Many also appreciate the convenient Bluetooth functionality. However, some users experienced connection issues and others felt the price was high. A few customers also noted that the bass could be improved and the range was not optimal for all users.

This was a purchase for my son for his gaming. I have tried it and the sound is great. The comfort is fantastic. I have had many different headsets over the years for him where the cord almost always gives out. I have been hunting for a great wireless headset and it’s seamless for his Xbox one.

Bought for my wife. They are super comfortable compared to my A50s and sounds great. Only downside is the microphone quality is not what I’d expect.

I am coming from a DAC to AMP configuration with some beyerdynamic headphones and I can say that compared to that the sound quality for games with these was just not clear and sounded lacking. Sounded great for music surprisingly when I connected it to my phone with bluetooth. But gaming both on PC with the xbox wireless receiver, or on my xbox series x was just not clear and sounded cheap but might be a step up from cheaper "gaming" headsets so if possible do try them. I did get the Sony InZone H7 on sale for $148 after these and those sound soo much better but sadly will only work on PC and PS4/PS5 so I still have no wireless headset for my xbox. I wish the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless were not $350 as those would be the ideal wireless option if it wasn't for the price.

After seeing all the reviews and all the Accolades people have given this company I thought it would be a good pair of headphones boy was I wrong. I was already using a turtle beach 700 which had great sound all around but they had recently broke I saw a sale for this and decide to pick one up. The sound was nowhere near as good. I like to play war zone where the most important thing is footsteps but to hear footsteps you have to crank the volume so loud you go deaf and your ears start to bleed when planes fly over or grenade goes off or firing gun. I was then told to go online download their adjusted sound quality settings all of which were garbage. You would think with a game is big is war zone they would have custom built sound settings for this game. they have ads on their website showing that it's good for warzone ha a lie. But what they do get right is the lightweight feel doesn't tire out your neck or hurt your ear if you wear glass. The mic seem to pick up a little too muc h background noise for my taste.

I was usually using the Xbox (still have it) wired headset. One game night with the boys one of my friend told me about Steelseries and Astros. I looked information about it and I was impressed by Steelseries. So I went and looked for reviews about the geadset. When I saw reviews about the Artic 9x. I bought it and now it's been months using it. I know that It's old the headset but it still go par on par with brand new premium headset

Great headphones, abundant features and familiar branding. These were pretty expensive, yet a great pair of headphones are essential for avid gamers. I would lose connectivity to my Series X intermittently, yet a later update by Microsoft repaired that issue. I would like to have better battery life, yet these cans are reliable and the sound is truly surround.

Love these headphones. Was stuck between these and the astro A50. Went with these for being $100 less and have no regrets. The a50s are great as well but the sound on these is fantastic and the battery life has been so good. Way better than my first gen turtle beaches

I haven't had an issue with the Steel Series brand thus far and really enjoy the quality. Comfortable headset with good sound options. The chat/game mixer is great and comes in handy. Sound quality is great for gaming and really helps you pinpoint footsteps and sound queues easily.

Honestly when it comes to headset and gaming I thought astros were the best but after owing a pair of Astros A50 that I paid 299.99 I must say I really miss these artic 9. The sound on these bad boys amazing the Bluetooth feature allow you to game and pick up phone calls or even listen to music while gaming.

Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves it, specifically wanted a pass through mic (which it has). He says the sound quality is excellent and it is a very comfortable headset--no head or ear fatigue from wearing it for prolonged periods.

When I first got this headset, I instantly fell in love with how comfortable it was. Then it started having connection issues, SO. MANY. CONNECTION. ISSUES. I game pretty regularly, and at least once per gaming session the headset loses connection to my console. I’ll be in the middle of a match, and then out of nowhere it just drops and I can’t hear anything, and I have to turn it back on and wait for it to connect and yeah I have to do that every day. So that’s awful. Also, I wish it had voice prompts for what’s going on with it because there’s like 4 separate jingles for every action and it makes them on it’s on every hour or so. Nice at first, but sucks in the long run, don’t get this headset.

Best sound headset for Xbox compared to the rest. Only complaints are Bluetooth range, build quality is great but earcup area could be reinforced better, voice monitoring is almost non existent. It would be nice if they had a gen 2 version with usb-c but non necessary. I would buy despite my complaints. Sound quality, ease of use is top notch
