What to expect from Clutch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clutch have always been the kind of band that did things their own way. Whether it's putting out something a little bluesy, or hard and heavy, of course they would want to start their own label. For their first release on Weathermaker Music, we get Strange Cousins From The West: a great showcase of what they do best, but more stripped down. As far as the type of sound, it leans more towards bluesy, but a little rockin'. If that's what you like, I also recommend Robot Hive/Exodus and From Beale Street To Oblivion. If you like hard and heavy, Earth Rocker is perfect. Clutch, Elephant Riders and Pure Rock Fury are also recommended.

Great band; everybody needs to get into this band
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this album for the song "50,000 Unstoppable Watts". After listening to the whole album a couple of times, I'm sold on Clutch!! This particular album comes across to me as a decent mix of Black Sabbath and Deep Purple with a little bit of Tool thrown in. Straight forward had rock with nothin' fancy. A must have for any serious music fan (of hard rock, that is!!)
