The overall sound quality is good. Coming from astro a40s and a50s these feel a little more flat. I love the comfort and womeoght of these. The only real negative for me was the connectivity issues. Buying these new and for this price I had higher expectations. I would have to turn off and back on to reconnect my headset after it drops out.

Overpriced with Issues. Wait for Xbox Headset

This is the best Xbox S/X headset on the market on the market but it still has issues. It's great that I can connect to my phone and Xbox at the same time and control the volume independently. However, I had to reset the headset once because it had a red light and wouldn't charge or turn on/off. If you have this issue, you will need to remove the cushion part and use a paper clip to reset the headset. There are also some connectivity issues (with Series X) as of February 2021. Turning the headset off before you turn off the Xbox will sometimes disconnect the controller and you can't reconnect it unless you completely shut off the Xbox. Also, turning the headset off after turning the Xbox off will bring it back on and cause the controller to lose its connection as well. Overall the headset is good, comfortable, and has decent battery life but the price is too high considering all the issues.

I love them! The only issues I have are sometimes it doesn’t connect well to the Xbox and sometimes has issues picking up certain people in party chat. But otherwise they have great sound quality, great battery life, and are extremely comfortable on your head!

I have had 2 pair in the last 3 years. The first pair lasted about 13 months and the right cup broke at the swivel. Of course it was 1 month out of warranty. I liked the sound quality and fit, so I purchased the second set, this time with the Best Buy extended warranty. 23 months into it they would no longer power up and the right cup was broken at the swivel again. I took them back and Best Buy honored the warranty. On to pair #3 now. I would suggest these headphones for their sound quality, and fit, but buyer beware of the weakness of the plastic cup around the swivel.

This is an extremely comfortable headset. I can wear them for 6+ hrs with no ear fatigue but there is connection issues where it will cut out for a second or two every so often. The issue is not a deal breaker for me because the comfort alone is worth, and the audio quality is tremendous especially with the 4 different preset modes to choose from.

I tried out several different headsets in my search for something that would provide decent audio quality and comfort, but even more importantly a stable connection. In the audio and comfort categories these were a winner, but unfortunately I had consistent connection quality issues. They never fully disconnected, but they had a lot of crackling and static the entire time. I did end up getting the Arctis 7X which are very similiar except that they use a dongle to connect and don't have blue tooth. Would have loved to have the bluetooth, but the connection just wasn't good enough.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He loves the way they sound and they are very comfortable to wear. Although sometimes he has a hard time getting them to stay connected with the bluebooth. I told him for $200 they ought to stay connected and he should return them but he still loves them regardless.

The sound quality is OK. My biggest problem is that you WILL get random disconnects (both from your Xbox and Bluetooth device) or random Shut offs...A LOT. More on this later. I was hoping a firmware fix would address and fix the issues, but a year later...NOTHING. I 've read on their website that there could be interference from Wi-Fi Routers, microwaves etc. but I've troubleshooted and moved things around, but I haven't solved my issues. Positives: They are VERY comfortable. The ski goggle band idea is genius. The foam cups are breathable and you can wear them for hours on end no problem. Battery life is VERY good too, the microphone is good quality as well and they have a premium feel to them. Back to the disconnecting issues. This doesn't happen every time you use them, but I would say that it happens in spurts. When it starts to happen during a session then you can count on them to continue disconnecting and/or turning off over and over during that session, the next day or the following they will work perfectly. Then after a few days you'll get again the random disconnects or shutoffs. Its like the headphones throw a fit. For the price I would find it hard to recommend these headphones. If they didn't have issues, I would have no problem recommending them. Forget about connecting these to a desktop or lap top via Bluetooth. They are unusable with a PC because they disconnect so often. The only reason I didn't return them was because I started encountering these issues after 3 months of use, so I'm not sure what changed but obviously something did to make them start performing bad. Look elsewhere.

The headset has some great sound to it, from friends they say the mic sounds very clear and is a pretty good headset to have all around especially with the long battery life, but there is an issue that since it is solely Bluetooth there is random times the headset will cut sound or make it kind of static. These can last for just a few seconds to multiple minutes or until you basically have to reset the headset and even after there are still some situations where they don't fix and you just have to wait. Other then the audio issue the headset fits great for big ears is comfortable and doesn't give you a headache.

