This steel series mouse is accurate and snappy. It handles gaming well and pairs nicely with my macbook when im on the go. It has changeable DPI with the switch button and feels very good in the hand. My only fownside is its a little heavy having to use 2 batteries. I love this mouse.

Works relatively well. USB not needed like a standard wireless mouse. Cannot be used on more than one device (even when not on Bluetooth setting, it is connected without USB to one device only). But does function as a mouse for the one device.

Initially seemed great. Connect via Bluetooth or usb attachment which is easily stored inside self if using Bluetooth. Now when using the usb tag you have to unplug and replug every time you start up pc, it doesn’t naturally detect the mouse on its own. Bluetooth now wasn’t working nearly at all. Mouse was flashing blue looking for a pc and my pc wasn’t detecting on any of them. Very annoying as I could only use the usb piece which in hand kept disconnecting if my pc fell asleep or had to restart.
I like you can easily change click speed and adjust within series app on pc but the reconnect and disconnect gets frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

If you are looking for a great budget wireless mouse, look no further. The mouse is lightweight but not too light, feels solidly built, fast response time, and the ability to switch between bluetooth and 2.4ghz wireless connections quickly and easily. The performance is great and feels like it’s punching above its weight class with the sheer amount of customization options opened up to you once you download its GG software. This mouse feels like it could be used for professional FPS play. You have the ability to change X and Y DPI sensitivity independently, adjust polling race, angle snapping, and many other options. The fact that they have four color options as well, this is a recipe for success. I’ve had many Steelseries products and they’ve all held up quite well so I feel confident about the build quality now and in the future.
My list of cons are short, I have big hands and while it’s not too small, it’s on the smaller side. And while I wish it was charged via USB-C, it uses 2 AAA batteries. I have rechargeable batteries so it’s not a deal breaker and I’m sure for some they would rather have this than USB-C charging.
Overall this is a fantastic choice if you are a gamer on a budget or even if you are not, the Steelseries Rival 3 Gen 2 mouse is an easy hit.
Pros:
Excellent price
Feels great to use
Great performance
Many color options
GG Software offers a lot of customization
Cons:
A little small for someone with big hands
2 AAA batteries and not USB-C charging (a pro for some)

This is my first SteelSeries product and I’d have to say I’m very impressed by it. It has a solid build quality without being overly heavy. It connects right away with no lag or loss of signal. The buttons have a nice feel. The wheel moves smoothly without feeling loose. Hopefully it stays that way. I’ve had more issues with the scroll wheel on other gaming mice than any other kind of problem. Keep in mind this is a gaming mouse. Sure, you can use it for just about anything else as well. But gaming is why you buy this. So what makes for a good gaming mouse? For me the first thing is comfort. It has to sit just right in my hand. Otherwise gaming can become uncomfortable quickly. So far, this has been very comfortable. Second is how well it glides. I don’t think a lot of people think of this before hand. It needs to glide smoothly without feeling any kind of resistance. This of course also depends on the surface you have it on, but on my glass pad it’s been great. And finally, responsiveness. I’ve found no lag and great responsiveness with the several games I’ve tried. Overall this is a great gaming mouse for anyone who needs a solid gaming mouse experience without breaking the bank.

This mouse is simple to use and has just the right number of advanced features. It is light and fits your hand well. AAA batteries are included and is ready to go out of the box. You have the option of connecting directly to Bluetooth or with the included doogle. I prefer the doogle for the lower latency in speed. The optional GG software is well worth downloading if you are a serious gamer. It allows a wealth of configuration features to get it setup just the way you like. An added bonus is that has a 3D Aim Trainer function that allows you to practice FPS shooting.
The mouse clicks are fluid the wheel function is smooth as well. I found I had more control in my favorite FPS games than I did with a much more expensive mouse. I also have Steelseries keyboard and the two complement each other well. I like that I can see the status of both in the software and update each with ease. The battery life seems to be very good, and I prefer batteries over having to charge for quickly getting back in the game when low power.

I got this to replace an aging mouse I have at my office that is starting to have clicking and accuracy issues. I liked this one because it met my criteria of affordable, gaming specs, and customizable. I have had a few products from this company and I figured I'd give it a try. It uses 2aaa batteries, which are included. It claims good battery life, normally most battery powered mice take a single aa, but we'll see. I wanted battery powered so I didn't have to have stop and wait for a charge if I accidentally ran it dead, I could just swap and go with no cable impedance. This connected easily by both 2.4ghz and bluetooth connection. The dongle stores between the batteries under the cover when not in use. I will generally use it bluetooth to keep my ports free on the computer. This had a steel series gg application you can download and when this is connected by the dongle, you can customize settings like separate x and y axis sensitivity, the polling rate, and how it tracks acceleration/ deceleration sensitivity. This is one of the first i have had at this price with an app like this that works. This has a good solid feel, the clicks are adequate, and there is a good click sound. It is not like some of my other quiet mice I have. This works well. And seems to be a good value at this price. I have to give it five stars. There is nothing I can reduce stars form I would reccomend this.
