Keep messing with them and they get better.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m not a gamer. These are comfortable and sound good but they are not at all intuitive, maybe because they are for Xbox and Microsoft people are personally offended by intuitiveness? I don’t know they are good after you get them all set up but I like stuff that just works.

SteelSeries - Arctis 9X Wireless
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery life of the SteelSeries 9X is excellent. The noise cancellation is great and the stereo surround sound is 10/10. It is very sturdy and durable with its metal construction. Best headset yet my son says.

Steelseries Arctis 9X
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing headset...if it did the basics. Super comfy, audio quality is great for gaming and music. Chat mixer feature is great. However, the bluetooth connection is shotty at times - static cuts in and out - and I find myself having to reset the headset sometimes 2-3 times a night to reset the connection. Connector for headband to earphones is a metal insert...metal on think plastic so be careful with the heaset. Going back to a wired connection after this headset. Would be worth the money if if did the basics as well as everything else

Amazing sound. Can’t keep it connected to the Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent several days testing this and the Astro A50s to decide on a premium headset for the next few years. The sound on this headset is absolutely fantastic. Considering the $100 price difference, I settled on these and returned the Astros. Unfortunately, I immediately began having the well documented connection issues shortly thereafter. Sometimes it wouldn’t start until a few hours in. Sometimes, it would be immediately. Having to constantly power on and off your headset is not an experience one wants to have. All the troubleshooting options provided did nothing to help. So I’ll be returning these and getting the A50s again. It’s really disappointing, because the sound is magical. But when it only works some of the time, the magic isn’t worth the hassle.

Awesome but not perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This offers a lot on paper. I love how you don’t need a dongle to pair to xbox. I play COD & feel I have an advantage due to great directional sound. With that being said. I wish I could get more volume out of the headset. I have also notice a fair amount of drops during gaming.

High quality headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are awesome. The quality, the sound, the buttons on them. Seems like the battery never dies to so you don’t charge it a lot. Big bonus - Bluetooth connection to your phone, game while you listen to music

Bought February 3rd Stopped working March 1st
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Title says it plainly. I switched from a Rig 800LX headset after the Microphone started getting static-y after repeated use 3+ years. It was one of the best wireless headsets I've owned. Super comfortable, great sound, better in every way than the Arctis 9x besides the connectivity (used a dongle) and no bluetooth. I looked around researching best Xbox headsets and many websites featured these headphones. The volume levels suck on them, the headset is on the tighter side, even after adjusting. The muffs are comfortable, but not cooling like my old headphones, and these were $50 more expensive. On top of that one day the headphones just stopped working completely. I looked up how to fix it, charged it over night, switched chords, switched outlets, made sure that it worked and nothing. I found out that you can do a factory reset, and that didn't work either. I was willing to let go the fact that these headphones were not like my old RIG headphones, but now that they stopped working in less than a month I'm switching to another brand. Hopefully Turtle Beach comes through for me like old times. I would buy another RIG headset, but they stopped making them. I take very good care of my devices, as they are expensive. They get hung on a mount daily and stopped working without notice. Thankfully I bought the Best Buy protection plan. Don't buy these headphones and don't buy into the hype. They're not great, even if they do work for longer than a month for you.

Very comfortable
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most comfortable headset I've ever own the only downside is sometimes the Bluetooth disconnects and u just have to turn it off and back on. I like the audio and the ease of being able to change the party sounds on the side of the headset.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good headset. Easy to sync and control. Sounds great. Loses one star because I wish the range was a little better and incredibly rarely they'll be a connecting problem for a few seconds.

A little pricey, but still a good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super-comfortable, even with glasses. Lightweight and paired easily with my new XBox Series X. I haven’t put the microphone to the test just yet, but the audio quality is excellent. They’re a little pricy but I still consider this a good purchase.

Good sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend these headphones if you are an Xbox user. The ease of use with this system is pretty great, and the battery lasts forever. Overall good build quality and only downside is slight crackling and issues with sound quality from time to time. Overall great though.

Great Sound, Great Fit, Decent Mic
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Arctis 9X are pretty great overall. I've used Arctis 7 and Arctis Pros in the past so I was familiar with them going into it. I LOVED my Arctis 7 for years, but when I upgraded to the Pros I was quite underwhelmed in both the wireless sound quality and the overall fit of the headset. The 9X are a good blend of the best of both headests getting the bluetooth upgrade but my preferred comfort of the 7s. As with any gaming headset the mic of this leaves a lot to be desired when compared to a full mic setup, but gets the job done for game chat and parties.

Better than Most
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the artic 9s xbox to upgrade my Astro a40s mix amp 80. I didnt really need a new pair because the a40s are hands down amazing for the past 2 years. But figured wireless might be nice to try. Very happy with this headset. Doesnt sound as good as the a40 but still pretty good. I have never lost connection so far after 30 days or so. I also have been wearing them while mowing off my phone. This headset even powers on my xbox x from the headset. Also have been using it with my pc. All and all the headset is great. Only negative is the sound could be improved. But well worth $200!!!

Terrible connection with Xbox, bad sound on PC
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is great when connected to my Xbox series x. Sound is mediocre at best when connected to my PC. It also drops connection with my Xbox if I'm more than about 10 ft away from it. I've tried disabling things that may cause interference and eve moving my Xbox and it still disconnects. It doesn't make any sense. The Mircosoft headset did not have any of these problems, the only reason I replaced it with the Arctis headset was comfort. But I may go back to the Microsoft headset because this is getting very annoying.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Totally wireless. Connects via Bluetooth so you don’t even need your controller on to chat. Unreal battery life. As loud as you would like it and not have hearing loss. Comfortable and light. Great choice.

Great All Around Gaming Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good headphones! The sound and performance on these are great! I can use them for most of the day for heavy gaming sessions or just listening to music and they never run out of a charge. The set up is super easy and they are always connected to your Xbox. I think it’s really cool how you can use the power button on the headphones to turn on your Xbox Game console. It’s also a nice feature that you can use the Bluetooth function and connect to your other devices for more casual usage. These headphones are great for home and on the go and you get a great value for your money.
