Great Headset To Buy And Use With Your Xbox

The arctis 9x is a good headset for the value. I've had no problems or disconnection issues, when it comes to either using the Bluetooth or WiFi direct connect with the Xbox. Only issue with the Xbox Series X is that when you turn off your console it restarts to an uncontrollable state. But just waiting on a patch from MS or SteelSeries. I would still recommend this headset to others who are interested. Battery life is correctly as advertised depending on volume level. The microphone for the 9x is quite crystal clear from the feedback I've received from other player's. The Mic can also retracted and extended for when you choose to decide if you need to use the mic. If you press the mute button on the headset itself. There is a red LED light indicator on the microphone main unit that indicates that you're currently muted. The sound isolation is excellent for the microphone, you don't get any hints of background noise unless it's above certain high volume level of sound/noises Etc. I understand that the grand total price point may seem much, but I highly recommend the Arctic 9x.

    Great.. when it works

Great when they work. Randomly disconnects from Series X mid-game. Sometimes completely shuts off, but doesn't at the same time. Meaning, turn on, everything goes well. Suddenly shuts off - no sound no light on mic. To get it back on, you have to hold power button until the start up noise sounds. Then you have to do that once more. really odd and should not happen to a premium headset. Other than that, most comfortable gaming headset for my head.

Headset with great audio and great comfort! Please be aware of a few things. If your head is too big, they might feel like they are pressing in to you during extended wear. Currently using with the Series X and I have noticed that if I turn off the headset the Xbox controller loses the connection to the Xbox and won’t pair back no matter what I try. In this case the only thing that works is to remove the battery and also reset the Xbox by holding down the button for about 5 seconds.

Best Xbox gaming headset available. From a feature stand point you can't beat this headset. Great sound, lightweight and comfortable, and long battery life dwarf the competition. Even the A50s, which I exchanged for this headset, can't touch them. Bluetooth is nice as well. When the wife calls you won't miss it. Also mutes her to your party. Great feature.

Overall I like the headset quite a bit. Its comfortable, doesn't give me a headache or give you that all too common "ear crush" feeling some headsets are prone to. Construction is solid. My complaint us the same as many others: Randomly it will disconnect from the Xbox, occasionally turning itself off altogether. Overall a solid experience though.

The headset is comfortable and sounds amazing. The mic sounds good and is retractable.. My issue is with the wireless connection. It disconnects and you lose all sound. Not really a problem unless you're in the middle of a game. Its not that common, but it does happen. I cannot trust that this headset will perform 100% of the time. With a $200 price tag it needs to be better.

I like these headphones, been using them for a long time. However, there are some issues. Such as the headphones randomly turning off shortly after being turned on for less than 10 min. Then I’d have to turn them back on and they usually stay on after the second start up. Also would lose audio in the headphones at times, but the headset will just be on. So then I’d have to turn them off and then back on which is a pain because it takes a couple seconds. Other than those two things, headphones are built to last, adjustment of game and chat volume is an awesome feature, and you can mute the headphones with a button.

Amazing I bought these for my xbox and they work flawlessly. I play a lot of competitive R6 and these do the job. Super comfortable can have them on all day and the bluetooth feature is amazing. The sound quality from the microphone is just top level for an Xbox headset and the battery life lasts me about 10 hours. For any gamer 10/10 would recommend.

Its a really good headset, able to hear footsteps and other audio cue in competitive games. Good mic quality in my opinion. The battery life is also good enough for long sessions. Hadn't ran into any issues since i bought these.

This is hands down the best headset ive owned over the years. Very comfortable and the sound quality is amazing. Its not some cheap plastic turtle beach headset. This thing is durable. I love that its wireless as well. Honestly my only complaint is that its 200 dollars, but id say it was worth it. Over a year later and its still going strong.

I really love this headset as far as fit, sound quality, and literally every detail EXCEPT the connection. After about 3 months if very gentle use now it drops the connection from Xbox a couple times a day. It has for over a year now. I did upgrade to an Arctis Pro for myself since i got a PC and have had no issue with those but i gave these to my husband and he has issues every day. Its frustrating and im at a loss and feel like a wasted so much money on these. I wish i had remembered while these were in warranty because i would have been sending them back. Unfortunately my husband was deployed so they sat for 7 months unused and now that hes home im kicking myself for forgetting to do it. I will still recommend steel series especially since my new pair is amazing but this specific one i would advise against unless they can fix the connection issues.

I bought this headset to replace my broken Logitech G430s. I love that this headset is wireless and have a great battery life (~20 hours). They were easy to pair with my Xbox One and my iPhone. Although they were a bit pricy, they are great quality and I’m happy that they can serve a dual purpose as a headset for gaming and over the ear headphones for music/videos on my iPhone.

Unfortunately I’ve had to return these, but I will say in the time I’ve had them they were great! The ear cuffs were so comfortable especially if you wear glasses. The sounds was good too. But the main difference for me was the mic. All my friends were really shocked on how clear my voice was to them in parties. The price is bit high but worth every cent in my opinion!

Sound is pretty solid and I feel comfortable wearing them for 2-3 hours without issues. There are way too many connection issues and interference for the price point. I constantly have to adjust my other devices, hard restart the headphones, or jump through a bunch of hoops just to casually play.

Love them to death! Great for shooters. I now have an issue with hearing in one ear. Not bad after a year. I can still hear but it goes in and out from time to time. Otherwise, these are very durable. I’ve had so many different brands and enjoy these above everything else. Defiant worth every penny and I will be purchasing another set if the factory warranty doesn’t allow a swap.

just bought these today and I gotta say they are unbelievable in terms sound and quality. These actually sound better than my Astro A20's. The are so comfortable to wear. I didn't even have to adjust the strap in order for them to fit my head. I just put them on and I was ready to go. My only gripe would be the price. I would definitely recommend these to any hardcore gamer for.

Got this for my 11yr old son for Christmas, and so far he absolutely loves them. He said they are very comfortable even while wearing his glasses. They feel lightweight and the sound is amazing! Since they were pretty expensive, I also bought him a hard case that they fit in perfectly for travel to prevent any accidental damage.
