F in the chat for Steelseries
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely can’t recommend these at all. The first thing you notice during unboxing is how light and cheap they feel, but just wait, your disappointment is just beginning. You look for the charger just to realize it’s still micro USB in the year 2021. You decide you’ll get over it because there’s no way that these headphones don’t SOUND amazing for $200. Sorry bud, disappointment again. Enjoy your flat, muffled game audio and god help if you decide to listen to music through the Bluetooth. I think I’d rather tape two Insignia Bluetooth speakers to my ears and use them as headphones. There are 4 equalizer settings for the headset, none of which made any actual discernible difference in bass or mid response. It’s also disappointing that there’s no companion app nor is there a voice transparency feature on the mic, which you’ll find on much cheaper headsets than this. This review absolutely sounds dramatic, but it accurately displays how frustrated I was with this headset. I was basically skipping through the doors of my Best Buy to return them the very next day.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for the hype had the Rig 8000 and in my opinion for the money they are the best headset way better battery life only downside is you do you have to have a dongle attached to your Xbox or PC steel series is totally wireless but the battery life on the steel seriesIt’s very short while the Rigs lasted a week these last two days the quality of the steel series is fantastic the sound is good just not as good as the price

Could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible headset due to the connectivity it disconnects and doesn't connect back and or turns off when your in the room and doesn't connect automatically when you leave the room and come back. When it finally connects the headset sounds decent but not worth $200 if it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth or Game.

Best headset for the money.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After going through the ringer on headsets I needed a break. Most were cheap plastic and would break like dollar store toys. Then others would just stop responding to input or start popping. Then there are the over priced headset that have no clear/loud sound output. The ARCTIS 9X have the feel and the quality needed to be competitive in FPS games. Don't believe it try a pair.

Step right up to the silicon lottery
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many others say. These things indeed are nice. They feel comfy, the sound is good and lets me hear footsteps in very precise locations, and build quality is solid. However none of this matters when I have to buy a separate pc adapter and have constant audio issues. Here’s a rundown of issues I’ve experienced: Connecting to xbox wireless receiver but not showing as pc input Showing as input and connecting but no game or chat audio Showing as input and full windows/chat audio but no game audio or mic Showing as input and full chat audio and mic but game audio cutting in and out in a clicky, headache inducing way. Disconnecting and not reconnecting until a hardware reset of headphones and/or PC is performed. Overall I really do wish I could love these headphones. But they’re garbage until they make them actually a functional wireless headset.
