    Great sound when they connect

These headset is pretty great for sound and are amazing when connected. However, getting them connected and staying connected is a challenge. Sometimes I when I'm starting them up it will go through a cycle of connected and disconnected for 10 mins before it decides what it wants. Wanted to mention to watch out for the firmware update for this headset. It might've done something to mine but know there are some posts on reddit about the firmware update ruining their headset. Specifically the bluetooth light will flash constantly and not turn off or connect to any device. I'd recommend this headset but make sure to get the protection plan.

I bought these for my daughter to use while she games online. She has a playstation. She loves these. The sound is great and she loves the pull out mic. I like that I can tell when she is or is not muted, because the mic lights up red. So I can ask her to mute herself before I start talking. She wears them for hours at a time and they do not hurt her ears. It only took a few minutes to pair them to her console. Very easy and straightforward controls.

    A Really Really Great Headset

I've been going back and forth with headsets for a few months now, I just found my headset moving forward. I'm not an Xbox guy. My jam is PS5. These headphones have a dongle that allows perfect sound quality in games. I also use PC for WoW and as a music studio. The dongle will work for the PC while there's a 3.5mm jack (a dying breed). The 3.5mm should allow me connectivity to my effects processor which allows me to dub guitar tracks in real time. I haven't tested this as of yet but I'm going to update when I do. There's also bluetooth. I tried the Virtuoso headset with bluetooth and the bluetooth kept cutting out periodically so I'd miss part of a song which would throw my focus off balance. I have yet to have that issue with this headset. I was an RGB freak and had most experience with a Logitech G935. They ran out of stock which made me look into other options. I've tried a Corsair Virtuoso RGB XT or something, and a Razer Nari Ultimate. I'm updating with times so bluetooth with dual connectivity became a must. If these things are important to you then you really need to give this headset a try.

I thought the sound was awesome and they were amazingly comfy to wear honestly. I have been through many headphones and I can say these are easily in my top 5

I play PS5 online a lot and I'm constantly being told how good and clear everyone can hear me so it seems the mic is great and as far as the speakers so are they. And comfortable to wear. I just don't like that I have to unplug the wireless transmitter from my PS5 to hear sound thru the TV.

The sound is great, steel series make a great headset. Can’t rate 5 stars because it has connectivity issues, I think it is the software for the computer that is the problem though.

They sound good and fit great for long gaming sessions. The only issue is it's missing USB-C, but rather charges with USB Micro. The dongle has a longer cable and the PC/PS5 switch is on the bottom so it cannot be mounted. Connected to the PS5 without any issues.

This is a christmas gift, but I was impatient and let my wife try them on before wrapping them again. She said they fit amazingly. And the quality is unparallelled, especially for the price. We already had wired versions of an older model and love them as well, so this was an easy purchase.

Good device but I've had Sony/Bose in the same price range that 'felt' better made (though those were admittedly not gaming headphones). Functionally, they are doing what they are supposed to do and they are comfortable to wear (I've always hated the 'double headbands' but now I'm a convert). I didn't like having to plug in a dongle at first but I've gotten over it because having two channels is nice.

They worked great! We did hit a snag around the year 2 mark, the buttons just completely stopped working and unfortunately we didn't purchase a warranty. Had that not happened everything else was great about them, We will purchase again, but with the warranty this time. Great christmas gift for someone that will use them EVERY day,

Round sound and good construction. Mostly comfortable although a little bulky. Sound can be a little tinny at times but with adjustment sounds good, recommend at 4 stars.

I bought these about 2 months ago after my steel series arctis 7 was not holding a charge for more than a few minutes after being charged over night. Luckily I had the geek squad protection and was able to upgrade to these. Which unfortunately they are one major downgrade. Setup was pretty easy for the receiver which uses Bluetooth and RF to connect. But the problems stated there the receiver would disconnect every time I power on my PC and had to be plugged back into the usb port. I tried all 7 on my Pc and still had the disconnect issue. The other problem is the range I can walk maybe 10ft away and the disconnect and will get clips of static while trying to reconnect to my Pc. I also heard they have a software/firmware update through the “app” that was kind of helpful but I have not noticed any difference. I also noticed that the volume for these seems like a major pain to setup correctly. They have a “app” to adjust eq and other settings, but for the life of me I can still barely hear my team mates over the game. When everything and everyone had been through a myriad of adjustments and trouble shooting for several hours this is the second biggest problem I have had. The biggest issue is when it comes to charging if you have owned any steel series headphones previously that were wireless you know they have the annoying beep at 20% or less battery. Unfortunately when your charging cable is plugged into the headphones and your Pc it will switch inputs from wireless to wired absolutely destroying my volume controls and microphone inputs on discord and in game. The other problem that arises is strictly with the ergonomics of the volume controls. They get adjusted at the slighted movement and are easily manipulated by a head rest on a chair or couch cushion or even by just setting them down on the table. Both volume and audio priority knobs are mounted near where they would be easily rested when placed down to take a break. The only good thing I have to say about these are that the ear cushioning and mic are better and nice than my old arctis 7s that I unfortunately had to replace for these garbage headphones. I’ll be shopping for a replacement and will be happy when I get to get rid of this over priced, and underwhelming product and experience.

Good but not the best. Out of the box, the mike was rubbing against the ear cup making obvious sign of wear. Pretty comfy, sound is 8/10 when compared to nova pro, louder than nova 7. Would recommend it if it goes for sale for 100$ but not more

This headset is extremely comfortable, and the quality of sound is excellent! Ive had two pair (I unfortunately broke the power button on my first pair), bought a different model from this same company in between my two sets that had the same great quality but not nearly as comfortable. I highly recommend this headset!

Not at all worth what it's priced at (currently $200). Overall it's not a bad headset but you can do far better for what it costs. I've had a corsair void elite that lasted a good few years and still works but it's getting pretty worn so I decided to try something new. It's not as comfortable as the void, there's no padding on the top so it's just a fabric band trying to suspend the plastic over the top of your head that inevitably puts pressure on your skull. I has a chat/source mix dial and when turning it one way it turns up chat while lowering your game or source audio and turning it the other way does the inverse. Maybe you like that, I personally can't stand it. It's overall a lot more quiet than my other headsets. My void I could leave my volume at 30% at all times and it was plenty loud. I'd just adjust the volume from within games and programs and be fine. With these I'm constantly pushing it past 60% just to hear spoken words clearly. The range is relatively the same as my other wireless headset if not just slightly worse. My voids would be fine up to just outside my front door, which is roughly 20ft with a door in the way. Meanwhile the steelseries will cut out just as I walk out the door. All of these things are more nitpicky than they are true problems though. The one thing it has going for it is the battery life. My voids last 8hrs at best while these steelseries are pretty accurate to the advertised 20hrs. To cap this off I'll reiterate, these are okay for a headset. They manage to do everything you'd expect a headset to do, but for $200 they feel very cheap and I feel like a lot of compromising is being asked from the customer when you'd could get something just as good if not arguably better for half the price or less. I'll be keeping these as a backup and I'll probably just buy another set of voids for daily use.

Got this a couple of days ago to replace my 12 year old sony entertainment studio headset back in the ps3 days. Sound is awesome just like my old one at 7.1 surround sound. I very comfortable even i decide to wear glasses. I do like you can change the eq scaler on your computer. And adjust your settings as needed and it saves it.

Was having a hard time finding the right headset for the ps5 it is safe to say there is no need to look further than these. My last head set was far too quiet and these are loud very clear and have a crazy amount of features. Also super comfortable. Love these 10/10
