headset, which I quickly deduced was the joint that connected the ear muff and the headband. Now I could hear the connecting joint moving anytime I took a step or even touched the headset. Further research online indicated that many users experience that same connecting joint breaking after only a few months or less, and that combined with the horror stories about the SteelSeries customer service and RMA programs, completely ruined any good impression I had about this headset. Yes the sound was exceptional, the bass was good, the headset was incredibly comfortable, it looked sharp and has all the features you could want built into a single headset.. But the fact of the matter remains: If I'm paying top dollar for a "premium" gaming headset that costs almost as much as two more-than-exceptional headsets combined, than I believe that I am in the right to be expecting a headset with build quality worthy of that price tag. For a premium price, the headset is almost entirely made of plastic (aside from the metal band across the top and the internal circuitry), and that's OK I suppose. What isn't OK is it comes out of the box and can't even go for 24 hours without starting to display issues that a person should normally only expect to be observing after years of use (wear and tear), especially for the price. I also never left them sitting around, always on a headphone stand/holder when not in use and when charging. Pros: Amazing sound quality, bass is exceptional for a gaming focused headset, easy to use application and EQ. Comfortable even after long gaming sessions. Wireless works good and range is more or less accurate to what is advertised. Mic works pretty well. Is retractable and sounds pretty good, picks up background noise though. Roughly 40 ft. wireless range. 24 hour battery life and it charges pretty fast. Works well with consoles. Cons: Primarily made of plastic (cheap materials) Hard to determine battery percentage, the button light tends to glitch and not show the true status of the battery's charge unless specific steps are taken when turning it on. Charging cable can easily break off inside the headset. Requires that the included transmitter is plugged into whatever device you want to connect the headset with (via usb). Build quality is average at best, but not for this price. Longevity of the product is questionable, mine had issues almost right out of the box. Perhaps by stroke of bad luck or faulty design, I was eventually forced with the decision to return them and opt for a different brand this time around. While I had good experience with SteelSeries in the past and my initial impressions were set to be a 4.5/5 or 5/5 (if I had to give them an initial rating), clearly it has not worked out that way. I really wanted to love these headphones and I enjoyed using them, but if I'm spending over $100 on a premium set of headphones I expect to receive premium quality headphones in return, not instantaneous issues, anxiety, buyers-remorse, and ultimately returning them after only three and a half to four days of use. Great while they lasted, I'll pay top dollar any day if I feel like the product will be able to last for some time, but these overall just didn't live up to the loose expectations that I had for a headset that costs this much, regardless of functionality or aesthetic.

I haven’t bought a new pair of headphones in years because I’m always disappointed. After reading the great reviews I decided to try them. As soon as you put them on you know they’re built with quality. The sound is crisp and clear. Plenty of clear volume. The range is better than I expected. Can go from one end of a small house to the other before it cuts out. The battery life is really long. Only have to recharge every fourth day with regular use. You can plug in with a 1/8 stereo jack if you’re battery did die. For the price, quality and comfort you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend these headphones.

Still one of the best wireless gaming headsets on the market. Build quality is pure quality, and the breathable ear cups mean that I can wear it for hours on end in complete comfort. This is the only headset I can say that about, out of around 20+ others I have reviewed. Sound is on another level compared to headsets way more expensive than this one. Battery life is really good, which is about 20+ hours on a single charge and the microphone is also awesome. Very glad I ended up with a headset as great as this one.

I had these for about a month and only returned them to help eat some cost on a new build when my PC crashed on me! Pros - Thw white coloring looks amazing -Super comfortable to wear for semi extended periods - battery lasts quite a long time - audio quality for streaming was actually decent with no real tuning done in SLOBS Cons - Audio Quality didnt sound any better over let's say Astra A10(better sound IMO) But if I am being honest grab them at $100 or second hand before spending full retail on these! Overall good unit when weighing it all together

Really great headphones. I tried alot of them too to land on these. The price is great too. Sound is very nice to me but that is very subjective. They are wireless and wired too. The app works well also. Very comfortable earpads as well. I dont use the virtual surround as thats not a very good feature with any headphones I've tried, but regular stereo works perfectly fine. Games like BF5 have their own way of performing surround sound that works great with stereo headphones. The headband on them is my favorite part of them.
