Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the excellent sound quality, comfort, and long battery life of the SteelSeries Arctis 9X Wireless Gaming Headset. Many also appreciate the convenient Bluetooth functionality. However, some users experienced connection issues and others felt the price was high. A few customers also noted that the bass could be improved and the range was not optimal for all users.

Amazing sound, customize the settings for each game you play and how it works best for you. Connects easily to the Xbox as well as Bluetooth to my iPhone. Beat headset I have used in over 15 years of gaming.

The best wireless gaming headset available today! There is nothing better. I'll be honest, it fits a little tight on my head, but the quality of the audio is why you buy this!

Bought these for my teenage my son.. He loves them. You can connect to Bluetooth on your phone while gaming and be able to listen to music or take calls, which normally he wouldn't even hear his phone ring...

This headset really lives up to the reviews behind it. I came from hyper x cloud 2 and these blow them away! Great sounds with 4 presets and you can change them via computer. My friends say that the mic quality sounds good and clear.

Great headset, distance is incorrect maybe 10 feet before having issues, sound is amazing and mic is great, chat is crazy clear, going in between Xbox and phone and answering calls or watching YouTube

I bought these as a present for my son and he absolutely loves them. He's a big gamer and says these are the best he has had so far. He can actually hear things he could never hear before. Definitely worth the money!

The quality is good but they have to many problems for me to recommend. They font connect to the xbox easily when I do manage to get them connected after 20 mins of trying they cut in and out. When you walk to far away they disconnect and dont reconnect when you get closer you have to turn the headset off and turn it back on then reconnect to the xbox again and fight it to connect for another 20 mins firmware is terrible on these plus they wont charge 90%of the time and will only charge with the cable they come with and a phone wall charger wont charge plugged into the xbox or any regular usb. When using the bluetooth they are super quiet.

For me personally, this headset didn’t really do it. The biggest problem was that while playing games, I would occasionally hear some static type of noice. This happened randomly, but pretty often, and it was noticeable enough to annoy me. Along with that, the overall quality of the headset and how it operated was pretty mediocre. It did the job, but I had moments where I felt like it was way too quiet for me. Particularly hearing others when I needed it to pick up sound such as their footsteps. This obviously might not be a big issue with single player games. Overall, if you are someone who doesn’t get annoyed by little noises like the ones I mentioned, and you primarily play games that aren’t that reliant on sound, these might be a decent budget option. However, anyone who is looking for a competitive and higher quality headset should look elsewhere. I personally returned this then opted for another Steelseries product, the Arctis Nova 7X. That has been great for me for over half a year, and would absolutely recommend that one over this.

    Wireless headphones that dont work

They sound great when they work but they constantly cut out or lose connection. This is on 3 different sets of 9x headphones and multiple xbox’s. They only work right wired but your paying for wireless that doesn’t work. I have steel series for PC and PS5 and they are great but connection to the xbox has clear issues. Maybe the new 7x are better but steer clear of the 9x’s.

Loved using these headphone. Great sound when playing call of duty and allows you to adjust volume so you can only hear the game and not teammates. Plus listen to music with quality sound.

Unless your a steelseries guy do not get these for 200 bucks when you can get the turtlebeach stealth 700 v2 for 150 which also has Bluetooth and EQ customization but has better sound quality and is 50 bucks cheaper.

I did not purchase these from Best Buy, but directly from SteeleSeries. I'm just here to warn everyone that these headphones are raved and praised by the paid reviewers in actuality they are awful. Range - 2 (disconnect within the room and once out the door you can expect the same) Functionality- 3 the buttons feel good outside the power and bluetooth not feeling too responsive. Comfort-5 they really did go all out when it comes to the cushions and headband.

It works great with Bluetooth while not losing any of the sound quality. It even works when you're not right at your computer so you can listen to some programs while doing some other things.
