Liked this headset, the sound was good but my ears touched the hard plastic on the inside. I found it to be annoying and returned it.

This headset is okay. For this price I expected more out of a headset. The battery life is superb but thats probably because everything else lacks.

The key aspects to this headset that made me buy it - connecting to the PC via Bluetooth (without an Xbox wireless dongle) and connecting to your Xbox via Bluetooth simultaneously. The worst part is that it isn't good at doing either of these. If you connect it to your Xbox for wireless chat, it will ALWAYS turn your Xbox on when you power on the headset. There is no way around this besides unpairing the headset. On top of that, if you have it paired to your Xbox, when you power off your Xbox it will power off the headset. At least, that was my experience, read the later half of this review to determine if that is always true. The connection to the PC via Bluetooth seems to be very fragile. It will drop the connection off and on. I noticed that if I put my hand over the receiver it will just drop the connection altogether. I've tried connecting the headset just to Bluetooth and just to Xbox's Bluetooth by themselves and saw no improvement. So far, I believe there is a defect in the current headset I bought. It will just turn off for no reason after about 10 minutes of use. I let it charge for hours and confirmed it's fully charged. I checked the firmware as well to confirm it was the most up-to-date. Since there is nothing else I can do, I'm just planning on returning the headset. Others have mentioned the lifespan of the headset not being great, so my expectations aren't high here. I plan on spending the extra $100 more on a better quality Astro headset.

Great quality headphones (sound quality and build) but if you have XBox series X dont even think about buying these. They are not compatible with it, even though the box says they are. Ongoing issue with connectivity, they constantly disconnect/reconnect. Microsoft doesnt seem to have any desire to address the issue and SteelSeries don’t seem to care either.

Got this for my series x and I love them. Going wireless was a smart choice. The mute option and sound quality are both fantastic
