Favorite Headset / broke after only 18 months

I was extremely disappointed when they broke after close to 18 months. I've bought many gaming headsets to try (Astro A40 , HyperX, Razor) , and none of them were comfortable to be to wear long period of times or were wired and I had bad luck with cable shorting. But always felt the plastic around the holding the ear piece to the band was flimsy. One ear side crack completely and now dangling and the other ear was cracking. For $200, i'd at least 3 years out of them if not more. I like them so much , I considered buying a replacement but cannot trust them lasting long. I don't abuse my products and if steel series thinks that the issues just from wear and tear. They are crazy. Its design / material use issue. The durability of this headset is YMMV. You may get lucky and it last you or unlucky and it starts to breakdown after just a few months. I was lucky to get nearly 18 months out of them.

Comfortable and good for the price.

Only issue that I have with them is sometimes there is a very brief "scratching" sound I assume is from the Bluetooth connectivity. I do sit about 20 feet away from my TV and like I said they are very brief. Overall very good headset for the price.

People say they can't hear me

I like how i can play music on my phone while also participating in a game chat. Unfortunately, people complain they can barely hear me. Also battery life seems to be a tad disappointing.
