Memories of countless summers and evenings becoming the best player on the block. Picked up for the nostalgia, left with feeling I can't compete with anyone online. Though I suck at the game play, it's still a great game. Guess I gotta keep playing it to crush some noobs!

A Great Compilation of Arcade Classics

If you were a fan of Street Fighter back in the day, then this game is for you. It has ALL the arcade Street Fighter games in every iteration. They are arcade perfect and unchanged. Some have knocked the graphics, but they are exactly as they should be - these games are not enhanced ports, though there is the ability to use save states. There is an issue with controls, though that is more the fault of the Switch. The Joycon controllers are not ideal, so consider a Pro style controller or, even better, an arcade fighting stick. This does add to expense though and limits the value of portability. As for the games, Street Fighter II is the star here of course, and it comes in regular, Champions Edition, Turbo, Super, and Super Turbo flavors - pick your favorite and have fun! The inclusion of all 3 Alpha games is nice as well, and there are the three versions of Street Fighter 3 as well. They also included the original game, however that one's more of a curiosity as it is very difficult and clunky. Still, it completes a great package that also has some history and other documentation that can be freely viewed. Overall, this is quite a lot of game for the price and it's great for reliving the fighting game glory days!

Great throwback to play on the go. I love playing all the different SF games over the years. Especially for the price.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection on the Switch is a very good compilation of many Street Fighter arcade games in a 10+year time frame (these are all classics so nothing after '99 essentially). The rest comes in the form of soundtracks from the games presented. My favorite part is the huge art gallery they've included in-game to go over little known history, early concepts and more over the 30 years Street Fighter has been around. I'm just a little disappointed that this wasn't labeled "Arcade Collection" because they're missing out on a lot of other SF releases that would be more fitting under an "Anniversary Collection" name. However, let me be honest here. The only reason I didn't rush out to get this on any other platform was because I wanted to play Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on the go because it was my favorite SF game when I was about 15 after discovering it on Dreamcast. I bought it two more times on 360 and PS3 when the HD Online Edition came out but I still needed a TV. Yes, almost exactly 10 years later would I be able to officially play SFIII: 3rd Strike and the other SFIII versions on the go in one game. Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact is my favorite in presentation as it's the only one that holds up in official widescreen. The games are all based on the arcade versions so those used to any console versions (like me) will notice a difference. I still prefer SFIII: 3rd Strike on console but the arcade is good enough for me (even thought the soundtrack is lower quality than the console)! As for the competitive scene, I don't really mind the potential smaller player base on Switch as I'm not an online competitor. I've played fighters casually on arcade all my life and very rarely if ever online. Also one last thing to point out. You can exploit the save system and create a save state during your playthrough. So if you want to get through arcade mode more flawlessly if you lack the skill, you can save before a crucial moment and load it back up if you fail. Overall decent collection for classic fans and those interested in the history of Street Fighter in one compilation.

Nostalgic game perfect for both gamers that are familiar with the series or have never played a Street Fighter game before. Great price for multiplayer fun and I love how it includes a collection of 10 retro Street Fighter games.

The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection does not contain all the entries of the Street Fighter II series or Street Fighter Alpha series in which it does lack Street Fighter II HD Remix, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. However, it does contain Street Fighter (1987), Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (1991), Street Fighter II: Champion Edition (1992), Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting (1992), Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (1993), Super Street Fighter II: The Tournament Battle (1993, Switch exclusive), Super Street Fighter II Turbo (1994), Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams (1995), Street Fighter Alpha 2 (1996), Street Fighter Alpha 3 (1998), Street Fighter III: New Generation (1997), Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact (1997), and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike (1999). Obviously, this still proves to be an impressive collection of memories and fun of one the greatest fighting series in video game history.

Great SF game for those who loved the SF 3 series. There are a lot of versions of SF 2, which adds to the count (although it's a marketing ploy). Truthfully, SF2 Turbo, the Alpha series, and SF3rd Strike make the core of this game. Worth it if you did not buy the remastered SF2 Challengers. Unfortunately, I did buy both, so SF2 Challengers lost a lot of value because of this collection. Vault has really nifty tidbits about history and character profile

If you love the Street fighter series this is for you. 12 games from the series. The controls are smooth with fighting stick but still play well on the switch controls. I had no lag or slowdowns at all. The sound , voices, and music is all the same as you remember it back in the day. There are plenty of extra added to it also. If you love the games in the series you owe yourself a trip down SF memory lane.

If you grew up on Street Fighter on the Super Nintendo, this is the game to get! However, the controls aren't that responsive for Street Fighter 2. For the later versions of Street Fighter on this cartridge, the controls are slightly better. Definitely will feed your nostalgia for the game!

Excellent Collection to have for on the go or on the dock. Street fighter is legendary, more impact on the culture than most games could ever dream of. I would take this over Fortnite with everything they ever put in it for free

Plenty of Street Fighter 2 versions to play, as well as SF1, Alpha1, Alpha2, Alpha3, and 3 versions of SF3. Special Features include music, artwork and a timeline chronicling the history of Street Fighter. One negative issue with the Switch version is the joycons. No dpad is make or break for some people. And some people have been reporting trouble with lag with the joycons.

This game is well priced at a price I like to spend on games, $39.99, but it is also the best game you’ve played! With so many street fighter launches, from a few Street fighter 2 games, to street fighter alpha games and up to street fighter 3, you have a collection of street fighter games. If your a fighting game fan this is like a bundle of many street fighter games, including the first street fighter game. Best deal for $39.99. Very high replay value!
