The aesthetics and design are beautiful and went perfectly with my battlestation/office, unfortunately...visual appeal is where these stop delivering. If we were only discussing the front and center channels, there'd be a small talk to be had about clarity (lack of distortion), but that would ultimately be undermined by the lack of range these speakers provide due to the mid driver being only a couple inches bigger than the tweeter. With all that said, the worst part about these speakers is the rear channel wireless connectivity (only 1 rear speaker is wireless, the other is wired to it)...these rear channels have SERIOUS issues with crackling, static and popping, so unless you enjoy the soothing sounds of a yule log burning superimposed over your music, and constant complete audio cut out, I'd avoid the 5.1 version of this and just get the 2.1 and 3.1 versions. Excellent sound same as material, lights are diming control, just what I was looking for.

Nice system but need user friendly instructions to connect to computer. Could use a CD or software to program the speakers a little easier

Great surround sound system! The reason for taking away 2 stars. I owned it for less than 2 weeks and the RGB light at the base on the FL channel went out. The reason for the other star is that it takes a bit of tuning to get the system working right. Overall, great immersive sound, I decided to return it and go a different route with some speakers I already had.

I have it plugged into my PC and it just makes me feel like im in tbe game and when i play music while i clean, the sound it makes is phenominal 10/10 recomend!

Speakers are great the software is great! I also bought the microphone and its great! The noise canceling on the microphone works great.

Love the SteelSeries Arena 9 works out of the box and has fantastic spatial audio would recommend it.

Rear speakers had crackling and popping from day 1. After several months I decided to initiate a warranty replacement. SteelSeries support makes you destroy your current speakers (cut the cables, destroy connections, etc.) and send them proof before they will send a replacement set. Their support told me it would take 1-2 days to ship out the replacement set. I communicated to them that I was hesitant to destroy my speakers because I use my computer for work and had no other way to get audio. They assured me the replacement set would ship quickly. I am coming up on day 4 and the replacement speakers still haven't shipped. I asked for my ticket to be escalated to a supervisor today, and they were unable to provide me any updates on my replacement set and when it would ship. Based on my experiences on both the quality of the product out of the box combined with the nature of the replacement policy, I wouldn't recommend buying SteelSeries products.

The old school speaker systems are back and these guys did a phenomenal job!

While setup is easy enough, the audio quality leaves a lot to be desired. It is pretty garbled and noisy. My old 13 year old speakers which is starting to fail actually sounds better than these expensive speakers from SteelSeries. I expected more from this company, especially considering how expensive this speaker set is. I am a software engineer and computer geek so I'm not new to this stuff. I tried everything and could not get these speakers working right. To me there is 1 of 2 possibilities: 1. I just got a defective set. Now while this is certainly possible it doesn't say much for their quality control that they would allow a defective set to ship out of the factory. 2. Badly designed. This would be even worse than option 1 that the design could cause this problem. Whichever of the 2 is the cause, I have lost faith in this company and have refunded these speakers and am going with Klipsch.

Very easy to set up, these sound amazing. I am using them on my PC. Very clean, clear sound. They are a bit pricey, but sound very good.

Compact but very well build easy to setup and sound amazing rear speakers can be wall mounted if wanted
