Customers are enthusiastic about the Rival 600's customizable weight, vibrant RGB lighting, and comfortable design. Many appreciate the high build quality, precise sensor, and responsive performance, along with the extensive customization options offered through the software. However, some users have noted issues with the side button placement and durability of the grip, and a few find the price point to be relatively high. The software is generally well-received for its ease of use and extensive customization options.

Great size, even though I have larger hands. Side buttons are easy to access, though the third side button, which is positioned near the front of the mouse, is difficult to access, even with my hand size, this remains unused. It does come with weights, but I’ve not used them, as I find the natural weight to be very good. I’ve heard of the side grips coming off, but have no had this issue, yet, and I’m sure that is something a little super glue can fix. Overall, great feeling mouse, with amazing response.

Excellent mouse. Feels really nice, it's very comfortable, and the RGB is highly customizable with the Steelseries Engine 3 software. Comes with 8 4g weights if you want to change the mouse's weight, but I don't use it so far. If you lift it just a bit and it doesn't touch your mousepad/desk, it won't move, which is a good thing when gaming and repositionning your mouse.
Highly recommend it, great value for the price.

Maybe the best mouse I've ever had, my old razer DeathAdder started breaking after a year so I went with steel series. First impression: super-premium feel, small than I expected but that's not a bad thing. The weights are super easy to put in and take out and the tracking is great. The RGB strips really fill out the mouse nicely. Hoping to pick up an apex pro keyboard soon now

Gaming + Work

Working from home I use this mouse for office work as well as gaming. The weights are a nice addition, once I found my ideal weight I haven't felt the need to adjust further. I like that Steel series thought about people with larger hands. I can't tell you how annoying it is to use a mouse that requires you to hold your hand into a claw in order to wield it.

Upgraded from several Razer Deathadder mice, and this mouse is 1000x better. The removable weights inside the mouse lets you choose your preferred mouse weight! More importantly the SteelSeries GG software is way better than all the versions of Razer Synapse, that would constantly create windows errors and even system crashes.

Been a fantastic mouse for casual and competitive play! Love the adjustable weight and the fact it's had drinks dumped on it accidentally on multiple occasions and hasn't skipped a beat!

I loved my Arctis 7 headphones so much from Steelseries, I figured I'd give their mouse a try. It works great and is comfortable in my hand. Plenty of customization options and the custom weights are a good bonus as I tend to lift the back end of the mouse up when I game and the weights help prevent that.

This is a quality mosue for gamers. You can customize the weight and the sensor works well. It also has multiple lights for the gamer look. Note that the thumb buttons are up higher on the mouse due to the where the weight are placed. That may be a problem for some. Overall, good product for the price.

I have been using Razer product for few years and now I'm feel tired with Razer's quality. I make a change abd switch to Steelseries product and the mouse is the first thing I buy. I was unlucky cuz the delivery was unable to delivery it to me and they said it lost somewhere and I have to wait for extra few days to let them find it. So I contact with Bestbuy customet service and they said they will send me another one. After 2 days, I got it and I really love it. It fits my hand perfectly and good quality, and I feel very comfortable when I playing game like Call of duty. It helped me a lot when moving around. So far I really love it and me and my brother switch to Steelseries product and we all love it. I highly recommend this mouse for everyone who want a best mouse for pc gaming.

Great confortable mouse for hands of all sizes, has the best sensor in the market, the rgb is just as good as you see in the picture, it has lots of customisation so it can meet any preference, and the detachable cable means it will last a looooooooong time.

The lights are just gorgeous, and the modular design allows you to customize the mouse if you like heavier models, the sensor is the 3360 which is the best in the market, and the software allows for plenty of customization.

