The surround sound on it is great.When I play a game I can tell if there above me or to my right or left.what I didn’t like was they didn’t feel firm on the head.bass wasn’t so good.and the volume is too LOW!but the clarity was amazing.I would recommend for gaming.but for music or watching a movie not so much.they don’t sound bad at all.but for a $200 headset I expected a little more.these will kick the A50 out of the park when it comes to hearing footsteps and clarity.but when it comes to bass and loudness the A50 are way better.I own both of them.but to each their own.this is just my opinion.

Much better than my turtle beach 700. These things are lighter and aren’t as hot and hear soooo much better

Ive had this headset for over a year now and it has no problems with it, I use it with my xbox and PC. Bluetooth works great and the headphones are really comfortable on my head and dont strain my head unlike other headsets. Overall great product and I would definitely buy again!

I really enjoyed them. They felt very comfortable and had a great sound. The main issue was the mic itself. Wile it was very clear and crisp, friends who knew me outside of gaming said it changed my voice and I sounded very different to the last three mics I had been using.

I am incredibly picky when it comes to headsets and earbuds. This headset is the best one I've ever owned! I can wear it for hours and it never gets uncomfortable, never makes my glasses dig in to the side of my head, and has amazing audio quality. You can plug it in to your computer and adjust every aspect of the audio and microphone. I connected it to my Xbox in less than a minute, it was a breeze to set up. I tell everyone I play with if you don't have one of these, you're messing up.

The sound and comfort of this headset is unbelievable. Last forever on a charge and connects with my Xbox instantly.

I've tried headphones from all the popular brands for gaming, none of them even come close to the sound. These pair of headphones produce clear, punchy, bassy, loud sound that fills the entire room. They are a bit on the expensive side. But trust me you will not regret it. My only complaint is the micro USB charging port, it's just outdated.

Definitely loud and comfortable. Upgraded from a turtle beach and never going back. Only 4 star Bc the headset doesn’t automatically turn on with Xbox. Turtle beaches did.

All the positive things you have read about them are true. Comfort is as good as it gets in this weight class! I love the mute light on the mic boom. Bluetooth to the phone is great but to a PC not so much. I ended up buying the wireless dongle because it was soooooo bad with Bluetooth. Now this introduces another problem. It drops that connection periodically...the PC still sees it but will not send or receive audio and to resolve it the headset has to power cycle which brings us to another con. That physical process takes a long button press, a couple seconds of pause and then another long button press. Thats at least 15 seconds in which you will have no connection which in my case is always in a video meeting. It never shuts down from idle. This could be a quirk of the dongle I suppose but if you do not remember to shut it down or plug it in at the end of your day/session then you may be in a state like I am right now needing it but having to wait for it to charge. Speaking of charging...COME ON!!! USB C people! Its been around plenty long enough that there is no good excuse to have micro on these!

Sound quality is very nice does disconnect from my phone a lot but doesn’t disconnect at all from my Xbox wouldn’t recommend for Xbox users

I’ve owned several headsets including the Astro A50s so wasn’t sure what to expect with these. Several sites stated that these were the best for Xbox so decided to give them a try. The level of comfort with these are incredible, sound and mic are really good. Took seconds to connect and haven’t had any disconnects after several hours of use. If you’re an Xbox owner these are hands down the best!

Very happy with this headset so far. Looks good and it is comfortable. Sounds great and performs well. Would buy again and recommend to friends.

Overall is a great headset. Feels comfortable with glasses. the features are nice and with windows sonic compatibility it is a great sound quality headset.

Perfect replacement/upgrade to the Microsoft Xbox Wireless headset which broke after two years of extremely light use. These seem more durable (not susceptible to same defect as previous headset), are comfortable, provide good audio, and easy to setup/use.

I had these head phone for over 4 years. There perfect and so comfortable my brother loves them too had to buy him a pair. Plus when they started to break (finally) Best Buy warranty was still good?? Great gift honestly for gamers and people like big headphones used them for the gym too.

Ive tried them all. Astro A50's, Stealth 700 V2's, and HyperX Flight Wireless for Xbox. The 9X beats them all. Sound is clear and precise . Comfort is the best of the bunch by a mile. Make sure you update through the steel series engine 3 before using. There is an update to address the connection issues many have reported for series s/x. I have not had a single connection drop or interference. Great Headset!
