It is by far the best headset I've had in both sound and quality. If you can get it when it's on sale it is a great buy.

Decent headset.

So when you are playing a loud FPS with friends you have to either be cool with not hearing footsteps or not hearing them talk. It's hard to find the sweet spot that allows you to comfortably hear both. I'm also not a big fan of the lack of feedback in the mic. I'm used to being able to clearly hear myself with my older Turtle Beaches. You can only hear yourself on this mic if you put it in your mouth.

Quality felt great but then a few months later one side of the speaker blew. I have total tech but it was not worth the hassle do I went with logitech headset instead but I notice my friends would hear me better with the steelseries

Awful.....

They felt great on my head and I thought they sounded great. But they were always cutting out and disconnecting for 5-10 seconds at a time...the worst. I had to get rid of them. $200 down the drain....
