I'd love to be able to comment more on the quality and functionality of this controller. Unfortunately it does not work at all for Steam games even with a controller emulator installed. Therefore it is essentially a useless hunk of metal and plastic for any modern gaming.

I had looked at both the Steelseries and the Logitech and thought the Steelseries might have more support since they make a lot of gaming devices for the PC. They had barely any supporting software(a driver) for this device on their website and in order to truly get it working properly I would have to install software from a 3rd party. Using the search function to search for 3GC on their website won't even locate the device. I made the decision to return it rather than risk software I don't trust.

For how low the price is for this paddle it works good on all device that uses the usb.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but expected more. Plugged it in and messing around with some settings got the PC to recognize it. I expected it to work like the PS3 controller since it looks like a clone of one. However, the R1 and R2 buttons do not function the same; unlike the PS3 controller the buttons are either full on or full off, there is no modulation like you need for the throttle and brake in a racing game. Might work well for some other games but not for a racing game.

I have had several of these controllers over the past few years and found this to be one of my favorites. It has an easy connection to my computer and controls are very smooth. Other controls I have used bugged out from time to time on games, but this one has remained consistent. I highly recommend

It says its compatible with MACs but it isn't. We tried to troubleshoot and nothing. One of the downfalls of non-console gaming is making sure things will actually work with your system.

A solid gaming controller for PC. It is very rugged controller.

Its not a bad device for what it is. However, it feels like for what its being marketed as it really drops the ball. By default, the right analog is disabled making the computer only recognize the input as another d-pad. This is easy enough to fix by pressing the mode button in the middle of the controller, but why this was an option in the first place is puzzling. In addition, documentation stating this was an option would have been nice too. Also, its not recognized as a windows controller even after installing the drivers and completely useless manager program from SteelSeries support site. So if you want to play anything like Borderlands 2, Grid, Call of Duty, or any big blockbuster game you have to use a mapping program like xpadder for each game separately. Although it may be more expensive, I would highly recommend purchasing a wireless receiver from Microsoft instead so you can just use a wireless xbox 360 controller without all the hassle. Or if you can find any still, plug and play usb xbox 360 controllers will work as well.

This controller has 2 modes which affect the feel of the anolog sticks, in one the anolog stick is overly loose, but in the other the inputs dont register as easily. Also this controller has an awkward fell to it.

This pad works smoothly and has great reaction times.

I had to return this controller because Windows 8 has a lot of trouble recognizing the controller and most games just don't like it or the drivers.

I bought this controller because one game I have won't work properly with an XInput controller (the left and right triggers MUST be independently accessible, and older games don't work like that with XBox game pads.) For that game, this game pad works just fine. There's nothing particularly wrong with this controller, but it's just not quite as nice as my XBox game pads. My only real complaint is that once I turn on "turbo" for a button, there's no way to turn it off without unplugging the controller. This means restarting the game, which is kind of annoying. So it gets a 4 out of 5 because while everything works, the "turbo" function is annoying and unnecessary.

Wanted to play games without having to use keyboard

This is my first pc controller experience, so I can't be sure how it compares to others. Overall it seems to be a good product--I trust in the brand and it seems to do what it's supposed to. My only gripe so far is that the default button settings are off and need to be re-mapped. Plus, I had to look on here to find out why the right joystick wasn't working (you have to turn turbo off). Basically I have to do a lot of googling just to set it up properly, so that's a pain, but once that's done it should be smooth sailing. It's worth the price, at least.

Decent controller. Using it with an iMac, so it was a bit of a pain to set up, but that's not the controller's fault. Does what it should.
