I purchased these for sim racing. I usually do endurance racing where I need to wear the headset for 3-4 hours at a time. I also use an Oculus Rift for VR. These headphones fit very nicely over the Rift. They are lightweight and sound great. I can wear them for long periods of time and they do not irritate my ears. They also cover my ear completely which I've had issues with other headsets in the past. Good quality product, sounds great, lightweight, and no issue with the wireless connection. I recommend for serious gamers.

Bought these after returning some h70s that were not comfortable for me. These are miles better for me and my larger ears ;) sound quality is pretty good, mic quality is also pretty good. Wireless range on these is incredible. I can walk anywhere in our 2 story house (computer is downstairs in the office) and never lose signal. Blow the Corsair h70s away in range. Not even close. Those cut out by the time I got the stairs. I have been using these to play on the steam link upstairs and still being able to chat on discord with the incredible range on these things. I regularly game at my desk with a dac and headphone amp with audio Technica adh 700s, so these are just for doing couch gaming for me. These are not audiophile headphones, don't fall for the hype, but they are however very good for the price, decent enough sound quality, and with the awesome range on these I really only have one complaint. The sidetone on these is terrible. Luckily since they have fabric ear pads it's not super needed, but boy it's miles behind the h70s in this regard. Fully cranked, you can barely hear yourself, I know this is a common complaint. The hs70s barely had to be turned on in sidetone and it was still louder in those. But as I said, I don't find it super necessary on these since they're not so stuffy due to the fabric pads. TLDR: decent sound, great range, comfortable enough, decent mic, nice to have wireless freedom, a solid buy.

I was shocked how comfortable these where when I put these on. The sound is sharp. Good for FPS games and hearing footsteps, Not so good for music (hardly not any good bass). Could be better, thats probably why this lost a star to be honest. The mic quality is immaculate! I'm not a fan of the dials on the back of the headset, and the mute button is kinda hard to feel for when wanting to mute fast. The range of these are ok, the ps4 gold headsets go just as far. They are also really sturdy, Be carful, youll fall asleep in them lol.
But in all these are definitely worth the price.

Good sound quality, both over microphone and to listen to.
Good battery life for the most part. Was originally very comfortable.
My only complaint is the elastic band that is designed to spread the weight across the top of your head has become stretched so much as to be useless. This reduced it from being VERY comfy to being only a bit comfortable. At first the SteelSeries support suggested running the band through the dryer which helped for a bit, but has since stopped bringing the elastic band back to it's original length.

Great build and sound quality. Music sounds good and can sound better with some adjusting of the EQ in the provided software. Feels lightweight when on your head thanks to the adjustable strap. Ears don't get over-heated. Retractable mic is good for gaming, chatting. SteelSeries Engine 3 software doesn't work consistently, but saves your last dialed in settings, so most of the time it doesn't affect their usage and performance. Wireless range and low latency is excellent. Overall quite pleased and worth the price.

As someone that uses headset's 90% of the day these are the one's that I will not give up , I used to buy a different brand but they would need replaced at least once a year ( I am not very gentle with My headsets - Gamer /Dj/Video Editor) , so I started looking for something else, I ran across these 2yrs ago and haven't looked back, you hear what you want to hear. So if I ever have to get a upgraded version it will be the SteelSeries

I have returned many headsets but I finally found a keeper with SteelSeries Arctis 7. These are very comfortable, no pain or discomfort after hours of use. Battery life is great. These don’t have RBG LED’s but you would never see when on. Sound quality is clear, good treble and not too much bass. Install and setup is easy. Mic is very clear. These are steal when on sale, I got them for $99 on Black Friday!

