Good audio, terrible microphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headphones themselves are great. However, as gaming headphones the microphone is lackluster and caused me to return them. Feedback was that I sounded like I was at a drive through and sounded tinny. Headphone quality was great and audio sounded perfect. Hopefully they fix this in a software update, but I returned them so I won't know.

Basic Headset
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Average Nothing Special Steel Series gaming headset is a mid-range gaming headset that offers decent performance and features without breaking the bank. In terms of design, the headset has a sleek and minimalistic look, with a black and grey color scheme. The build quality is decent, with a sturdy construction that feels durable. The ear cups are comfortable and fit well over the ears, providing a decent amount of noise isolation. The audio quality of the headset is average, but nothing special. The headset is equipped with 40mm drivers that deliver decent sound, but it lacks the depth and clarity that higher-end gaming headsets offer. The bass is also somewhat lacking, which may disappoint users who enjoy a more immersive gaming experience. The microphone performance is also average. It is detachable, which is a nice feature for those who prefer to use the headset solely for listening to audio. The microphone quality is decent for in-game communication, but it may not be sufficient for professional streaming or recording purposes. The headset is compatible with various platforms, including PC, Mac, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. It has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, making it easy to connect to most devices. The headset also comes with a USB adapter for virtual surround sound, which enhances the gaming experience. One notable downside of the Average Nothing Special Steel Series gaming headset is the lack of customization options. The headset does not come with any software or equalizer settings, so users are limited to the default audio settings. Overall, the Average Nothing Special Steel Series gaming headset is a decent mid-range option for gamers on a budget. While it may not offer the best audio quality or customization options, it provides a comfortable fit and decent performance for casual gaming.

Good audio. Didn't like the fitment.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't like these at all. I have a very sensitive head and when it comes to headphones I'm very picky. So take this review with a grain of salt. Results will vary from person to person. The sound quality was amazing. Had no issues with volume/audio/mic. Those all seemed to work great. My issue was the comfort. They just didn't sit on my head well enough for me.

Best Xbox Series X Headset
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking for a wireless headset for a while for my Series x and i own one steelseries 800x that gave a bad experience for its connection issue. At first i really skeptic about it but Astro A50 has the same issue too till someone told me that i can update Arctis 9x firmware to solve its issue so i decided to give it a try. Been using it till now and totally love it without any issue.
