Very good sound quality. Bad durability ive had this for 1 year and 5 months the earcup broke and the cable conecting to the headphones is tearing. I was expecting a 200 dollar headset to last me at least 4 years. Not to mention the dial function of the wheel to separate game and party audio doesn’t work at all.

Good Sound, Bad Durability

For the first few months of owning this headset there were no problems and the sound was great. However, after barely a year there was rattling in both earpieces and only a short time more one earpiece snapped off. This happened despite being very careful with the headset for its whole duration. Do not buy unless you're willing to buy it again in one year.

I'm happy with the way this sounds. But I'm no audiophile.
the problem is durability.
I'm adding a picture to several here that show the swivel mechanism pulling out of one of the ear cups.
I purchased this in early September, returned it at the end of October because the cable frayed at the ear cup, exposing the wires to abrasion and stress.
I'm not having that problem now because I'm carefully routing the cable in a gentle curve around the cup.
The second headphone's ear cup failed toward the end of February.
Extended warranties are supposed to be bad ideas, otherwise they loose money for the provider. I always get extended warranties for mice and headphones, and they tend to pay off.
I prefer this headset's retractable mic, to plug in mics.

These headsets were working perfectly fine. I love the audio & the noise cancellation. The only problem I am having, is that I have not had these headsets for more than a year, & the ear piece has already broke off.

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro delivers on all fronts — sound quality, comfort, and build. From the moment I plugged it in, the audio was crystal clear. The highs are sharp, the mids are clean, and the bass hits hard without being overwhelming. Whether you're immersed in a cinematic game or trying to pinpoint enemy footsteps in a shooter, this headset does not disappoint.
Comfort-wise, it's top-tier. The ear cushions are soft and breathable, and the adjustable headband gives a secure yet comfortable fit even during long gaming sessions. It’s lightweight enough that I forget I’m wearing it sometimes.
The retractable mic is a great touch — clear voice pickup and noise cancellation work great for team chat. Plus, it’s compatible with PC, PS5, and PS4, which makes it a flexible choice if you switch between platforms.
Overall, the Arctis Pro feels like a premium headset at a fair price. If you're looking for wired reliability and excellent performance, this is a solid pick.

Nothing like buying a $170 headphone to have the mic and the RGB light stop working. Horrible customer service from Steel Series. Opened a ticket. No response weeks later.
Not worth the price,

As a dedicated PC and PlayStation gamer, having high quality audio really enhances the gaming experience for me. That's why I was eager to purchase the SteelSeries Arctis Pro wired gaming headset from Best Buy. After using this headset for immersive gameplay across various titles, I can confidently say it provides an amazing audio experience that any gamer will love.
The first thing you notice with the Arctis Pro is the crisp, clear sound quality produced by the high-resolution drivers. Explosions rumble with bass, dialogue comes through crystal clear, and I can precisely pinpoint directional noises like enemy footsteps in surround sound. The DTS Headphone:X v2.0 technology creates an incredibly realistic and nuanced soundscape that fully immerses you.
Beyond sound, the comfort of the suspended headband design and Airweave ear cushions allow me to wear this headset for hours without any pinching or pain. The retractable mic also ensures my voice comes through loud and clear for multiplayer chatting.
For high fidelity gaming audio that makes you feel like you're right in the action, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro headset is hard to beat. It provides incredible sound immersion across various games. Thanks to Best Buy for supplying this top-tier gaming headset option. Five stars for outstanding audio performance!

Terrible design. Earcups break off easily. Do your research on these before buying. Numerous issues with users reporting same problem of earcups literally falling off and no easy way to repair. Customer service does not respond or reply to customers.

This is my first pair of SteelSeries headphones, been wanting to try for a long time based on rave reviews. There is no doubt that the sound quality is excellent. But there are some down sides. First of all, the software is a bit clunky and feels like bloatware. Do I really need all these bells and whistles? Probably not. Most of them are more of a distraction than a help. Is it software, or is it advertising?
If you plan on using these with a console as I am, you will not be able to use any software, which is a blessing and a curse. You feel like you are missing out, but are you really? Yes and no. I would not buy another pair of SteelSeries headphones if it means I need this software to make the most of them.
There were some conflicts with my pre-existing Creative external sound card when I plugged them into my PC to try for a firmware update (apparently there wasn't one). Reverting back to my Creative device was harder than it should have been (along with some very loud, unpleasant distorted sounds), so I wound up uninstalling all the SteelSeries software.
Note that these are not wireless so you will need to use connecting cable.
In terms of comfort, these headphones feel hot! Not literally hot, but the ear cups cover your ears thoroughly with a fabric that is the opposite of cool-feeling. Since I am used to the cool feeling of faux leather and live in a hot humid climate, I do not like this fabric. If you live in cool weather or are constantly in A/C, then you probably won't mind the fabric. May even like it.
The sound quality is a vast improvement over the Sony Pulse 3D wireless headset they replaced -- richer, fuller, punchier, cleaner. They are also more comfortable if the insulating hotness doesn't bother you.

Its sound and mic quality are insane went from an artics 5 and notice a big jump in difference. This is by far the best headset i ever used. I bit tight on the head out of the box, but you can adjust the strap. If your bald like myself your going to love this headset extremely comfortable and incredible sound quality. Downside the application sometimes wont notice your headset. There is something odd i noticed not sure if its windows or the headset itself. But you have to adjust the right ear side to max sound. In setting sounds and more settings. So some tweaking might be required. But the best headset ever.

The headset's strong points are sound quality, comfort, build. I believe this headset will give most users their best experience in game
The only issue I personally have with the headset is the inability to adjust game volume and voice chat separately. I personally like game volume over chat in pvp games.
So while this issue exists it doesn't outweigh the headset's other advantages. This might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, depending on individual preferences.

Comfortable and high quality headset. It's got a good aesthetic, a nice range of sound, and mostly easy to use software to compliment. Only downside is the microphone quality is not the best compared to others of a similar price range, but this is still a great headset despite that.

These really are noise cancelling! My son loves them. He had them on and I knocked on his door and didn't hear me, I announced myself as I walked up the stairs, but he didn't hear me. He looked up and saw me standing there and said I scared the #*it out of him. He said wow these things really do cancel out all the other noise! He said they are very comfortable and sound quality is amazing.
