No wires just turn them on and link just like a controller. My favorite thing about these headphones is the Bluetooth. Very comfortable and easy to use.

I did not have a headset for my Xbob S and was hesitant to purchase one since the Series X is out. But this headset is compatible with both systems which is nice. I read good reviews and took a chance and happy I did. Absolutely comfortable to wear for long sessions and the sound is top notch! Please do not hesitate on purchasing this headset I personally feel you will be impressed.

These are very high quality as expectred from SteelSeries with one major caveat involving 2 different devices I pair them with. The is a known issue with Xbox Series X|S wear audio will start cutting in and out if your controller is inactive for roughly 10 or more seconds. During most gameplay this is not a problem, but watching any media this issue sucks. The two work arounds are to move the thumb sticks while using the headphones or to use an Xbox One generation controller. Supposedly Microsoft is aware of the problem and will provide the solution. Unfortunately the audio cutting out issues occur when paired to my Amazon FireTV Cube as well and are not related to the controller. It does not happen as often when paired to the FireTV, but I also don't choose to listen to the TV through the headphones often either. I have the Arctis Pro Wireless headsets for my PC and the Arctis 1 Wireless for a couple devices including my Switch and Stadia controller. This is the only SteelSeries headphone I have had any issue with so far. I like the form factor and quality. Pairing the 9X with the Series S was absurdly easy. The sound quality is great in general. The glaring issue is the audio cutting out issue. Super comfortable and works seamlessly with Xbox. Pc is a different story. Randomly turns itself off whenever it wants.

these are extremely comfortable and have phenomenal sound quality as well. the mic conveniently hides when not need and the game/chat dial works great. They get way louder than my previous headset too.

The Artic 9 is a solid headset. Its sound quality is impressive, with clear audio. The headset is comfortable, even during extended gaming sessions. The noise-canceling microphone is great for communication with online gamers.

These headphones make gaming very immersive and they are comfortable. They also easily connect to xbox like you would a controller. Battery life was never an issue. Batteries, which are internal, can last forever on one charge.

I got a pair for myself and my girlfriend. They are very comfortable for long game sessions. The mic is clear when speaking into it. They also look very stylish. I would buy this brand again.

I have been a long time user of Turtlebeach headsets and was wary of changing brands. I decided to give Steelsieries a try given the hype that I have read and heard about them being "competitive gamers choice". I have to say I am disappointed. For $200 I was expecting a higher level of sound functionality, not just a single dial to either turn chat up or in-game volume up with no real balance to it. Not to mention the countless times that I can not hear footsteps approaching until right on me and no real directional dictation.. Where they went right is the ease of syncing to your system and they are overall pretty comfortable to wear over long periods of time, but if your looking for a more immersive headset I would suggest something with a mix amp to be able to adjust to your play style or specific game. I would not waste the $200.

I absolutely love this headset. The sound is crisp and clear for the most part, except for the wireless interference it has from time to time as many have pointed out. SteelSeries needs to issue an update for this. The mic is great, as well as the mic monitoring. I’m able to play 3 or 4 nights straight without charging the battery which is a huge plus and honestly this is the best headset I’ve ever bought.

Sound quality is great until it starts cracking and losing connection. Apparently it has to do with interference from other wireless devices. Other than that they are great. I’m returning them.
