The headset is super comfortable especially for long hours of gaming. My only complaint is that the people always say my mic is super low volume and I have to adjust where I the headset sits on my head until I get it in just the right spot. However, I don’t tend to talk loudly/yell over the mic to start with. Overall I would buy this again just for the shear comfort and sound quality!

I spent too much time agonizing about taking the risk on this headset. Many users have had connection problems that really shouldn't be happening in a headset for this price range. However, the consistent admission of the high quality of sound was what made me pull the trigger. I do not regret this purchase whatsoever. The sound and comfort are truly remarkable. Playing Resident Evil 7 has been unreal with the surround sound spatial capabilities. As for connection problems, they have been insignificant for me. Really love this product.

t could be a little louder, and sucks that it can not be connected to a Xbox One as well. In todays standards why do we have to purchase two different headsets that cost $200 each? It works great on pc, and is hands down one of if not the most comfortable headsets that I have ever worn. For me to say that is something, I've been a gamer since before online gaming was a thing and have been into music production for over 15 years. It's safe to say that I've owned and used more than my fair share of headsets/headphones. The quality of these are great and the sound is not completely up to my high standards, but are close to it. I have noticed that the drivers (speakers) in these are tuned to be on the bassy side and the mid tones are a little scooped out meaning they took away some of the mid tones and added extra bass. So I would not recommend these for anyone who is into music production and needs that flat response, but for someone that wants something for gaming and to watch movies with will be very satisfied with this set. Every now and again you can hear a humming noise that after some research is a known issue and for some reason is not fixable. One other thing that should be noted here is that the mic in my opinion really sucks. I have a $70 pair of PDP AG9+ that mic is 100x better than the one on this head set. That disappointed me because my main reason for purchasing these where the mic was suppose to be really good. All in all though I do enjoy this head set and I know many others will as well. If these ever broke then I would probably upgrade to the pro series set just to see if that one has similar issues, or if its truly worth the price difference.

Overall a great headset. Pros: Light weight, durable construction/materials, excellent sound quality, memory foam ear cushions, glasses friendly/does not press your glasses into your head, game sound/chat balance wheel, one click mute plus mute indicator light, long 20 hour battery life, bluetooth and Xbox wireless connectivity. Cons: Xbox wireless connection tends to drop if not within line of sight of the console (bluetooth works excellent however even through walls without dropout)

It’ll get interference if your WiFi modem is close by. Mine has to sit in a nook over the fireplace (just by the design of the home) directly behind my mounted TV. Disconnected constantly while gaming to the point I returned it. I HATED doing that, these are BY FAR one of the most comfortable and loud wireless headsets I’ve ever owned. I hope they come out with a patch later on, because I would buy it without hesitation. If your WiFi modem is over 10 feet away from this headset (2.4g signal is the culprit) you’re good and I HIGHLY recommend these over the other big names. I tried switching it off and running the 5g signal instead but it knocked all my smart house features offline, sooooo... not worth the hassle.

These headphones are incredible. I get that some people are complaining about quality, but as long as you care for them I don't foresee any breakage issues. These are not meant for children. They are an advanced headset meant for adult gamers. First, you can tell that a lot of thought and love went into creating these. These were made by gamers for gamers. There are thoughtful touches throughout. Just about everything you could want to do is covered. Sound quality is excellent. Yes - at a long (15+ feet) distance the audio cuts out due to a loss of connection. This is not a problem to me, because I don't game from 15ft away. I sit about 6 feet back. Audio lag is imperceptible, if it even exists. Being able to control volume, voice chat / game audio balance, mute, direct from the headset is very useful and easy to do. Having the option to connect your phone and take calls *while* gaming, and still hear the game, is a very nifty and useful feature. Something you don't know you need/want until you have it. Sky-style headband is very comfortable and adjustable. I have large "dumbo ears" and I do find that I wish the cups were slightly larger and deeper. However I only notice discomfort after many hours of gaming. And it is easily remedied by repositioning the headset slightly. Honestly if you game that long, the comfort of your ears is one of the last concerns. If you wear glasses: these may be slightly uncomfortable to you for extended play sessions. This is just due to the slight constant pressure of eye glasses into the side of your head. Otherwise, the headset cushions are incredibly soft and comfortable. Battery life is awesome. I game for a very long time on occasion, like all day. I've never had these drop below half battery. I just stick them into the charger when I'm done. Yes - you can use the USB port on the back of your Xbox Series X to charge. What else can I say? Buy these. You won't be sorry you did.

