Great to see a movie I saw as a kid remade to a blu-ray. Excellent quality.

This is a replacement of my Laserdisc version which I no longer have. I enjoy this movie because of the actors and actresses who are in it. The music is good and it’s just a great way to relax with what has been going on this past year.

This movie is so beautifully strange. You’ll either love it or ask yourself what you just saw. The music is great and the characters are … well… unique.

A classic American story of love and rock n roll. I only gave it 4 stars due the wrong item sent, I wanted the the one with the art cover, instead I received the one with the actual actors on the cover. I ordered it again and I got the wrong one.

I remember watching this movie as a kid and loving it. Also loved Eddie and the Cruisers, so it was a must see when I discovered Michael Pare' was one of the main stars. Great movie!

the good old 80s movies...........didnt think I would find this but Best Buy had it........t great price and good movie

If you love the movies and music from the 80's, you are going to love this movie. The movie is centered more towards the music than a story line, but since the music works, this is fine.

I was trying to buy 2 songs on iTunes. But you can only buy the album and it was too much. I looked on bestbuy and they had the best price. Got it cheap and love the album.

Going back and seeing this movie again after at least a decade and more of the first viewing, showed that it still stands the test of time. Acting and storyline was good and the music in it was great.

This is a classic 80s movie, featuring 80s music and a good story. The movie is fast paced and has a lot of action. It is worth a watch.

I had a VHS version of this movie. Had to get the DVD. Such a Classic. I've probably viewed this movie over 100 times!!!

I love the pace of the story and to go back and see the actors when they were younger is cool. The soundtrack is amazing.

Kick Butt movie with Willem Dafoe as one of the greatest bad guys ever!! Perhaps Michael Parés best performance. Diane Lane was 19 when this was made and she was believable as the rock star Ellen Aim. No matter what I see Amy Madigan in, still 25 years later she is always "McCoy". Standard Boy rescues old flame plot, but with enough friction between the main characters to keep it interesting and somethimes funny. Excellent lighting, sets and editing to keep the movie on a fast pace, and the soundtrack/backing music by Ry Cooder, The Blasters and others make it an intense movie!! This was a Walter Hill movie he shot just after 48 hrs. One of the best ways to kill an hour & ahalf on a rainy, cold evening!!

The who;e movie was based on a fairly tail. Excellent cast and lots of action, kept your attention through out the entire movie.Givesyou an idea what street gangs where like back in the 50's and 60's. Would reccomend to anyone who likes Rock&Roll.

sure this flim may be a little campy in it's plot but it does have a 50's rock score and the way I look at a movie is that at the end of the film do I feel like I have just wasted an hour or two of my life and with this film I did NOT feel that way . In fact I had just told someone anout this film and recommended they see it . I look at a lot of moives and in 51 years I have seen my share of bad films this is not one of them , not great but not bad .
