Not Great
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Arctis 9x are a great start to what could be an awesome product; however, there are a few shortcomings in the current version that really prevent it from being great. PRO: +++Comfort+++, build quality, wearability, design, "look" CON: Mic monitor low; overall sound quality is poor; would not sync to MacOS; no iOS app After loading the software I was able to adjust mic monitoring and EQ; however, the outputs from both the bluetooth to iOS as well as the XB1 were simply not loud enough. Audio quality from both the input (mic) and outputs (headphones) was far worse than my 7-yr old TB XO One wired headset. Irrespective of EQ settings, I could not get them to sound halfway decent - weak bass, tinny highs, far too much mids seem to be the overall theme. This probably could be addressed in firmware; however, at this price point, I expected perfect. I did not receive it. I really wanted for these to work; returned after 2-days of testing.

Comfy but useless
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased them as a replacement for my Astros. They look and feel great, but my microphone has never worked. I gave them to my son to figure out, and he lost them for months. Now i doubt the warranty is any good, and the trade in value is ridiculous, $10 maaaaybe $15. Money is despicable

Headsets that are way overpriced.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The SteelSeries Arctis 9X was a horrible purchase. First the headset had issues with connection. The Bluetooth feature would disconnect from my PC nonstop. It would work while listening to Youtube and then when I switched to a game, it disconnected. I would have to restart the PC, forget the device on my PC, and then reconnect. Using the Xbox Dongle to connect was a pain also. If you had it connected to your Xbox and then tried using the dongle for the PC, it would not connect. You would have to reset the headsets every time. Sound quality with this headset is also very poor. For the price I should be able to hear footsteps, especially in Warzone where footstep sounds are extremely loud. I could barely hear anything and overall quality of sound was terrible. Last issue is customer service. There is none. No phone number to call and you are suppose to email them and hope someone replies. After researching their customer service, I have found they basically have none. I have owned numerous headsets and would definitely say to stay away from these headsets.

Not worth the $200
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked these up on 7/6/21. Saw many great videos and reviews. They were super easy to connect with my Xbox series X. Put them on was was getting crackling nose on both sides and was getting reconnected every once in a while. Sound is clear but too low for my taste. Not worth the $200 that i paid for them. Going back to store to get a refund. Would not recommend these at all.

Don't waste your time
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst Electronic item I have purchased in 30 years. Not just the worst headphones, the worst electronic item ! I stupidly purchased 2 of these, neither would ever connect wirelessly. Tried across different machines, different wireless networks, even different wireless adapters in addition to Xbox. Unfortunately as sent as a gift, we didnt know until after the 30 day return period. So we have to use them as corded headphone. Not only that after scanning reviews after we purchased, we were not alone.
