First time purchasing a wireless mouse for gaming. Also first steel series product I’ve ever purchased. Was very skeptical about the reliability of the wireless versus wired but it’s proven to be worth every penny. Definitely would purchase again and recommend. My previous mouse was a RAZER

This is an "Alright mouse" when wired it works as one would expect, but when it is wireless, I just feel that there is a constant delay no matter how close I am next to the dongle. I have verified that it has the latest firmware but it just doesn't work as I would have thought for the price.
I purchased this mouse as a primary gaming mouse but I've settled for using a different mouse.
There are 3 things I really liked about this mouse.
1 - It comes with weights so you can make it a heavier or lighter mouse as you like.
2 - You can adjust the sensitivity level and OMG its awesome
3 - The mouse charges really fast and shuts down when not in use - I am not sure if there is a way to adjust this or not but haven't cared enough to explore
The bad
1 - I feel as if the battery depletes pretty fast
2- I don't feel like the mouse moves smoothly
I. wouldn't recommend this as a wireless mouse but using it wired may be an option for some

Have not notice any drop offs. I came from the Corsair M65 pro and i would argue that this mouse is worlds better. Have notice 0 delays.
Love the customization that is available. Battery life is exceptional generally for me last 1 1/2-2 days before needing a charge. It is with use of at least 8 hrs a day.

Although it may be a little heavy for some. This mouse is just as good as its wired counterpart. Great battery life and the quick charge is a great added benefit. Customizable battery saver options are available withiythe steelseries app. If you are looking for a decent wireless mouse, this one definitely won't disappoint

This mouse gives a very smooth gaming experience. I prefer it over Razer or Omen; I also have the Logitech weighted mouse with side keys... this ties with that mouse in experience for me. It’s perfect for mmo’s (think:POE, WoW, Diablo).
We get the most use out of this playing Poe where you need to be quick with your flasks or you die. The side keys come in handy for that (I haven’t opened this one, it’s a present but I have the same sitting on my bookshelf right now; so I’ve actually purchased this mouse twice.)
It also has the benefit of looking nice.
As far as feel goes I would NOT recommend this mouse if you have tiny hands. It doesn’t give the right feel... this is why I mostly use my Logitech mouse. This is not to say it isn’t a perfect mouse, just that you should be aware of the relative shape of your mouse if you’re gaming with it. My husband has longer fingers and this is always his preferred brand.

Have so far very much enjoyed my time with the SteelSeries Rival 650, but it’s not my favorite.
Pros: Very easy to set up and control lighting, excellent build quality, solid ergonomics for right-dominant medium to large hands, wide range if sensitivities, excellent wireless connection.
Cons: Cost, awkwardly placed forward thumb button, subpar battery life considered price
Final thoughts: Not a purchase I regret at all, especially since a lot of the cost was covered by gift cards, however if you are looking for a mouse in this price range I’d recommend the Logitech G903 Lightspeed. Though both mice are similar in a lot of metrics, the battery life on the G903 is far superior, and although it is lacking a third thumb button it does have two rocker switches on the mouse wheel to compensate, I find the third thumb button unusable on the 650 anyway.

Great mouse, very customizable with the tiny weights you can add/remove to preference, and the SteelSeries software lets you customize all the buttons as well as RGB lighting which you can sync w their keyboards. Definitely would recommend.

My old mouse didn't work with my new machine, so I bought this 650. It works great, it has an absurd range, not that you need it. Plus the charging cable is over 6ft long! The RGB aspect is fully customizable, I went with a solid dark red.

I would have given this mouse 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bad battery life. I love the feel of the mouse and the adjustable weight. The only thing I had a problem with was the life of the battery. It would last maybe one day without charging. I lasted about a week until I switched back to a wired gaming mouse.

At 6' 2 with very large hands it has been hard to find a quality heavy wireless mouse. The steel series 650 has been a pleasant replacement to my old rat 9 wireless... good going steel series!!!

If ever there was a favorite mouse for me, this is it! So much so I had my Mum get one too because she loves it and with so many physical issues (arthritis and such) this mouse was quite comfortable for her to use as well.

very good mouse, i love how it’s wireless. one thing that i must say: to use the smaller side mouse button, you must go into the steelseries engine to map that mouse button to a button on the keyboard.