Bottom line - this feels great in the hand (if you have medium-large hands), and I played better with it after upgrading from a 10-year-old gaming mouse.
Cursor tracking feels accurate and smooth, although I can't tell if the secondary lift-off sensor is providing any benefit; I don't game enough to notice that kind of thing The buttons, even the thumb controls, feel satisfyingly tactile, some of the best I've ever tried. The third, forward-most thumb button was hard to reach without shifting my grip, even with 20cm hands from wrist to fingertip. The scroll wheel has a good amount of resistance and tactility for scrolling, and I could easily tell how many steps it's scrolling even during gameplay. It's firm enough to be able to reliably click as a middle mouse button without accidentally scrolling, but too firm to be able to spin it quickly - great for gaming tasks, but not ideal for scrolling through long documents or web pages.
Upon picking it up, it immediately felt comfortable and premium in materials quality, with a smooth, soft-touch coating covering the grip surfaces. I can't vouch for the long-term durability of the grip surfaces since I only used it about a week. The mouse buttons are scalloped for the fingers to settle in securely. There's only a slight downward curve to them toward the front of the mouse, which I'm not really used to. The right side slopes downward evenly with no ridge to aid in picking up the mouse, though, so if you like to frequently lift the mouse during gameplay, you might have a little trouble with this one. The CPI button is quite tall, but never got in the way during use. There is a bit of a raised, angular ridge running along the center of the mouse that was noticeable at first, but wasn't distracting during gaming and seemed to help keep my hand from shifting around the mouse. I'd recommend testing a display model for grip - it fit my large hands (20cm from wrist to fingertip) well, but smaller hands may have trouble getting a good grip. It was lighter than I expected for such a large mouse, which is probably a good thing for faster gameplay, and the included weight system can help balance it out or make it heftier. Even though it felt lighter than I'm used to, I wound up not using these after some testing as I found the light weight helpful for gameplay. The removable side panels where the weights are installed fit securely and never shifted around during use. The weights are only friction-fit in rubberized slots, but are held securely by tabs on the inside of the side panels. They did sometimes fall out while removing the panels, though.
The RGB lighting definitely looks cool and is evenly lit, but I barely noticed it during gameplay. The lines that run along the body actually have 3 light segments, and can smoothly transition between colors. Color patterns are customizable in the software, along with button functions, CPI levels, and liftoff distance detection. I haven't had much time to play around with these settings, though, but I have used the software for other SteelSeries peripherals and found it adequate.
The cable is detachable and connects to the mouse via micro-USB. It does use a proprietary plug shape to fit snugly into the mouse, but the socket is large and deep enough that other micro-USB cables with a small enough plug could also fit if the included cable wears out. I didn't test this, though.

The Rival 650 Wireless Edition is by far the greatest mouse I have ever picked up. Starting with the build design and aesthetics, it is very nice to look at. With that being said, the RGB is just fine as well, adds a really nice touch but I am more focused on the performance of the mouse. I purchased this mouse to complete my laptop gaming setup that has just now become that much more portable and easy to setup. I paired this device with my Razer Blade 15 and it was an immediate plug and play, I took the USB dongle and I was ready to go right out the gate. It even came with a full-charged battery, which was very nice of them!

I absolutely love this mouse, especially for the price. Customizing the RBG and the inputs is extremely easy, and it's the same software across all Steelseries devices, including RGB mousepads, headsets, mice, and keyboards. The software is extremely easy and intuitive to use.
The only issue I've had with this mouse in the last year that I've owned it is the rubber on the sides of the mouse. After about 6 months of heavy use, the rubber began to come off, just barely. I contacted Steelseries support on their website, and once I confirmed that I purchased the mouse from Best Buy with a screenshot of the digital receipt, they happily sent me new grip panels.
About a month ago, the same thing happened again. The rubber was beginning to come off again, just barely. Not enough that it was at all an issue, but just enough that I could tell in a few months that it was going to come off again like the last set did. I contacted Steelseries, and they gladly sent me a whole new grip panel set once again, even though I never asked for one this time. They simply said that they know it's an issue, and that they are making it right by sending out the panels whenever the rubber even barely starts to fail.
I've never been "simping" for one brand, especially when it comes to PC components, but Steelseries has completely won me over due to their customer service alone.

Probably the best mouse I have ever owned. I switched to a Rival 710 because I got caught up with the built-in vibration motor feature, otherwise for general and gaming uses this is actually a better mouse. It's just the right weight to feel light yet not light enough to feel like its dragging on the mousepad. The build and material qualities are extremely high and this mouse sounds and feels so satisfying to use and click on. Probably the only thing I would suggest changing would be the RGB light design, but that's just my opinion.

I’ve had two Logitech wireless mousses with the right click button malfunctioning before the sixth month of ownership mark. I already had the steelseries software because of a headset so this was a easy integration without extra software on my PC. It’s bigger than I intended but it’s comfortable and I got used to it fairly quickly. The RGB controls work and the lights are well placed with perfect brightness. The buttons feel premium and the tracking sensor is deadly accurate. So far I’m loving this product.
