Function wise and sound wise this is great, but it's too big for my head (pulls up on my ear lobes, squishes my skull infront of my ears, and ears touch the speaker cover). If they made an XL version I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but I'm sticking with the Nova 7 for the bit of adjustability

First off ill say these are good headphones when they work. Unfortunately the wireless receiver constantly has to be unplugged and plugged back in from the back of my PC to work. Also on numerous occassions they have “died” after brief usage and being fully charged. All these problems sre with the latest firmware.

The only problem i have with this hedset is the construction. The ear cup (where it attaches to the head band) needs to be much stronger. Mine broke at that point. I believe thah for the price it should be much better.

I bought this in June and ever since i bought it ive had intermitten issues with it. The device will be on, and connected to my computer just fine, ill hear the light feedback through the mic and everything, but nothing works, adjust every stupid knob on it and everything, switch every setting around, nothing, and theres no fixes for it, so i snapped mine in half out of anger. Again sometimes itll work just fine, but 50% of the time it just wont work without a fix which means it probably shouldnt be sold

This is one of the most frustrating products I think I have ever purchased. The dongle always disconnects, forcing you to unplug each time you turn on your computer. There is no known fix for this issue. There is no distinctive difference between the sound from this headset compared to cheaper competitors. I'm about to just throw mine away I seriously hate it so much. Oh yeah, and this is my second Arctis 9. The first one I received had a dead battery and never charged once.

I give this a poor rating not because of the headsets audio. Its audio is accurate and crisp, the ear cups are comfortable, the head band sits well. But even with all the great bells and whistles; it is pointless if these headphones don’t last. I am careful with my accessories so there’s usually no wear and tear till about 4-5 years or so which by then there are better accessories to buy. But steelseries headphones break at the ear about a year to 2 years later. If you are lucky enough for them to break within a year you have a warranty but a day outside of a year the company will not bat an eyelash turning you down. They know it’s a common defect in their product that’s why they don’t fix it outside of warranty it will cost them. Look up YouTube and Reddit posts, there are hundred if not thousands of this specific complaint about this product and company

I purchased this headset for 200 on 4/26/22 and as of last week, around 1/21/23, the mute button failed. I cannot unmute my headset unless i physically press the button or tape the button down. It also randomly gets all staticy and then shuts down and wont turn back on for 1-2 minutes. As of the date of this review, 1/29/23, i am still on hold with steelseries for an RMA and ive been told the time it takes to get a new headset is abysmal. I wouldnt buy this for anywhere over 100 bucks with its shoddy construction

They constantly beep and crackle. I’ve tried following the youtube video from steelseries but that doesn’t help. I’ve updated them, uninstalled and reinstalled the GG app, firmware reset them using a pin, moved usb locations and moved the transmitter location but nothing seems to work. The transmittor is constantly losing connection. Don’t waste your money on this. It’s not worth it.

Not sure if i got unlucky w the product. But theres constant white noise. and even more white noise if i have it charging. The bluetooth also disconnects periodically and switches to the PS5 bluetooth mode when i have no PS5 in my house hold. Its very hard to also connect wireless and it feels like its up to chance and if i get lucky it will connect to bluetooth

Why does BestBuy list Charging Interface(s) USB Type C? I specifically bought this item because I wanted to stay with one cable type and when I got it home it has micro-USB. I hate micro-USB and that it doesn't last very long has terrible connection.

Dint waste your money on these if you have a series X. Audio cuts out all the time to the poont that the headset cuts off for no reason. Cleart Steelseries knows this because the new headsets connect with a dongle

Feel like you can get some better quality headphones for the price.

Title oretty much sums it up. Brand new out of the bix and the fame audio cuts out constantly tried disconnecting and reconnecting ect and nothing works im taking these back asap.

Every single person in these reviews holding these headphones haphazardly and letting the ear cups weigh down the joints are going to be replacing them in 6 months.

This has a micro USB charging port, not C like the best buy description says, so going to return it.

They wouldn't power on. Took them back for the nova 7.