This is my first wireless Xbox headset coming from a wired Razer Kraken set. I noticed the bass isnt quite as powerful as the Razer but by no means is it weak or bad. I've had a couple connection issues but not during game-play. When I turn on the console and turn on the headphones, chat audio doesn't come through sometimes at first but its quickly fixed by turning them off and back on. I like the sound, the simplicity, the fit, and how the mic lights up red when muted. I wish the ear piece fabric was leather, but the fabric is well ventilated so, cant complain.

Steelseries has crafted a beautiful headset here. All of my online friends noticed a drastic improvement in the mic quality coming from my old Rig 800LX, and the sound quality is fantastic and clear, with great detail to directional audio (note: I am using Dolby Atmos via Xbox One X). Battery life is very good so far. The noise cancellation/sidetone feature for this headset are excellent! For anyone experiencing audio cutouts or choppiness, it could be due to wireless interference from other devices. I have not personally experienced dropouts of audio.

The sound is pretty solid. Also comfortable to use. Audio controls are easy to use and volume adjustment is nice to have. Downside I’ve had with these and almost returned them because of this. But even with Xbox proprietary wireless these disconnect at times. Then randomly these will drop all audio completely but not disconnect from the Xbox. Turning off and on fixes it and they connect quick enough. But does happen occasionally. Not worth the price and wouldn’t buy again. But I left for vacation when my return date expired so I’m stuck with them.

Headset connects like a controller to the xbox and gives you the ability to also connect to your phone via blue tooth for calls or music. Really easy to pair. Battery Life is great. Controls on headset work as expected and the red light notating muted is a plus. Sound quality is also very good especially when using the dolby atmos setting on the xbox. Only downside is if you walk to far away from xbox they will disconnect and the you have to manually reconnect them by power cycling your headset when you get back in range.

After reading many reviews and watching YouTube videos to decide on a headset I chose these after using Razer Nari Ultimates on PlayStation these were the logical choice. I had a hard time connecting them about 30 minutes and several retries they finally connected and have stayed connected every since. These have to be updated and “tinkered” with but once done they sound amazing spot on precision playing games like call of duty with surround sound and very comfortable to use.

I really like this headset. Pros: feels sturdy, the mic works if extended or in the holster, when wearing over both ears- it's very noise cancelling, battery seems to last forever. Cons: doesn't like connecting to the series x, if I try to turn headset off first, it disconnects my controller from the series x, which is a strange glitch. Turning on and off is not intuitive. Not the most comfortable headset I've ever had for xbox, but very functional. Bottom line: I'd recommend if the 2 bills doesn't hurt your feelings. Better than the Turtle Beaches I've had but worse than the RIG that this replaced.

These are the best headphones I've ever owned. Period. Superior sound and comfort. Very good build. I had one major problem with them, connectivity. They would not stay connected to my original xbox one for longer than about 2 hours. I'd like to think that was my xbox and not the headset, but i have a series x now, and don't have these headphones. My suggestion if you have a newer xbox give them a shot, they are worth at least trying.

The setup of these is very simple and the fit is very comfortable. Reviews hint at them losing connection with the xbox, which i did experience once so far. Turning them of and back on seemed to resolve the issue. The sound on these is impressive. The power button can be hard to find but may just take some getting use to. Overall happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Just upgraded from the Steel Series Arctis 1 to the Steel Series Arctis 9x. It was the best investment I made in awhile. The sound Quality is superior l. The fit is just right. And retractable mic is a winner. Also a long battery life is another highlight. Don't waste anymore time and make the jump.

Best headset I have ever had. It’s very comfortable and the battery holds its charge for a very long time motto mention it fully charged in about 30 minutes maybe a little longer. The sound is amazing it has a better range than the Astros Turtle Beach Lucid Sound etc. all which cost more money plus the chat is great too and the mic is great plus it retracts all the way into the left earphone but you may still use it. I highly recommend their headset you’ll love it and the price is great for how great they are!!

This headset has great comfort and sound, though once you adjust the headsets audio eq in steelseries engine, it doesn’t save for too long, and will reset after just a few days. Great headset, but this definitely gets annoying, as the base eq it resets to doesn’t sound the best, and will constantly need fixing.

I have tried all the top headsets over the past few years and the Arctis series keep ending up my favorite. I purchased these 9X to replace the Arctis Pro that were not fully compatible with my Xbox X. The 9X are a great choice for Xbox systems cannot wait to use them my Series X soon. They sound great and getter louder than my Arctis Pros also very comfortable and good battery life. I have had zero connectivity issues works great with the Xbox proprietary connectivity system.