If you're looking for comfort this headset is for you. I recently bought HyperX flight but returned them because they hurt my ears when I played more than 20-30 minutes. The hyperX did have the better sound quality only because they used a little bit more bass, but these headphones are perfect for long gaming sessions and they are very good quality when it comes to gaming. Listening to music isn't the best due to the lack of thump in the bass. I can wear these headphones for hours before I need to take them off. (Review is based on ps4. It comes with more features on PC)

Purchased for my brother, so review is second hand. He previously had Astro A50s, for reference. He said the battery life on these is substantially better than the Astros. He also said the sound quality on these is good, but that the sound is more neutral (less bass), which lines up with all reviews I read on the product before purchasing it and isn’t objectively a flaw if you like your audio cleaner. Overall, he seems satisfied so far, so you might be able save yourself $150 and pick these up over A50s.

At first, this headset was great. As time has gone on, I have had many little gripes that accumulated to an overall poor experience.
The Pros:
-super comfortable
-pretty decent sound quality
-good mic
-light weight (comparatively)
The Cons:
-Popping audio sounds - tried every troubleshooting step under the sun. Still get occasional popping
-More then once, I have had to factory reset the headset as it would not charge
-Inconsistent Mic quality -often getting complaints of my voice cutting out over Teams calls and on discord
-Shorting on the volume/filter wheel
- The filter wheel is obnoxious. It spins extremely easily. It is supposed to be able to adjust balance between game and voice audio for on the fly adjustment. While it is super convenient in the moment, I wish it was more stiff. I constantly have to adjust it because it will get knocked out of whack super easily.
- the mic mute button now gets stuck, and I have to jimmy it to get unstuck.
Overall, I wish I bought a different headset for the money.

headphones are great and they don't have any pressure points on my head. the mic quality is excellent. works great on the ps4 and on PC but you get the best out of it on PC the only reason why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my charging port on the headset broke kinda i had purchased this on 2 17 2019 and today is June 14 2019 so after 2..5 months the charging port came loose and now i cant update my headphones it will charge as long ad i don't mess with the cord while plugged in I'm on my way back to best buy to get these swapped out i hope i don't have to update this review ion a few months

This is by far the best gaming headset I have ever owned. The sound is amazing and they are so comfortable. I have a pretty large head and have had issues in the past with finding comfortable headsets that fit.... These do the trick. You won't be disappointed.

I have had this headset for 5 months now and i love them. They are extremely comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. While the mic is flimsy and retracts back into the headset, the sounds quality is amazing. The battery life is great and charging time is great as well. I have not had them long enough to experience the ski goggle strap sag but others i know who have had this head set for 12+months have not experienced this issue either. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality wireless headset.

Overall for the money this headset is excellent. The sound quality is crisp and probably the best one I have ever used for gaming. It is very lightweight. Some headsets after prolonged use will start to hurt, but the padding on these are real good and comfortable. While not perfect they keep your ears decently cool. Not as much sound cancelling as other headset on the market, but I prefer it that way. This headset is well worth the $150 and I doubt you will be disappointed if you made the purchase.

These are really good headphones. I think they are just the right weight. Too light to me feels flimsy, and too heavy is uncomfortable. I think it’s right in the middle. The sound quality blows me away. Often times it legitimately feels like I’m immersed in the game I’m playing. The battery life is great. I’ll game with them for about 3-4 hours a day and one full charge will last days. Highly recommend.

I needed a new headset after my A40TR's ran its course. I wanted something wireless after having to deal with the mix-amp and cord from my Astros always being in the way when playing. I've read reviews, and tried on the sample headsets at BestBuy, and decided to purchase these. Very happy with these overall, the ear cups are soft and the fabric is a lot better than when i had the leather ear cups from my mod kit on the Astros. Audio quality is amazing, and there is no noticeable lag in game audio from it being wireless as well. I haven't tested the mic quality since i use a separate USB Mic with arm on my desk.
Only negative, which is the only reason i took 1 star off is that the headsets aren't really adjustable. I'm a big guy that wears almost an 8 in New Era Hats. The elastic on the headset, while comfortable, doesn't really allow me to give it a more relaxed fit. The ear cups feel like they just clear my ear lobes when i'm using them.
Pros:
-VERY comfortable fabric for the ear cups
-Audio quality is amazing
-Wireless is amazing with no noticeable audio lag or delay
Cons:
-Not much adjustments available when fitting for your head.