Overall this is the best headset I’ve used for the Xbox Series X. I’ve used Turtle beach stealth 700, Astro A50, & Rig 800X. And the arctis is by far my favorite. It’s lightweight and comfortable. The sound quality is pretty great on the mic and speakers alike. The battery life is superb as well. My only issue I had is with the ear cushions after longer gaming sessions but I just bought some bigger cheap replacements on Amazon and it solves that issue right up.

So far these are the best pair of headphones I have ever used. The feel and construction feel and sound premium. As considering the price for these, one should expect both a quality item and experience. And they’d be satisfied with one of these. The battery lasts for about 2 days. Consider that I play for at least 5+ hours a day. They fit snugly on my head and the strap on top can be stretched to adjust the tightness. It is a common fact that for wireless headphones, sound quality is a common sacrifice. But not for the steel series. Amazing bass and clarity. I highly recommend these for someone who is looking to spend 200+ on a quality gaming headset.

1st I have to say I love this headset. Let me get the 2 cons out of the way. 1. If you have a massive head then the ski strap design will be maxed out and your head will touch the metal strap. 2. in my opinion and this is different for different people but the ear cups are a little shallow. Now the sound on this is killer. Love the retractable mic. Works with Atmos or the windows sonic sound or whatever it is. Mic has a red light to let you know if its muted. Has presets built in and you can tweek and adjust with PC software. Only other down side is guys MICRO USB STILL ?? Really lets just kill Micro USB and do USB C. Also this NO DONGLE! It connects directly to xbox just like your controller does. Will work with PC just buy the PC xbox wireless usb adapter . If you are xbox or PC gaming this is a great headset with out huge base stations and stands with amazing sound and battery life. Go get one ASAP at best buy you will be happy you did

Before using this headset, I was using the arctis 3 and i was shocked using this. 1. The comfort level is insane, i can use this headset for hours on hours of gaming and my head still won’t hurt or get tired from the headset. 2. the charge is decently long but where your constantly connected to an xbox or pc while using your mic it makes sense, but when you’re battery gets low the headset beeps at you 4 times before it dies. the microphone and sound quality are amazing, especially with the 4 eq settings that you can adjust. my favorite feature is having your phone connected while playing. this headset is all around amazing and if you’re on the edge about buying, just do it!!

Comfort and sound are excellent. Bought them for the Bluetooth capability with PlayStation 5 which they claim in the product description. When I contacted the company they informed me that they only work with the cord. You can connect to the controller which is better than the console. Kept because of the quality of the headphones

Excellent headset. Works great with the xbox series x. Only 4 stars because it can mess with the controler connection depending on how you turn on and off the xbox. That can be fixed in an update and you learn how to work it. Also expensive but it is quality.

I have had my headset for over a year now. I personally love it. I do however wish they would offer the 1 yesr warranty through 3rd party sellers. They only offer it through direct purchse from their website. I hoped for this because of my left ear cup became loose due to a flimsy plastic piece breaking. Tbis happened Around 6 months after my purchase. It was a simple fix but would of rather not dealt with it for the price I paid. However besides that the sound is excellent, connectivity is easy, and the bluetooth is awesome. I can easily listen to music from my phone and have it connected to my xbox while gaming. The only time it has disconnected was when I walked to far from my xbox with the headset on. Which was on my second floor and my xbox was in my living room. The headset is a bit pricey but the sound quality and mic clarity is superb.

I really love these when they work. They are so comfy, the battery lasts forever, and the audio is great. Plus, no base station and no wires. BUT, they only connect sometimes, and almost always have interference issues. You can't talk or hear teammates because it cuts in and out. There are similar complaints online. I tried disabling all wireless devices on my router 5g and 2.4g and the issue persists. Also, disconnecting and reconnecting crashes most games. Will return these today and go with the Astra A50.

Amazing headset. It was super easy to connect to the xbox series x because it just required one button press. The controls are fun and easily arranged. The headset itself is probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever used. Used multiple Bose headsets before. The sound is good, although not too bass heavy to provide long term gaming without any kind of headache or ear pain. Brilliant. I thought it would be a problem at first but upon playing for hours on end on fairly high volume, I realize how I was very happy that they didn't do the high bass that Bose does.
