I'm using optical output. Really clean highs, mids and punchy bass. The bass control knob is so convenient. The spatial audio sounds ridiclously good, full and is immersive. Dialogue in games isn't muffled and very clear and loud. Setting up sonar for it adds so much more quality to already great sounding speakers.

The steelseries gg software is very problematic on windows 11. It will sometimes randomly lose it's mind and have no audio out of any device requiring the restart of sonar and setting the default outputs back. When this happens it breaks the windows 11 quick settings functionality (the menu doesn't pop) and you need to reboot to gain the functionality back. The speakers themselves sound good, but be aware that it does not come with a 3.5mm cable if you are trying to get these set up on a multi input monitor. You also need the steelseries gg software to set the colors (or just turn the lights off with a double tap on the function button on the right speaker). My recommendation would be to not use the steelseries gg software at all, it's janky.

These speakers are amazing. Fantastic sound, love the RGB Lighting. These are worth every dollar. Do yourself a favor and pick these up.

Sound quality is great, price is fair. Only complaint is that the main power switch is on the back of the sub, so its inconvenient to access if you keep the sub on the floor under a desk. No other issues. Worth the money.

I can’t believe the clear robust sound this little system produced. The bass is amazing and it’s so clear. The RBG lighting is a nice touch. I love the fact it has an ear phone jack. It allows me to use my monitor with my PS5 and still use the speakers, while not having to unplug my speakers from my PC. This a must buy for anyone looking for a new system for their PC.

These speakers were super easy to set up and sound absolutely phenomenal. They are my second Steel Series product and I’m going to be a life-long customer for all my gaming audio needs. The subwoofer gives an amazing bass that will shake the walls at high volumes and always gets a funny reaction when I show them to someone. The sound is very crisp and clear. Excellent sound quality, and beautiful design. The lights really bring a setup together. Only complaint is the ambient light reflect mode doesn't work with HDR content. Small gripe, overall awesome set of speakers.

These speakers are incredible, I wanted these because I thought they sounded nice in the store and the lights were cool. They went on sale and I finally decided to take the leap of faith and better then I expected! They would even be worth full price. The light adds a cool background color like I wanted and the sound is INCREDIBLE. Great for gamers and a bug speaker upgrade with out going over the top. Would highly recommened!

Whole thing fits great with the aesthetic that I have, all of my peripherals are SteelSeries and this was my final piece, so that's why I went with it. I am incredibly pleased with the sound quality and it can get loud enough to where I can hear it quite literally across the house, the customization of the equalizer is solid as is the led they all have.

Just exchanged my first Arena 7 for another set because the left speaker LED is much lighter than the right. I am coming from Logitech Z506 5.1, which is nearly impossible to beat for the price back in the day. I also bought the Z906 5.1 and the Arena 7 at the same time. The Arena 7 max volume with my preferred EQ setting is only about 27%-30% output capacity of the Z906. However, the more I listen to the Arena 7, it's tuned almost perfectly for any desktop/laptop non theatre setting. Maybe I am getting older, but I don't necessarily need a "loud" set up anymore. The RGBs do not adapt to everything you are watching or listening to. It works about 80% of the time. I wish there was about 25% more volume. The rich balanced sound seals the deal.

If you’re looking for something with bass, this is the perfect item. It sounds just like a surround sound system. I would really recommend this for anyone looking for a nice piece of speakers. It’s worth the price for sure.

Great for desktop gaming! I use it with my ps5, Samsung odyssey g5 monitor, and desk set up. Great for both work stuff with my Mac and immersive ps5 gaming

I have been using these for about a month now without any complaints. They were a definite upgrade to my old speakers and were setup in minutes.

I've absolutely been enjoying these RGB gaming speakers! They have tremendous bass and sound that can be adjusted to either media, games, etc. I'm also a fanatic for RGB lights so that was a special bonus.
