The Arctis Nova 5P Wireless gaming headset is capable of multiplatform usage. It is compatible with the newest gaming platforms as well as Mac/Windows machines, along with Switch and Meta Quest devices. This over the ear headset comes with over one hundred audio presets, making it most likely to have the proper preset for your devices and games. You can also make your own preferences if needed when using the headset on a computer. The headset is ready to use right out of the box. While the headset is labeled as wireless, there is a dongle provided to utilize 2.4 gigahertz wireless ensure you have an open USB-C slot. Bluetooth does not require the use of the dongle and thus provides a longer battery life. The battery is expected to last for 50 hours on the dongle and 60 hours on Bluetooth. The microphone is hide-away along with noise cancelling. The over the ear speakers are comfortable and adjustable for the maximum comfort of the wearer. Overall the Arctis Nova 5P headset has excellent playback.

The Bluetooth feature does not work well. It keeps disconnecting. Not good for work purposes

The SteelSeries - Arctis Nova 5P Wireless Gaming Headset is great. First of all, it is very comfortable for me to wear for hours at a time. I have a medium-sized head, though, and do not think they would work well for large-sized heads. But for me, they’re great. The sound was strong, clear and well-articulated - great for gaming. I actually needed to turn the volume down a bit from my usual level once I began using the Nova 5P. Using the RF adapter was a no-brainer on my gaming laptop. Just plug it in and it worked immediately. The Bluetooth set up was the same as most bluetooth devices I’ve worked with - pretty straightforward. I love the ability to connect to both RF and Bluetooth at the same time - and switch back and forth as needed. I was initially concerned though, when my first use-scenario was being connected to my gaming laptop via RF and then connecting to my AppleTV via bluetooth. In that configuration, I found that the connection with the AppleTV was disconnected whenever I returned to it after listening via the RF setting. However, when I connected the bluetooth to my iPhone, I had no problem switching back-and-forth between it and the RF and maintaining the connections for both. I’m convinced the initial problem springs from the AppleTV’s propensity to disconnect bluetooth devices after they appear to be inactive. Something to keep in mind if your desired scenario is gaming and AppleTV. Personally, I like using the volume dial offered on the Nova 5P as opposed to the more-common up and down buttons found on others. I also appreciate the fact that the mic fully retracts and ‘disappears’, since I mostly game solo. On the other hand, the mute light on the mic is another nice touch for when it is in use. Bottom-line: I am thoroughly enjoying my SteelSeries - Arctis Nova 5P Wireless Gaming Headset.

The SteelSeries - Arctis Nova 5P Wireless Gaming Headset is frankly one of the most versatile headsets I have ever run across. Providing both Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4ghz WiFi is a game changer. No latency gaming and clear voice via the ingenuous retractable microphone is second to none. The clarity when people hear you is astounding. As for the sound quality it is very good, crisp and clear. This headset is also very comfortable to wear with a flexible fabric adjustable headband. Battery mife is also stellar and rated for almost sixty hours, with a quick charging feature that delivers six hours of use with a fifteen-minute charging session via the USB-C port. The ability to toggle between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connections and having a roller style volume control is really cool. You can also download their mobile app for iOS or android and have presets for each of your games. The is very useful and intuitive. Overall this is a winning headset that is good at just about everything. These are a great set of headphones perfect for gaming or pairing with any Bluetooth device. It comes with a wireless pairing dongle or you can connect via Bluetooth for devices that support it. It's also easy to switch between the two modes depending on the device you want to use. The audio is also fantastic whether gaming, on a video call, or even just listening to music. The fold-in microphone is also a great touch so you can keep it out of the way when only listening to audio and not talking. When extended, it works great though and everyone on the other end could hear me perfectly. It's also very comfortable and I've been able to wear it for hours at a time without any discomfort. The leather ear cups and the headset itself also just feels like a high quality piece of equipment. Overall, I am very satisfied with these gaming headphones/headset and highly recommend for anyone looking for great audio quality, crisp clear microphone recording and the flexibility of using Bluetooth or an RF dongle.

Insane battery life. Have to charge once every 2 weeks. Great audio quality.
