What to expect from Clutch

Whether it's putting out something a little bluesy, or hard and heavy, of course they would want to start their own label. For their first release on Weathermaker Music, we get Strange Cousins From The West: a great showcase of what they do best, but more stripped down. As far as the type of sound, it leans more towards bluesy, but a little rockin'. If that's what you like, I also recommend Robot Hive/Exodus and From Beale Street To Oblivion. If you like hard and heavy, Earth Rocker is perfect. Clutch, Elephant Riders and Pure Rock Fury are also recommended.

After listening to the whole album a couple of times, I'm sold on Clutch!! This particular album comes across to me as a decent mix of Black Sabbath and Deep Purple with a little bit of Tool thrown in. Straight forward had rock with nothin' fancy. A must have for any serious music fan (of hard rock, that is!!)
