Customers admire the Arena 7 2.1 Bluetooth Gaming Speakers for its sound quality, attractive RGB lighting, and strong bass. The speakers are also praised for their sleek design, ease of setup, and suitable size for desktops. However, a few customers have reported issues with the SteelSeries GG software on Windows 11. Overall, the positive aspects of the speakers seem to outweigh the software concerns for most users.

Overall the best sound on monitor or pc speakers i ever had ,truly immersive
The only complain i have is that it cannot be adjusted via app settings only if conected to a pc, if one day is possible no speakers will be able to beat it

Amazing sound quality, app even has the ability to reflect what’s on the screen, I would give this 5 stars but the app is also super buggy. DO NOT DO THE FIRMWARE UPDATE!!! I had to go through a super annoying process to fix it lol, but overall I highly recommend it!

Great sound with rgb and unique video game presets for famous titles. I will say the optical port is a challenge to connect and get it to work but besides that, these are wonderful mid-range speakers. They get pretty loud for its size but easily causes sub/ room rattle when cranked all the way up (room rattle has nothing to do with the speakers but small objects that rattle like windows or light objects). Features easy headphone output but I would rather connect my headset to the PC aux port. One more downside is to do with the SteelSeries Sonar software, which occasionally resets everything (causes vary, such as from using a different audio source) so will have to uninstall and reinstall the Sonar app on my PC when this happens. But you get what you pay for and these are gaming speakers and not studio monitors, so does wonderfully for what its meant to do. It is one of if not the best gaming speakers on the market in 2024. I tried couple other speakers like the Logitech Z625, Logi G560, and some other set I can’t remember. But, these are little higher in price but the quality and loudness exceeds the other ones I have tried. And the rgb is nice when youre a couple of drinks deep during pregame and want to throw on some music. Again for me the major issue was the optical port just doesnt work well- it barely outputs clear audio sounds like a kid raging and crushing a bag of chips. Steelseries didnt give me a straight answer to fix this so I have procrastinated this for another month. If you have $300, close your eyes and buy this as there’s really not great gaming or general speakers unless you get studio monitors or sound systems that cost few bands. Close your eyes and buy it, you can always return if not satisfied. Lastly, I found the user manual to be pretty useless as it explains elementary features or functions but I always look at user manuals to judge how much work has been put into a product. And if you want individual ratings on features, I would give 3/5 for connectivity, 4/5 for loudness, 5/5 for sound quality of speakers & subwoofer, 5/5 for rgb at the back of the R&L speakers, 3/5 for price, 4/5 for looks, and 7/10 for maintenance.

I got these with a certain size in mind, but boy they are a good size. Makes the price a lot more reasonable. Sounds amazing and the bass is great not being at even halfway. The lighting is beautiful and vibrant, pairs perfectly with my other steelseries products.

I love the sound quality. It can be very loud and the subwoofer has a solid kick to it. The lights are a nice addition to my setup. They are sleek speakers that fit perfectly between my monitors.

I’ve been using the SteelSeries Arena 7 for a while now, and it’s been a great all-around entertainment speaker for my setup. I mainly use it for movies, gaming, and music, and it handles all of that really well. The sound is clean and full, definitely good enough for my everyday use.
The subwoofer has honestly been the biggest surprise. For its size, it delivers a strong, punchy bass that adds a lot without drowning everything else out. It keeps things balanced whether I’m watching action scenes or playing something with heavier low-end.
Using the SteelSeries Sonar software has also been super easy. The presets work well if you just want something quick, but it’s also simple to make your own custom EQ wave if you like adjusting things yourself. Sonar also has an option for spatial audio, and it’s actually not bad at all — it adds a wider feel to the sound without making it seem fake or overdone.
Overall, the Arena 7 has been a solid choice. It looks good, sounds good, and fits right into how I like to use my setup.

Very good in my opinion ofcourse if you want some audiophile stuff id look elsewhere but if your looks for a good pair for speakers that can be adjusted very well the 10 parametric eq gives alot of adjustment in sonar over usb it sounds great id imagine bluetooth would sound pretty crapy due to blu tooth codecs but for a all around system with the rgb i think its fair for the price i personally wouldnt get the arena 9 at the price is costs i think the 7 is better

I love this little setup for my computer.
I have zero complaints or issues.
Bluetooth connectivity is awesome.
Led lights are entertaining and also easy to turn on and off with the press of one button.
Sounds great honestly plenty loud, no distortion at max volume, decent bass.
Volume fades on slowly which is also great so it won't scare you if you left it on a high volume and forgot.
I would buy this setup again for sure.

The elephant in the room, its a $300 2.1 system. That being said, the sound qaulity is quite good. If you are into it, the rgb lighting is nice. Really happy with it overall. Gets very loud and remains clear. Some decent boom for the sub. Happy with it overall.

Loving these so far, had them for 2 weeks. Setup was very easy, they sound great and the RGB is nice and bright.
I haven't tested the RGB controller app for steel series Arena 7's, so they are just set as the rainbow transition.
I watched these for 2 years-ish for a price drop

I really wanted to like them and keep them as a replacement for my 6-year old Logi Z625 speakers, but these do not provide an improvement. They lack soundstage big time, audio stream from the satellites is very directional while bass seems to shake the floor, but I can't feel any bass. My old Z625 with Optical cable actually has a much wider soundstage and the subwoofer produces more frequencies and you can really feel the depth of the bass.
Arena 7's do have good vocals/high frequencies since satellites have their own tweeters, but narrow soundstage just does not let them shine.
Another con is that the bass knob control is on the subwoofer, it can be hard to reach.
Arena 7's RGB lighting looks great. If I did not have any speakers right now, I would've kept these just for RGB.
If you want RGB and good vocals - go with Arena 7, if you want better soundstage and deeper wider bass - get Z625 w/Optical cable.

The steelseries gg software is very problematic on windows 11. It will sometimes randomly lose it's mind and have no audio out of any device requiring the restart of sonar and setting the default outputs back. When this happens it breaks the windows 11 quick settings functionality (the menu doesn't pop) and you need to reboot to gain the functionality back.
The speakers themselves sound good, but be aware that it does not come with a 3.5mm cable if you are trying to get these set up on a multi input monitor. You also need the steelseries gg software to set the colors (or just turn the lights off with a double tap on the function button on the right speaker).
My recommendation would be to not use the steelseries gg software at all, it's janky.

I'm using optical output. Really clean highs, mids and punchy bass. The bass control knob is so convenient. The spatial audio sounds ridiclously good, full and is immersive. Dialogue in games isn't muffled and very clear and loud. Setting up sonar for it adds so much more quality to already great sounding speakers.
